Terrifying

Terrifying, I got message sayign someone was coming into my home. not sure if it is a scam or not. there have been people in our area immitating tradies coming into the homes and stealing things. I called their customer support and it was excruciating!

Insanely expensive power prices

Insanely expensive increases in power prices. Utterly ridiculous. Compare your pricing with other suppliers as soon as you can to get off of Blue NRG's network. They were charging me (flat rate) just over 75c kWh and I switched to Momentum Energy for 39c kWh flat rate. There is a slightly higher daily supply charge with Momentum Energy but even with this slight supply charge increase I'm saving a HEAP of money.

The way this business is being run also seems dubious. In the past Blue NRG was required to pay over $400,000 in penalties for allegedly breaching Victorian energy rules related to guaranteed service level payments between July 2021 and June 2022.

Prior to that Blue NRG paid a penalty of over $1,500,000 after allegedly failing to surrender enough certificates to offset their liability for the 2020 compliance year under the largest energy efficiency program in the country.

Seriously avoid Blue NRG!

Check your bills

Check your bills, I have never had so much trouble with an energy supplier the consistently over charged every bill. When I left to another supplier they over charged my last bill the estimated meter read was higher than the actual meter read from my new supplier that had an extra 2 weeks electricity use on it. When I questioned it they said the bill was correct and they could do anything, after 2 months and many emails and phone calls I told them I was going to to electricity ombudsman they fix their bill and sent a new bill which was considerably less than what they had originally said I owed. So many propels just pay bills without checking, I wonder how many people they have ripped off. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Impossible to get to talk to a human

Impossible to get to talk to a human - on hold for ages - message keep repeating 'Too busy to stay on the line' over and over and over again. Sent an email and got a response 11 days later - ARRGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!

Double billed, supplied inaccurate statements. Were good until March 2025 then drove of a cliff for billing and customer service.

Over charging KWH

This company gives you an estimated bill, I changed from a previous supplier because the rates were cheaper. My electricity bill has never been more expensive than the past 3 months with this company they are charging me for 100 KWh than was used in the previous period last year. for a company that claims it saves business money this company has been costing me money.

Blue NRG have Great Customer Service and Cheaper Prices.

We have two pharmacies both signed up with Blue NRG for many years.
Yelda from Blue NRG always gives absolutely exceptional customer service and their pricing is always very competitive and cheaper than other energy providers.
They always respond when I choose to get in touch with them.
I have no hesitation in recommending Blue NRG to other prospective clients.
I have comfort each month that their pricing is very competitive and cheaper than other energy providers.

Blue NRG supporting farming

Willoway Farming was established three and a half years ago, and we used a broker to organise our electricity retailer. The broker has disappeared, but we are still with Blue NRG. Their customer support team has been exceptional, assisting us in the provision of economically priced power to our 80 NMI sites across South Australia and New South Wales. As a farming business we use plenty of power for shearing, irrigation and other activities. Blue NRG has remained price sensitive in the current market, worked with us in changing over to Smart Meters, and is currently developing a new model to reduce complexity for the payment of multiple invoices. It is our decision to continue using them as a power supplier into the future.

billing enquiy for National Energy Bill Relief program

we are one of the small business client with BlueNRG. The latest invoice told us that we have $487.5 for the National Energy Bill Relief program. As I know the maximum amount granted should be $650, we have created the billing enquiry ticket on 30 Apr 2024. It said someone will contact us within 5 business days. Oh 10 days already, no one reach us. I have email a few times, no reply as well.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. $22 a Kw???? what a scam, and when you ask them to address the problem, they have no interest. Avoid at all cost.
