I asked for a pump
I asked for a pump. I now have a pump. It works. The beautifully crafted cardboard box in which it came, with the extremely detailed instructions written on the actual box and readable when unfolded, was a work of art and precision. It was also completely incomprehensible to me. Happily the Brilliant Bikes video of how to attach a pump saved the day.

Poor customer service after being sent a scratched bike
The brand new bike (worth £3879) arrived with scratched paint on the frame. I have been waiting for an appropriate resolution from customer service for 10 days now. No response to emails. Every time I chase the query via their online chat, the agent tells me they will 'get back soon' or to 'keep checking my emails' but they have not followed through. Really upsetting to have this experience and such poor customer service after making such a huge purchase.

The replacement part for my old Brompton was not accurately described on the website so I ended up with an incompatible part, which I can not use or return,m the shipping costs more than the part itself.

Beautiful Bikes - Don't Trust "aftership"
The two bikes I bought are beautiful. They are a pleasure to ride, fold and look at. Looking forward to many years of enjoyment.
The "aftership" company that gives you shipping status after purchase showed the shipment coming via FedEx, but FedEx could not find the tracking number. Turns out the bikes were shipped UPS and it was a UPS tracking number. The bikes arrived six days after placing the order. All was good, but for almost a week it looked like the bikes had not been shipped.

It's a household brand for a reason
It's a household brand for a reason. Great quality. Quite heavy and the folding mechanism could be better - used some alternative cheaper brands who have smoother locking mechanism. It's slighlty annoying when buying online you can't return to store and vice versa. Especially since online returns are paid for!? Not a great customer experience. I bought an electric bike bag for an electric bike which didn't fit... misleading description with me paying the price for return.
