Should have read the reviews first. I unfortunately found the UK version of the cot mattress but ordered in Australia, never thinking a company that brands itself as eco would sell a child’s mattress that is 100% polyester, the worst material in existence for microplastics. I called to ask what I could do and the customer service rep Natasha suggested I donate it to a woman “in crisis, because some people are fleeing their homes and don’t have anything”. I found this bizarre and inappropriate for so many reasons and raised it in an email, only to receive a rebuttal: “With respect, a “family in need” can encompass a range of circumstances, including those affected by extreme weather events, flooding, or other unexpected hardships.” Aside from the nauseating greenwashing — when you google eco or non-toxic cot mattress, this is one of the first to come up, which means the company has chosen to use these terms in their SEO — the customer service was some of the strangest I’ve ever experienced.
The worst experience EVER
I placed an order for a mattress on 1 March 2026. However, on 10 March, I received an incorrect item, a fitted sheet... I contacted Boori immediately and received a response the following day advising that I would need to return the item via Australia Post before the correct product could be dispatched. I responded to explain that, due to personal circumstances, specifically the unexpected early birth of my child and both my wife and new born being in hospital I would be unable to attend a post office for several days. Given the urgency of my situation and the fact that the error was on Boori’s part, I requested that the correct item be sent as a priority while I arranged the return.
Unfortunately, this request was declined.
By their response, you can see that they really do not care about customers, only profit, even when they make mistakes.... No consideration given to the circumstances or the inconvenience caused by the initial error. The resolution process placed the burden entirely on me to rectify a mistake that was not mine.
Once I was able to return the item, I notified Boori immediately. I was then advised that the replacement mattress would be processed for shipping, with an estimated delivery timeframe of up to 10 business days. There was no offer of expedited shipping, acknowledgement of the delay, or any form of goodwill gesture. Natasha in Customer Service is the prime example of how having poor attitudes in customer service leads to future failings
Overall, I am extremely disappointed with how this matter has been handled. The lack of flexibility, urgency, and customer care has resulted in a frustrating experience during what is already a challenging time for my family. I hope everyone reads this before buying with such a greedy and poorly run company.

Contacted boori asking for a refund and was advised that the only resolution would be waiting more time whilst they sent more parts for more frustration!!!
I would not recommend buying this product.
Terrible attitude
We spent thousands of dollars on Boori products for a nursery. They delivered a few weeks ago but life has been predictably busy so we've only just been able to unpack everything.
On opening the boxes it was clear that 2 mattress protector covers were missing. We shot off a polite email to let them know. The reply was very upsetting. They didn't take our word for it, and worse sent us the courier's photo as proof of delivery - although we had around 15 boxes delivered. The insinuation was not lost on us ie. that we had received the goods and were trying to get more free product. It isn't a logical argument as we wouldnt want 4 mattress covers, and further given that our spend was thousands of dollars $75 on protectors which most likely cost $15 isn't logical. We are honourable and honest people, and do not need to engage in theft. After numerous emails wasting time and insisting that the error was ours, we got a reluctant refund as if they had given us a gift. As we never received the products actually all they were doing was giving us our money back. Me and my wife are doctors and business people, and this is not how you conduct business. Boori, you've lost us as a customer - and judging by your 3.5 star reviews it seems you have bigger problems to come.

Been ghosted by customer service. Seems it's a pretty consistent message from people that have damaged / faulty products and try to seek a replacement.

