Booked a two week holiday to Maldives back in 2021 ready for 2025, direct debit payments were taken, had copies of flight details etc, everything looked great. Circs changed and I lost my job, been in contact when they can be bothered to reply, since August 2023 trying to get a refund on the £2300 we’ve paid and it’s sat there doing nothing, we cancelled the holiday in May 2022, and it’s excuse after excuse, sick and tired of this, disgraceful company and no help at all with regards getting the money back I’ve paid in advance for the holiday, ignore my emails, txt on Facebook messenger and WhatsApp. NEVER trust this company.

I had booked my flight tickets from my end and my payment had gone through but this company never booked it through airline and I was shocked to know this after few days so I asked them why my ticket was never booked he said there were some error so I dint feel safe and asked him to refund my amount , first they said I can’t refund the amount ryt away they asked me for one months time I said okay after that few months later I had to call n ask them to give my money they said the company dint pay them n after few day I called n fired them up they gave my money but still few amount is left I am so helpless that I am being asking for my own money from past 8 months . I don’t have words to describe but feel sad to see how they eat ppls hard earned money .

We booked a holiday back in March to leave in 2 weeks (Christmas) to the Maldives. Paid over 10k for the holiday. After chasing them for our travel documents for the last week, we became very perturbed as we kept getting fobbed off. I then decided to ring the hotel only to be told that our reservation hadn’t been paid for so had been cancelled, I then spoke to the airline.. same story our flights had been cancelled as payment hadn’t been received. We have tried to speak to Ben apparently ‘the manager’ who never returns calls , James on annual leave and Eddie who cannot access any information on the system. This isn’t the last they’ll hear about this as like other reviews below we will be taking this further !!!

Booked and paid for flights in the first week of January and received, what I believed to be, airline check in codes. Tried to check in 48 hrs before with no luck. Tried 24 hours before again without luck so I called Blueberry Travels. They said the flight had been cancelled. I called the airline and they said it was still operating. I rang blueberry back and they changed their story to “the airline had cancelled 26 tickets and mine were 2 of them “.
They then claimed they were trying to get us other flights, so I called them another 4-5 times over the next 2 days. In the end I booked my flight directly with another airline.
As suggested by them, I put in writing to them that I wanted a full refund but that was never acknowledged. I had and kept WhatsApp messages between us along with their website chat message, luckily, as they never responded or confirmed back by email.
Their staff all had very British names like James, Aaron, Ryan and Ben but strangely James was never available and the others had very strong accents!!
I managed to claim back via my credit cards but only because I had kept the WhatsApp messages whereby they blamed the airline. They also stated here that they do not receive money back from the airline but credit notes which they use against the tickets being booked and paid for by their customers. I queried the amount of time I might have to wait which they obviously couldn’t tell me.
I called and WhatsApp them on my return but neither call was answered and I’m guessing because they recognised my number so I went straight to the credit card and the dispute department.

What good can I say about this company.. Not a word, lies from the very beginning contact was made, Thank fully I had the balls to take them to court and yes the CCJ they now have is down to me. No flight was ever booked, and the lies continued with less than 3 hours to departure, putting the blame on the airline was low and even the Qunatas staff told me the ticket was a fake, Had to instruct solicitors and enforcement officers to assist. Common sense was upheld and the owner paid up after being confronted with enforcement officers at his door step, paid all my court costs, Solicitors fees and Enforcement officers costs. My only advise here is do not trust this firm with any of your money, find a decent company that do not lie, and a ATOL certificate is not worth the paper It is written on, keep this in your bathroom just in case you run out of toilet paper as that is all it useful for.

Worst experience in booking a holiday ever!
A week before departure stated that we had additional unforeseen taxes and unless we paid, we would lose the holiday even though we had paid in full, and they wouldn’t refund our money. Tickets showed the taxes were less than what they charged and on arrival at the hotel, found out that they had booked us an extra room which we couldn’t get a refund for. Transpires that the flight tickets were booked through a different travel agent named Bright Sun Travel who appear legit - blueberry seemed to have not booked our flights on time and made us pay again.
We got the holiday but the amount of stress that they placed on us, totally ruined my experience and having to pay an additional third of our original costs was disgusting.
Company is also linked to Hyper Air Travel so avoid them too.
Avoid at all costs!

Booked with this so called company at end of 2022 as part of a group booking… they then decided to put the price up 1 week before departure even though I had paid as apparently we had missed the deadline of payment…which is a lie,they ignored my emails of payment request on purpose so they could charge more! we were stuck as if we didn’t pay,then holiday would be cancelled! This is the worst company I have EVER dealt with,no customer service skills! All they want is money and unable to provide a service! This company should be shut down! DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!

AVOID!! Terrible company! Never had such bad service. Stolen our money!! We booked our wedding/honeymoon in 2021 and knew the rate would go up slightly as we booked in advance before the rates came out. After chasing and chasing them for several months for the correct rate they came back 6 months before the travel date and increased the price by £2500! 25% more than the original quote. By law they have to refund us the full amount if the increase is more than 8% if we choose not to proceed. Requested our money back and they refused trying to charge us £1200 cancellation fees! They are now not taking our calls, replying to emails or letters and have our £5000! Thieves!! We are now taking legal action against the company to get OUR £5000 back!! Avoid at all costs!!

Best travel agent I’ve ever booked with. They sorted my honeymoon for me last year and this year my dive holiday. I missed my flight and once I had told them they took ownership of everything. Excellent service. I found tickets around £200 cheaper with Blueberry compared to some of the known agents. They were efficient and sent blmy etickets within less than 24 hours. I would recommend them to everyone for cheaper tickets and high quality services.
