DRIVER FALLING ASLEEP!!!!!

FEARED FOR OUR LIVES!!!!!! DANGER!!!!!! DRIVER WAS FALLING ASLEEP!!!!!!! If you value your life, do not use this company. Not sure what their protocol is for hiring drivers and ensuring they are getting enough rest!!! Driver was literally falling asleep in front of me and denying it like a child doing something wrong. Blood red eyes closing, head falling forward and swerving over the line between lanes! Worst experience ever!!!! Should have paid the extra money and went with a more reputable company, never again!!!! Shame on you for taking the side of the driver and not giving us a full refund, Even sent the company an email during the journey and get this, they actually called the driver while we were in midst journey and the driver denied everything. This made us extremely uncomfortable and put us in a really bad spot. Now the driver is pissed and doesn't care!!! The company attempted to call me and i denied the call, sent them an email statin g that i will not talk about the driver in front of the driver as that will put us in a more compromising predicament. They ended up giving us only a partial refund and told us to have a nice day, they were extremely apologetic but to me the experience warranted a full refund in my opinion. We have since reported the company/driver to the London Transportation Authorities!!!!!!

DANGER!!!!BEWARE!!!!!!

BEWARE!!!!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE!!!!!! WE FEARED FOR OUR LIVES!!!!!!Had to call the company night before to confirm transfer & request the drivers info. Company several hrs later sent the info.Journey began at the Crown Plaza London Heathrow Airport to the City Cruise Terminal in South Hampton. Driver was very upset when initially meeting, had to enter the hotel area twice for some reason & they made him pay twice. He left us in the car and went in and complained to the hotel with us waiting. He returned to the car extremely upset & complaining that he didn't want to do this job anymore because he didn't make enough money. This was the way we started our 10 day cruise vacation with my 81yr old mom. Had to stop the driver's negativity by telling him that we would give him the money for the entrance fee & that we want to start our journey with positive energy. He then began to calm down, this just cost me £15 extra to begin the journey. He seemed to be ok from there, we arrived on time and safe. We gave the driver an extra tip.The nightmare of the return journey from the City Cruise Terminal to London Hilton Paddington Hotel.2 days prior to the return pick up day, i had to call the compay for confirmation of pickup location and time due to no answer to our email. A lady who didn't speak or understand English very well answered the phone. I gave her our reservation number to confirm and she acknowledged, i had requested confirmation of transfer and drivers information via email and she confirmed it would be sent.The next day we had still not received any email. This was a bit dis-concerning so i called again due to it being our transfer day. Thank GOD i began this 5 hrs prior to our transfer time. Same lady answered the phone and i gave her our reservation number that she couldn't find to confirm and she stated “there is no booking under that reservation”. She stated that she would investigate and call me back and send email ASAP! I explained that i would wait patiently for the info & she hung up. I waited 30 minutes and called back, Now i am getting upset!!!! A gentleman answered, he found our reservation and said he would send email to confirm. I still ended up calling back 3 times to get a simple email. Finally we received the email but no driver info, called back to request again. Complete nightmare!!!! We are now sitting on the dock waiting for a driver that we have no information for. Called transfer company again & again but they were waiting on the drivers/photo of his car due to him being a new hire. Finally got w/2 hrs to spare. He had also included the WhatsApp # of driver which i sent a message right away. I asked the driver if he could pick us up early due to us having our 81 yrs old mother with us outside in the cold because there was nowhere inside we were aloud to sit and wait. Now the transfer company said they found a local driver from the area we were in to pick us up. Driver stated it will still be another 2 hrs for him to arrive but assured he was already on the way! ????? WOW!!!! Nothing we could do. We thought it would be a long shot but had to ask.Finally 2 hrs later driver arrived & we left. Mom wanted to sit in the front so she could see the sights, my wife & i sat in the back seat gladly to be together.Driver was falling asleep 30 minutes into the drive, we feared for our life & i asked driver several times if he was ok, if not to let us out, said he was fine. Sent email to company about this and they called him, he said he was fine. I could see the drivers eyes in the rear view mirror closing and his head nodding forward. I had to keep poking him and kept sending emails to company, nothing! We all know what someone falling asleep at the wheel looks like. Weaving from lane to lane i kept poking him to keep him awake till we arrived at hotel. Company would only refund 50% of the second leg and denied everything. We have a case open with Transportation Authority in London against the company/driver, hopefully something will be done. 18 Emails.

Highly recommend Britway

Communication between us and the driver was great. Mustafa contacted us shortly after we exited the airplane and kept in contact as we went thru immigration, arranging our pickup location. He was very friendly and a very good driver on our 2 hr drive to the coast. His car was clean and very comfortable. I can highly recommend Britway and Mustafa.

Excellent Service

I had a great experience with Brit Way Airport Transfer. The service was reliable and professional from start to finish. The driver arrived on time, was courteous, and the vehicle was clean and comfortable, which made the journey stress-free.