Excellent Customer Service
Ordered the Boori toy cabinet and revolving bookcase - both arrived the next day. Unfortunately, the bookcase was damaged on arrival, but after contacting customer service, a replacement was sent out and delivered within two days. Really impressed with the fast and helpful service from Rochelle!
Wonderful Natti Bedside Bed
We just bought the Boori Natti Bedside Bed and it’s wonderful!
I did check Trust Pilot before buying and was slightly put off by the negative reviews for Boori but I just couldn’t find another bed which ticked all the boxes so “risked” it.
I was so pleasantly surprised, I ordered at 9pm at night and it was despatched the next day, arriving the day after with a courier who allowed me to adjust delivery options should I need to.
It arrived in perfect condition and looks beautiful and most importantly is sturdy.
I put it together with my partner and although the instructions were a little tricky to decipher at times, I think this is the case with most flat pack furniture, if you’re used to assembling things yourself you shouldn’t have a problem and once you’ve figured it out it’s actually pretty easy and the fittings are smart and user friendly.
I’m really happy with the bed, not only is it aesthetically pleasing, the design is well thought out with curved corners to avoid nasty bangs if collided with, and the option to remove the sides when you’re ready to transition. It’s also slightly bigger than most toddler beds so it means it will last that bit longer too.
The website states that it is a custom mattress size by Boori but the mattress was a bit on the expensive side for us so we decided to see if a more standard 160x80 would fit and it did…I’m sure it’s not advised by the retailer but if like us you’re on a budget it was helpful to find other options.
I wanted to leave this review for anyone who like me really loved the furniture but was put off by the complaints. I would definitely buy from them again!

Great way to start a conversation
Several ignored emails later I called to be treated incredibly disrespectfully by someone called Vanessa who is a Director of the business. She did not apologise once for the inconvenience of having a completely smashed bed delivered and talked to me like I was crazy for suggesting they should refund me because ‘it’s only broken that’s a delivery issue not a quality issue’
Apparently they are sending a. Replacement but I will see if it turns up - and they do not collect the damaged goods - I am welcome to dispose of them

Customer service seemed good and reassured me replacement parts would be sent within a few days but have since ghosted me.
Approaching a month later, with a wife quickly approaching due date we are still out of pocket, without what we paid for.
Gave them a chance to solve before leaving a review but must warn others!

Terrible from start to finish
Terrible from start to finish. Delivery times and item description both wrong. Seven weeks after purchase Boori Customer Service agrees the item dimensions listed on their website are not accurate, and offer a refund. Now over two months and I am still trying to get my refund from the Boori Refund Team.

Returns "are the responsibility of the customer" and their charges are ridiculous. So it's not worth risking buying anything from here.
Bunk Bed - Poor quality and bad customer service
I purchased a bunk bed from Boori and three long pieces were clearly bowed. The top back panel and 2 front side rails were clearly not up to specification. Contacted the customer service and they only accepted to replace 2 out of three damaged parts. Clearly, their philosophy is that if it is defective, so long as it is not too defective, one must accept it. Tried to explain that this is not an acceptable policy and they kept repeating the same things over and over like a pre-recorded message. Very disappointed in their quality and customer service.

I wish I had read these reviews before ordering anything from this company. I don’t know how companies are allowed to exist without having someone you can contact. I have been emailing for 2 weeks as the slats we received for the bunk bed ordered do not fit the width of the bed. They refuse to call and speak to you in person and on sending new slats which are exactly the same and still don’t fit, I was sent the instruction manual and that the factory have said they do fit. THEY ABSOLUTELY DO NOT FIT! This is so infuriating and my son hasn’t had a bed to sleep on for 2 weeks now! Do not order anything from this company.

Absolutely shockingly slow and poor customer service. I just can't believe the treatment I'm receiving. After realising a mattress delivered last year was faulty, it has been returned and now trying to chase for a refund is so painful and frustrating. I will definitely be taking up further of I haven't heard from them by today.

Absolutely abysmal customer service
Absolutely abysmal customer service - they just do not answer the telephone or respond to emails. It’s actually astounding that a company can be so completely disrespectful of customers. The cots are not cheap, but the customer service is absolutely non existent. We have been chasing a refund now for over three weeks.
Absolutely useless
Absolutely useless. Ordered a cot mattress on 31/12 and no communication from them at all. it is now 28/01 and still nothing despite chasing this up.
They dont advertise a phone number, and when you find it, you will get BT Call Minder!!!! oh and you cant leave a message either because it is FULL!!
As it stands, I have nothing for my baby to sleep on tomorrow.

Ordered $1000 worth of bed in 2 December. At 28 January, it's still yet to arrive. No follow up, I'm needing to chase them every step of the way. Terrible customer service.
