It's a scam!!!
They charged me for an extra item that I didn't have in my cart and didn't PAY for!
I'm not even sure if what I paid for will arrive at all!
I emailed, and they replied saying, "Sorry, we already dispatched the items," and some other lies, even though I emailed way before their reply.
On their website, there are icons to follow on social media, but it only leads to the website again.

Bondi Babes is a scam - Beware! I was charged extra for a product which I did not order and have not received. I contacted them instantly and was given endless excuses for why they couldn't cancel the "order".
One month later I am still waiting for my refund. Daily emails are ignored or responded with a generic response.

Yes I have had same issue with the special they had on, then tried to take extra 49.95. Lucky cause I only put exact money into that account when I buy something so they have not been able to take it. I have since cancelled that card. Yes definitely trying to fool people and not honest about it. I also did not receive any contact about having to pay the extra, they just tried to take it, they can keep product and refund my money, but reading reviews that could take forever. They said they have sent my product already so couldnt cancel. So I will see if it arrives.

I would not recommend this company.

I paid the advertised $99, and the product I received was flimsy, poor quality, and nothing like it was advertised. It was very disappointing and did not meet my expectations.Shortly afterwards, I noticed attempts to withdraw $24.95 from my account every day without my authorisation. I never knowingly agreed to these ongoing daily charges.I have had to contact my bank and take steps to stop the attempted payments. This has been extremely frustrating and has caused unnecessary stress.Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to read the terms and conditions very carefully before providing their payment details and to monitor their bank statements closely.

Advertising a little misleading, however. Product is great! Gonna take some practice but gives so much volume!! Love it

I ordered the product for the advertised price and was charged extra without my approval for 2 styling barrels (they are shown in the box when you order it). Also when I did receive my product I had seen reviews after I ordered it, so when it came I tried the barrels and they don’t automatically wind your hair as shown in their advertisement. I have been back and forward with lots of emails but only offered 10% or a store credit.

Beware of the overwhelmingly positive Instagram comments and misleading social media advertisements. I was charged an additional AUD $39.95 for “curls”, which was never clearly disclosed anywhere during the purchase process.

When the product arrived, it turned out to be a very cheap Chinese-made item. I opened the box, saw the poor quality, and immediately submitted a return request. Despite their advertised 60-day money-back guarantee, I was told they could not accept the return because the product had been “used.” How is a customer supposed to inspect a product without opening the packaging?

Their customer service has been extremely frustrating — they avoid providing direct answers, delay responses, and constantly dodge emails.

I wasn't happy that my credit card was charged an extra $40 for products that weren't apparently included in the deal, despite being featured in the product photo, and on the box. Want to return the product for a credit. No response other than bot. Disappointing. Buyer beware!!!

Then immediately after I get confirmation for a 2nd order of 49.95 for 2 barrels. They used my visa. Unauthorised.

Do not buy. You pay $99.95 for the multi 5 in 1. Then they charge you additional $49.95 without your consent. They just take the money out. Send you two order numbers. They replied to my emails with sorry for the inconveniences. It’s false marketing and unacceptable. I have reported to ACCC.

It is so noisy that it hurt my ears, I felt like it was damaging them. 60 day try it money back guarantee is a scam. They won’t honor it if you’ve used it.

False advertising, misleading advertising and not doing what their website suggests.
The product was not to my satisfaction, I sought a return and refund which they advertise try it for 60 days, love it or your money back." This is not the case. They offered me a 20% refund due to the fact that the item was used. How else do you try a hair styler without "using it"?
Complete sham, do not buy from them. Spend the extra money buying a product from a reputable company. Poor service. Poor quality product. Red flags to anyone looking at buying from them. All reviews on their website are fake.

Didn’t realise it comes from China, promoted as a Sydney product obviously isn’t. It doesn’t work like it does in the ads and it’s actually really loud. Doesn’t curl my hair like it says it should. No I wouldn’t recommend it and I’m glad I didn’t pay $300 for it. Let’s see if I still get 20% cash back now that I’ve rated it as per their email offer.

DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR ADVERTISING. The set is NOT $99. It's an extra $39.95 for the barrels. It's in the fine print somewhere.
I asked straight away to cancel but was told it had already been dispatched. I repeatedly said I didn’t want it.
When I received it I messaged to return it. I'm still going round in circles with same requests for photo etc which I've provided. Off a 20% refund to keep it.
Said no, again same questions.
They claim there's a 60 day money back guarantee. Be prepared, they'll make it extremely difficult to return.
Never again. 2 weeks on and I still have the item.

Misleading advertising and poor customer service.

The product was advertised as a 5-in-1 set for $99.95, but after placing my order I was also charged an additional $49.95 for an attachment set that I neither ordered nor authorised. The advertising was misleading, and the subsequent communication and complaints process was disappointing. Rather than taking responsibility or resolving the issue appropriately, there was very little accountability shown.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend ordering from this company.

SCAMMERS - BUYER BE AWARE
They falsely advertise the price of the 5 in 1. I ordered this as a gift but after going through the checkout a couple of minutes later I had an additional charge of an additional $50 processed. When I emailed and questioned this they screenshoted that the curling wands were an additional cost. This is hidden in a obscure part of the website. This is a totally misleading advertisement of the cost of their product. DO NOT BUT FROM THEM. SCAMMERS
They are not from Australia but China.
When I asked to cancel my order, a day later the response was sorry this has already been shipped. I'm sure that they'll charge a lot if I want to return it.

BEWARE, you are charged additional $50 for the curling wands without notice that wasn’t advertised or confirmed. My bank has blocked my CC as they are under investigation. Bondi has responded to my email saying that they apologise for the inconvenience…. This is not an inconvenience, it’s stealing as I never consented.

Be warned : A friend bought the “Bondi babes” multistyler 5 in 1 Multistyler Pro for $99.95 so I went online and purchased it. At checkout the price was $99.95 and postage was free. When I checked my credit card I noticed there was an additional transaction of $24.90 put through for “2 curling barrels- charged separately “ along with the 99.95 charge. There were 2 invoices emailed to me also. I emailed “Bondi Babes” asking why I was charged extra when it was part of the 5 in 1 kit and was told that these barrels were part of the kit but are “charged separately “ this makes no sense to me as it was not added at the checkout .
I have asked for a full refund and they have not agreed. My friend did not have this “additional charge” for the barrels so why is it charged additionally if I had paid for the 5 in 1 Multistyler for $99.95. Not a “3 in 1 “ multistyler.
This is misleading for consumers and tricking customers into paying for something “extra” they feel they have already paid for.
I’ll be following up legally and going to Facebook with this.
Update: I was told by my bank today to cancel my credit card due to the extra charges and the extra foreign fees that were charged. The bak refunded me the extra money that was not approved- and I believe the company is being investigated for fraudulent and unethical behaviour.

Wasn't thrilled to find my order was returned and no one told me. 7 weeks later and many emails that never got replied to I finally have my order. I do have to say it is an amazing product I have loved doing my hair and experimenting with new styles.