Communication was also very smooth, everything was clearly confirmed in advance, and there were no last-minute issues. It’s clear they value punctuality and customer service.

I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a dependable airport transfer and will likely use their service again in the future.

This Company's Driver Did a Great Job!

This company did a great job! My flight arrival time changed numerous times the company was great about keeping in touch with me and assuring me that the driver would be at the airport on time which he was. The driver was friendly, courteous, helpful and got me to my destination quickly and safely. Very dependable!

Excellent airport transfer service

Harry was waiting for me even though my flight arrived early. He was very helpful with my luggage and offered to stop for coffee after a long and tiring flight. It was a pleasure meeting and riding with him.

Wonderful experience

Once booked I was kept informed of driver and eta. He was early in a great Van and the 5 of us arrived At Stanstead 30 minutes ahead of our expected time. Wonderful experience and gave us a great start to our holiday.

Very friendly

Very friendly, helpful and kind. Mustafa helped me with my bags from the terminal and walked to the car ! Chatty and made me feel comfortable and at ease. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a smooth transition and pick up to your next location.

I called Britway Airport Transfer at short notice for a lift to the airport.

Mustafa drove me from Colchester to Heathrow. Mustafa was on time and helped me with my bags. Really friendly guy and good conversation.

Even helped me with making sure I had the right terminal — I didn’t! Thank you for checking with me Mustafa.

Can’t recommend the company enough, especially Mustafa himself.

NEVER AGAIN

BOTTOM LINE: BRITWAY HAS NOT
REFUNDED MY CANCELLED TRIP OR THE OVERCHARGED AMOUNT FOR THE FIRST LEG OF TRANSPORT!

Booked roundtrip executive estate service from Manchester to Liverpool. We were celebrating my husband’s 50th birthday.

1. We weren’t met at the meet and greet area with a sign (as promised). Instead we were asked to walk to the express pick-up area outside (parking garage adjacent to arrivals). We called back to ask where the driver was located and told to pick a spot.

2. Called company re: driver pickup issues and requested a refund. Ultimately informed there was an issue with the vehicle I booked. Driver arrived in sweats 4 min late. A dirty Toyota arrived with a huge Uber sign. Driver was not aware of a “car issue” or my booking arrangements. He advised he accepted my trip from a queue. I assume the company input my travel details into Uber.

3. I requested a refund and to cancel my return trip. Discovered I was overcharged after reviewing invoices and my credit card. BRITWAY STOPPED RESPONDING after providing proof of error so I reported the theft to my bank (along with documentation).

Due to an unavoidable issue, we were unable to provide the executive estate vehicle you booked, and had to arrange a standard vehicle instead. However, we never want to leave our passengers stranded, so we ensured transport was provided.

We have already processed a refund for the difference in the executive upgrade you paid for, and under your request, we also cancelled your return journey and refunded the full amount. Please allow a few working days for the funds to reflect in your account, depending on your bank.

We truly value your trust, and as a gesture of goodwill, we would be happy to provide an executive vehicle at the normal price on your next booking with us, or alternatively extend a generous discount. While issues can occasionally happen, our team always does its best for our clients, which is reflected in the many positive reviews we receive.

We are very sorry again for the inconvenience and hope we have the opportunity to serve you better in the future.

Stressfull experience and scam

I booked a trip for my parents as they don’t speak English very well and I thought it would make things easier. Pick up was scheduled for 5:30, but at 5 the driver started calling me and putting me under unnecessary stress. The whole point of booking a premium service was to be stress free but it didn’t work out that way.
After finally picking them up, the driver asked my parents to pay him £10 for parking, even though the actual parking cost was only £7.50 and later finding out from the customer service that the driver isn’t allowed to collect cash without informing the office first. However, my parents not being familiar with how the service works and not wanting to upset him, paid what he asked for.
My parents came out just 10 minutes after the booked pick up time due to unforeseen long waiting time at the customs, which is still within the 30 minute free waiting period so there should have been no extra charges at all.
This felt very unprofessional and dishonest. The experience was stressful, overpriced, and completely undermined the reason I booked this service in the first place. We’ll definitely use a different company in the future.

BEST AIRPORT TRANSFER

After several disappointing experiences with airport pickups from Heathrow I decided to try Britway. I'm so glad I did. Apart from the very competitive quotes, from the beginning their customer service was outstanding, with swift and polite responses to my queries. The driver who picked me up from Heathrow, Vivek, was so friendly and was waiting for me when I arrived with my name clearly displayed. All the other companies seem to offer this but often I have had to wait up to half an hour with difficulties communicating with the driver. Not what you want after a 9hr overnight flight. Vivek was the perfect driver and when I requested him for my return journey two months later, the company made sure he was assigned to me. I'm grateful to Britway and will continue to use them for my international trips.
