Blue Lion performed at our long awaited wedding in April 2022. Amazing forever memories!!

Once our wedding venue was booked a live band was next on our list. Searching the web for hours over several days and the only band to stand out were 'Radio King' now Blue Lion.

Blue Lion added a fantastic atmosphere to our wedding night celebrations, kicking the night off singing the song to our first dance and continued throughout the night performing great song choices that kept everyone dancing. A fun night was had by all, we have had so much positive feedback from our guests.

Anyone looking for a great atmosphere and party then book BL to play at your event.

You were absolutely fantastic at our wedding. Everything was so perfect even with some last minute changes. My guests have all commented that you were the best part of the day and I am so pleased we booked with you. Thank you for everything!

Cancelling the band 8 weeks before my wedding, due to lack of explanation of the process at the beginning, and being made to feel like my wedding is just a "gig". Was made to feel like I was interfering by wanting to know the details of songs to be played on my day. Can't imagine any bride wanting songs they don't like being played on their special day.
Unfortunate that I didn't get to actually experience the band itself as seemed to have talented musicians

The blue lion band were fantastic and I couldn’t fault them in anyway. The lead up to the event they were great and kept in touch and ran through all the fine details so they new exactly what they had to do on the day.

They even helped with the speeches.

Where to begin with Blue Lion Band … the moment I got engaged I knew straight away which band I was going to book at our wedding, they were one of the first suppliers I had booked, after hearing them at my sister in laws wedding it was clear there was no other band!
Vicky and Adam played at our ceremony and oh my goodness, Vicky’s voice is just out of this world, Adam who was equally as talented played the guitar, the both of them were just amazing and I can’t thank them enough for doing such amazing job to our chosen songs. My husband, who was nervous and didn’t really take much in around him noticed and commented on how amazing they both were. At this point I had such high expectations for the evening and let me tell you, I was not disappointed!
Vicky, was lead singer, like I said before she was incredible, Adam was on guitar, the occasional guitar solo were insane. Jay on the keyboard particularly stood out to me when playing our first song, which was really special. Jaz, on bass, brought all the music together, gave it the groove. Micro on sax and Ben on trumpet, I did not know I needed this combo until I heard them, definitely worth having as part of the band! Dessie on drums, you can feel the passion he has for music in the way he plays.
Dessie was who I spoke to when booking Blue Lion Band, it was super easy, all my queries where responded to very quickly and any worries I had were sorted. Thank you to you all, I honestly can’t thank you enough, I had so many compliments on the music, the talent, I especially want to say a big thank you for taking a last minute request for spice girls, we had a lot of happy guests due to this! We never had an empty dance floor when the band played, the vibe was great, music was fantastic, I can’t sing blue lions band’s praises enough!

10/10 would recommend. From the contact before the big day, to helping with set lists and answering my many questions our experience with the Blue Lion Band was brilliant. Big shout out to Josh for all his help and patience! The band on the night were brilliant, the dance floor was never empty, they got everyone involved and played some absolute bangers. Who'd have thought a cover of Baby One More Time would be such a hit! It was the best day ever, thank you so much!

We were one of many couples effected by Covid-19. However, that seems to long ago now after the most perfect of wedding days. A huge part of that was the amazing Blue Lion Band. Dessie was fantastic to to deal with. His positive and knowledgeable approach was perfect. His enthusiasm was infectious.

We ended up going for a bigger band than expected after attending one of the show cases, but was our own decision, we were not pushed in any way at any time to do so. Dessie listened carefully to what we wanted, and tailored the perfect band for us.

On the day, the band arrived and set up without us even noticing they were there... and then they started. They were even better than we remembered or could have dreamed about. Every single guest commented that they were the best wedding band they had even seen or heard.

We love our day, and the Blue Lion Band were a huge part of that!

Blue Lion Band are incredible and were the perfect wedding band!
A band was really important to us and we enquired with a lot, they were by far the most professional, easy to deal with, helpful band. Dessie is brilliant and their online management system is perfect.
Brilliant value for money as on the day the band was amazing!!! Cocktail drinks and party music later were so good, including all the songs we said we like. They made our first dance so special and our guests haven’t stopping raving about them.
I would book them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend.

Absolutely incredible! You cannot fault this band for anything! They kept in touch they were very nice when we had to move the date due to covid. Music was on point, they were involving. You will not find a better band 10/10 we will definitely have them back.

We had Blue Lion Band for our wedding in the New Forest and they were amazing! Tom and Team from the Southampton crew were so easy to work with as well as just being fantastic musicians and lovely people!

From the first moment to the last, this band were incredible. We went all out with an 11 piece and we are so glad we did. All band members were high energy and enthusiastic. They played the music we love and even learned some special songs for us as well as our unusual first dance. The brass section had some cool dance moved and at one point were even playing whilst jumping up and down! I mean, how do you even do that!? Our guests haven't stopped raving about them. Highly recommended.

We recently had the Blue Lion Band at our wedding. I cannot overstate the supreme quality of their music, their utmost professionalism, their unbelievable value for money, or the incredible atmosphere they provided. I can honestly say that they were the most important single piece of the puzzle that day , and easily the most memorable to our guests. Dessie was the absolutely lovely gentleman we interacted with as our point of contact. We were very tight for time but he never made us feel that we were putting him under pressure. I asked him to help me with a surprise for my wife and her did it gladly. In fact, I was shocked on the day to see that Dessie was an incredible drummer and vocalist, and his performance for our surprise song gave us all goosebumps. We were just so happy with the vocalists and instrumentalists and we will never ever forget these guys. We are very grateful to them and always will be. Hire this band if you want professional but easy going individuals who can really get the party started but also provide whatever atmosphere or vibe you want. You will not regret hiring the Blue Lion Band.

People who have never danced in their lives couldn't resist getting on the dance-floor for Blue Lion Band at our wedding! They were sensational. Brilliantly talented musicians, sequenced the sets and tunes for maximum energy, and supremely organised in the run-up. Our guests were raving! Many, many thanks.

Fantastic band -- we hired them for our wedding reception and couldn't have been happier with the experience. From answering our pre-event questions, to curating timings and playlists to suit our vision, through to the actual execution, the band (& Cici in particular) were brilliant throughout. Would highly recommend, and hire again for any future events we required entertainment for!

Blue Lion Band performed at our wedding in March and we couldn't have been any happier with how it went. The communication in the lead up to the day was great and they really took the time to understand our likes and dislikes. We used The Blue Lion Band for our wedding in Feb 2020. Everything was so easy in the lead up to the big day. Letting them know our preferences in music, Dessie and the rest of the team absolutely smashed it. Everyone loved the band and we’ve received so many compliments, even from our venue! If you’re after a brilliant live band for your event, these guys should be first on your list. Would and have recommended to anyone who is looking for a live band.
