What a mess!

Got an item in the beginning of December as a Christmas present it hasn’t arrived until January and was shipped to a wrong address. Turned out it’s completely wrong item! I now have to arrange for it to be shipped back and was told to pay the higher price as it’s not on sale anymore! What a mess!

Unacceptable, where is my money?

I bought a jacket that didn’t fit, £545. Sent it back. On 7 Jan received a note, yes, we will refund you within 10BD.

Nothing, have emailed them five times, their phone does not work. Ummm, where is my money?

I bought another, in the right size and did not return, it’s great. But this is just too weird now, Will talk to bank tomorrow.

I assume they won’t respond to this either.

Edit: received money this evening, changed to 3 stars because am very happy with jacket I kept, which was sent quickly.

Great products and support

I have quite a few Burton Snowboard Products:
Two Boards, StepOn Bindings and Boots, Anon Goggle + Helmet and Burton Snowboard clothes.
All of those products are really enjoyable and well made. I also love how Burton cares about clever packaging their stuff so its better for the environment.

Lately I had a little problem with one of the Boots and had contact to the support. I must admit it took a while to get an answer but all in all they solved my issue very well and the apologized for the wait and send me a surprise as a compensation.

I am really pleased and want to thank the Burton support team innsbruck (THANKS PHIL)! Also thanks for great products such as StepOn and my Boards. Big Love!

Great products, terrible e-commerce

Great products, terrible e-commerce and non-existent support. Ordered over 1000 Eur of board/boots/bindings, didn't receive the advertised First Chair discount, looks like only part of the order was shipped, two different pages on the account show different order statuses, no update on the rest of the order, over 4 days of no replies to emails (EU support email), impossible to reach over the phone.

Very happy to use Burton products, and sad about such a bad online shopping experience with them.

Upd: support responded and resolved discount/shipping concerns. Part of the order was cancelled though, due to an out-of-stock item. Out of stock after the order was placed? And the item is still advertised as available? :facepalm:

Doubt on the products and censorship of negative comments on their website

Orders easy to manage and returning a product is easy (at least a good point), now I've been disappointed by the false advertisement for a pair of gloves bought on Burton.
Gloves were different than on the photo, much darker and with a different Burton patch less classy.
Maybe the same model in a new version, but why is it still the old photo? According to some reviews I saw on Internet, that problem is known since 2019! THIS IS NOT SERIOUS!
Also by reading the description you can think they are all made of wool, or at least that it is wool majority. It is actually made 90% synthetic and only 7% of wool!
Gloves are ok otherwise, and confortable. True that they are advertised for all seasons but I was expecting them warmer still.
The touch screen is a great addition (works as intended) and the main interest of those gloves actually, but overall I find them overpriced for the value of the item (moreover knowing they're made in Cambodia...).
Now I also been quite disappointed about their website censoring negative comments! I tried many times to post a comment on the product especially to warn about the problems, but how funny it never appeared... (while I still received automatic email it was well received and pending). Burton seems to only publish positive comments on their website, and to ban negative comments below 3 stars....
All of this story shows a lack of reliability, and that this is not a trustworthy shop.

Achtung wenn es um Reklamationen von boards geht

Hab mir ein burton custom 2021 gekauft. Das ist bereits mein drittes custom. Bin immer sehr zufrieden gewesen mit den Boards aber bei meinem aktuellen, dass ich 3 mal gefahren bin, platzt der Lack ab und die Kanten lösen sich auf. Ich habe bei meinem Händler und bei burton das Board reklamiert aber es kommt bloß zurück dass es Schäden von Transport, lagerung und liftschlange sind. Ich habe es allerdings bloß in einer Tasche transportiert, das Board hängt im Wohnzimmer an einer wandhalterung und am Lift bin ich noch nicht angestanden. Man erkennt auch dass keine Schäden von Kratzern oder sonstiges entstanden sind, sondern dass nach benutzen der Lack leicht abgeht. Ich will nicht kleinlich sein aber wie sieht das Board nach einer Saison aus. Auf eine Garantie will burton nicht eingehen. Wenn ich das gewusst hätte dass ich so ein montagsbrett bekomme, hätte ich niemals das Brett über 500€ gekauft. Naja das wars für mich mir burton. Denk denen ist das auch egal, da man sich auf so einen Namen ausruhen kann und Kundenservice klein schreiben kann.

