Awful customer service

I bought a £2600 daybed from the website 9 days ago. I get an email this morning saying "it's not in stock, but we have a damaged ex-display model available with a £200 discount, but there are no warranties or refunds".
No customer in their right mind would accept this. It is terrible customer service, and is a terrible offer for an expensive item. Very poor indeed.

We did attempt to contact you last week regarding the stock issue; however, due to a technical problem on our end, our emails were unfortunately not being sent. This was only resolved recently, which is why you received the update later than intended. We completely understand how disappointing this must have been.

As the daybed available was an ex-display model, it would not have come with a warranty, and while we offered a £300 partial refund to reflect the imperfections, we were unfortunately unable to meet your request for a 50% discount, and we appreciate that this was not suitable for you.

Your order has now been fully refunded, and you should receive this within 3–5 working days.

Once again, please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused, and thank you for bringing this to our attention.

My order has not been completed and I've been unable to get a delivery date. Waiting for over a week for an update.

Final part of order satisfactorily delivered on 15th April. Apart from the lack of delivery schedule update, I'm happy with the product and service.

Exceptional Quality and First-Class Service from Bridgman

I recently set out to replace our outdoor sofa set with a new dining set and came across Bridgman. I was immediately impressed by their commitment to quality, design, durability, and overall customer experience.

After calling for more information about the all-seasons collections, I was advised to consider the Kensington dining set by Edita. It ticked all the boxes for what I was looking for, and after speaking with Edita, I felt confident I was making the right choice.

Great service!!

Great service!!! Really helpful couldn’t recommend them more. The product is really good, I ordered 8 garden chairs from the them 10 years ago and they are still as good as new but felt it was time to renew the cushions as they had slightly faded from them being left out in the sun ☀️ over the past 10 years. They do replacement cushions and Bruno was amazing at getting them ordered and they were delivered with on days!! Great service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Kensington dining set

Having decided to replace our old garden dining furniture we visited a couple of garden centres and were completely underwhelmed both by choice and quality.
After some extensive online research and speaking to the very helpful and knowledgeable Bruno, we visited the Walton on Thames showroom.
We met Emma, who usually works in Wilmslow, and her knowledge and enthusiasm led us to choose a Kensington round table and 6 dining armchairs along with a matching parasol.
Ordering and delivery was very smooth and we are thrilled with our new furniture.

Harry did a great job of upselling

Harry did a great job of upselling. Ended up buying a lot more than we went shopping for! We were an easy target as we’ve had a lot of Bridgman furniture before (and still have) as it’s comfortably the best you can buy. Our previous cushions survived 15+ years of abuse, only being taken in for a couple of months in the depths of winter. The new ones are even better than the originals. And the original rattan is still like new.

Quality product and personable service

We have bought through Bridgman before and 14 years later the product was almost as good as new. This quality of product promoted me to see what they had to offer when I wanted to buy some outdoor furniture. After applying for a catalogue, Bruno (Sales Co-ordinator) phoned me and offered to include some useful samples with the catalogue. He promptly sent the items and followed this up with a phone call to ask for my thoughts. I discussed my thoughts with him and he made suggestions. I told him I wasn’t ready to order until I’d seen more of what the competitors do and he dealt with that very professionally, merely pointing out the main advantages of a Bridgman product with out trying to push me into buying. He provided a quote and I got back to him a few days later to place my order. This personal service was so nice and something that is sadly rare these days. A big thank you to Bruno

Poor delivery service even though huge cost!

There is no doubting the quality of Bridgman furniture, and this recent acquisition of a large garden cushion box, was expected to be no different. That said, I'm struggling to be comfortable with the £900 price tag now I've seen it! Also, I am very disappointed with the logistics company utilised by Bridgman, to deliver the box. Firstly, we had no indication that the box was being delivered on Wednesday 1st April, even though this was our preferred date stated a week before. My wife received an email at 12.10pm on the Wednesday, stating the box would be delivered between 11.45am and 13.45pm that day. At the time, she was 20 miles away from home! She left her lunch date early, rushed back home and the box arrived just before 1pm. Secondly, it was dumped in my garage fully packed and wrapped and strapped to a pallet. We had no help with unpacking and it was left to me to dispose of the reams and reams of packaging, and also to dispose of a full sized pallet that won't fit in our car! Thirdly, once I did get it all unpacked, I couldn't get it through any of my external doors. I needed two neighbours' help to shimmy it over a section of flat roof on my house. Dangerous and difficult! I'm sure the initial response from Bridgman will be "delivery to kerbside", but the Bridgman brand and the cost of the Bridgman brand, says to me that the delivery company should be unpacking, disposing of the pallet and packaging AND seeing the box into its final location as a minimum. Having spent almost £9k on Bridgman furniture in the last few years, I fear I may have spent my last £'s on it....

The service provided for this order was a one-man delivery, which is a kerbside service and does not include unpacking, packaging removal, or placement of the product inside the property. Unfortunately, delivery teams are not insured to carry out those additional services. That said, we understand your expectations given the nature of our brand.

We’re particularly sorry to hear about the difficulty you experienced moving the cushion box into place.
