Justin made the whole thing really easy. Everything was booked and paid within half an hour. I shall definitely be using again

Blueberry Travel have been horrendous.

Everything was ok until after we had made our final payment.

They then booked the flights. ON THE WRONG DAY.

We should have flown to The Maldives (as stated on all of their paperwork to us) on Monday 10th Oct 2022, The day after our wedding, but they made an error and booked the flight on the 11th Oct not the 10th……

We spotted this immediately from their booking confirmation and contacted them immediately.

They then started with a series of lies to us about how it was “the airline's mistake”, then it was “a booking agent middle man” who had made the mistake. They assured us that they would sort things out and that "we would fly on the 10th" as they had said. "Just give us time to sort it".

After another week, and constantly being asked by them to give them more and more time, we gave up and contacted the airline directly, only to be told by the airline that Blueberry Travel had actually made the flight booking and ONLY THEY could change it. Not us. We had no ability to amend the booking, only the company who made the booking could change it. We did check and there were plenty of seats available on the flight on Monday 10th Oct, so it wasn't that that flight was full.

When we told Blueberry Travel this, they finally admitted that it was indeed their mistake, but they were "not prepared to change the incorrect flight" as it “would cost them too much money”, therefore we would only be getting 13 days of our 14 day holiday.....

We then pointed out that if we were to accept this situation, we would incur costs to change our airport parking (£20) plus the cost of a hotel room near the airport as our house was occupied with the family who were house sitting for us (£160) Blueberry Travel told us they would “sort this out and pay our costs” THEY HAVE NOT. They also offered us a “romantic meal for two on the beach” to apologise which they would book with the resort. WE RECEIVED NOTHING.

When we refused to accept the flight on the 11th and asked them to change the flight to the 10th so we could fly on the correct day, they THREATENED (and screamed and shouted at us over the phone) that if we didn’t accept the flight on the 11th that they had booked incorrectly, then they would “CANCEL OUR HOLIDAY” and we would “LOOSE EVERYTHING”.......!!!!

We felt we had been backed into a corner and had had no choice but to accept the flights as booked by them, or like they threatened, “Loose everything”.

There was also some confusion as to which Island we were actually going to.

In June 2022, Blueberry Travels informed us that we were not going to the island we had booked as it was being closed for a refurb. They had moved us to another island. Because of the debacle with the wrong flights being booked, this meant we would arrive a day later than the island was expecting us, so we contacted them (where we thought we were going), only to be told by them that they had no record of our booking…… As you might imagine, this didn’t exactly fill us with confidence. The island did however email us back 2 days later to inform us that we were in fact booked on the original island (that should have been closed but wasn't). We had heard NOTHING from Blueberry Travel about this.

When we eventually arrived in Malé airport, we were given paperwork to fill in, for the replacement island, and NOT the actual island. We pointed this out to a very confused representative who made a few phone calls and managed to sort things out. Only then were we informed that we had not been booked on a seaplane transfer. However, this was sorted out by the island's representatives, but just one more mess created by this incompetent travel agents.

So, please do yourselves a favour, and avoid this company.

Anyone can make a mistake, but it's how you correct that mistake that is important.

But surely, you don’t correct your mistakes by; lying to your customers, shouting at them over the phone, and / or threatening them. Nor do you do that by offering to book a private meal (THAT NEVER HAPPENED), offering to cover the costs of the parking change and the extra hotel (THAT NEVER HAPPENED). They did also offer us a £100 voucher off our next booking with them which we politely declined…….. I THINK NOT.

1 week before our wedding, my (now) wife was ill in bed with the stress caused by this incompetent company.

After trawling through the internet for hours he was like a breath of fresh Air !!

James is great! Full of assurance and very knowledgeable answering all my questions confidently and getting me the best flight he could find in these very difficult times with extreme price hikes by the airlines!! Thank you James, I'll recommend you to my friends.

I had to travel from the UK to Ghana in January 2022 for an important assignment by a late father-figure at very short notice.

Betty Jones was our primary contact, Betty listened to our requirements and created the perfect honeymoon for us and was very patient as we made changes to upgrading flights and a weekend stay over in Dubai that we asked for just before we left the Maldives.
Throughout she was very friendly, polite and knowledgeable. Betty came highly recommended from a friend and lived up to our friends plaudits. I would highly recommend Betty for booking your holiday and we will be asking Betty to book all our holidays going forward.

We’ve booked a year in advance to go to the Maldives, I was advised to take advantage of the payment plan, that I have never done before. So Blueberry Travel set a S/O for us, so we didn’t realise we paid it of so quickly. Every question I asked was answered asap, nothing was to much trouble from start to finish, and aftercare was outstanding to. They filled in the health form and checked us in 24 hours before our flight, so we flew through departures. On our homecoming, they again checked us in and filled the health form out. We had no problems whatsoever, it was everything we was told it was going to be and more.

I just got back from the Sun Siyam Olhuveli resort in Maldives, spent 7 days with my wife on our honeymoon, which was arranged by Blueberry travels. I happened upon this travel agency on instagram, and from the outset, the attention from the staff members gained my trust, and thanks especially to Betty, who is always online (Whatsapp) to attend IMMEDIATELY to requests- Remarkable!!!

From a flexible payment structure, to effortless processing of required travel documents including flight tickets and timely check-in, with reliable partners who picked us up at Malè international airport and transferred us to the resort, the experience with Blueberry travels has been a very satisfying one, and indeed, the whole experience at the resort. I intend to watch the World Cup in Qatar later this year, and I am sure Blueberry travels will offer me a great experience once more.

Well, what can I say! Fantastic from start to booking of our holiday. We liaised with James over WhatsApp who’s communication was quick, understanding and very knowledgeable. Our itinerary was Dubai and The Maldives, 4 people, end of July 2023. Lots of packages compiled by James, different dates/hotels/islands/duration/prices etc etc. A lot of backwards and forwards to James on our behalf, it’s the most we have ever paid on a holiday so needed it to be right. James was so patient, very quick to respond to me, very knowledgeable and genuinely wanted to help. It took us about a week to decide to book the holiday, there was no pressure to book, no hassling, we were allowed to take our time.
Prices are very very competitive, I also went to a friend who is a Travel Consultant and she couldn’t come close to the price Blueberry Travel were offering.
On booking, it was easy to pay our deposit to secure and lock in the holiday and price and we opted to have a Customer Tailored payment plan. Instant email confirmation of deposit payment, holiday itinerary and flight times.
Cannot fault the customer service so far and would highly recommend.

My husband and I booked our Honeymoon in the Maldives through Blueberry travels and we are very pleased with the service they provided. Ryan was very helpful with suggestions on which resorts to stay as we wanted to visit two islands. They are also very responsive on WhatsApp and answered all of our questions and we are considering to use Blueberry travels for our next trip as well.