Uudet siteet ei käy uuteen lautaan

Tuotteet on ihan hyviä. Tilasin Burtonin uuden lumilaudan Radius-L, jossa on 3D kiinnitys siteille. Uudet Burtonin Scribe siteet eivät käy lautaan, koska toimitukseen ei sisälly 3D -kiinnitykseen sopiva kiekkoa. Tätä 3D -kiekkoa ei saa paikallisilta myyjiltä. Ilmeisesti ostettava toiset uudet siteet, joissa toimitukseen sisältyy 3D levy. JunkYardin toimittamissa Burton Scribe -mallin siteissä se ei tule toimituksessa, ainoastaan kiekko, jossa 4 kiinnitysreikää. Tuotetiedoissa mainitaan että "sopii useimpiin kiinnitysjärjestelmiin". No, niitä lienee kolme: 3 ruuvia, 4 ruuvia tai EST -kisko....

Ordered a pair of snowboarding gloves…

Ordered a pair of snowboarding gloves and tried to get in touch with them on the phone to advise that I entered my email address incorrectly - could not get in touch with them on the phone, waiting over an hour and just gave but. Sent them an email, no response.
Absolute joke!

Avoid!!

Avoid! I ordered a coat on the 28th November 2021 with 5 days delivery and still waiting now (10th December). I spoke to Millie who wasn’t that helpful yet asked me to write a good review. She told me I picked 10 days but I’ve got an email to prove 5 days.

I've made an order online

I've made an order online, valued over £400, over a month has passed and still no delivery. Package is stuck at customs with UPS. Burton Customer Support seem unable to help resolve the issue, instead I'm simply asked to wait longer. How long should I have to wait? Seriously expected better from Burton.

Edit:

Burton managed to deliver the goods, and gave me a 10% promo code. I'm not really sure what caused the delivery to take so long, but they managed to resolve it for me. The products received were great quality, and I feel Burton did a good job in the end.

Communication poor. Service shaky.

Mixed experience- there is no doubt that Burton's equipment is great. Contacting, via live chat is intermittently difficult as it is often disabled/not monitored. E mails go unanswered until the issue or inquiry has ceased to be relevant. The live chat answers I received were inaccurate. When I called whilst the help desk person I spoke to was lovely the information was Inaccurate. There was very little communication with regards to what stage my missing/ paused/ cancelled order was at- I had to chase them. If your "gifted" accelerated UPS delivery by way of apology for your order not being delivered because their website isn't accurately tied into their stock quantities their checkout doesn't give you opportunity to use the code or accept it. Had I known I was only going to receive 2/3rds of my order it might have informed my choice and I might have chosen different bindings had I known the boots of my choice weren't going to materialise. The replacement second boots arrived(too small) An opportunity to Exchange would be appreciated rather than having to rebuy a separate item(3rd boot order) and then await a refund for the previous returned order(2nd boot order) .. and - If you're buying snowboard boots make sure you buy a size and a half larger.. It will save you a lot of tooing and frowing!.. Arguably my fault for making the rookie error of buying snowboard boots online.... Not helped by less than slick service... Doh.
Ongoing update...
Ordered a pair of boots half a size up ( 3rd order)... didn't even make it to Scotland... after being 2 weeks late they have been returned to sender as parcel was "undeliverable" despite not even having made it to the country of destination... ( customs paperwork issue) must say.... quite severely miffed...
so were on the 4th attempt.... UPS tracking stated the delivery had stalled at label printing... so I phoned Burton.. they said they will arrive Wednesday... wonder or wonders. A day early...
They arrived... relieved , happy and they fit... what a £%^&ing palava... who says tenacity doesn't pay.. sodding Brexit....

Probably one of the worse online stores…

Probably one of the worse online stores I've dealt with.

I recently bought some snow boots for my Girlfriends bday. Spent the extra on deliver to make sure I had them In time. A week has now gone by without even a tracking number and still no boots.

left 5 emails without reply and called several times.
I brought with Burton as thought they were a decent brand but reading these other reviews seems like they are losing it.
