Amazing customer service in Bullring store. Didn’t get her name but she was so kind and wore a black bandana

I usually visit this store Tottenham Court Road in the summer i didnt realise as 8t was warm weather that the ice is to the rim of the glass but as I visited in the colder days I requested for no ice they said its the company policy they have to give ice i was shocked I even told them I jave a sore throat but I was still given ice to the brim I was so angry instead my daughter drank it I visited a few weeks later T4 they were so good comparing to Blank Street as they gave me a large Matcha without ice and it was nice and cold wont ever go to Blank street again

Zugab Marian tasnim were absolutely amazing at serving me today. I had an absolutely exquisite time today. Definitely coming back.

Terrible coffee, I sent it back - undrinkable, no hot chocolate. app no longer working.

1st visit to the bullring store. I ordered and paid for a skinny flat white (i had to settle for semi skimmed milk). After too long a wait, I was offered only full fat; disappointing.

I had a really unpleasant experience at the Blank Street King’s Cross store on 18/10/2025 around 8:50pm. I’d travelled quite far to treat myself, but when I arrived I urgently needed the toilet. Even though the store didn’t close until 9pm, the toilets had already been cleaned and locked early. Staff refused to let me use them, even after I explained my situation.

They offered me a refund since I wouldn’t have been able have my drink and travel all the way home needing the toilet, but then one of the young male staff members started giving me attitude and speaking to me sarcastically. He even asked if I’d still want to use the toilet “if it wasn’t clean” — yes, I would have, because I was desperate. Instead of being understanding, he continued to argue and was really rude until I left the store feeling upset and angry.

As a regular Blank Street customer, I found this behaviour completely unacceptable. Toilets should not be closed before the store itself closes, and staff should treat customers with basic respect. Some people, like myself, have medical conditions that make access to toilets important.

A completely wasted trip and a horrible experience — I won’t be returning to this location.

Both stores in Manchester City Centre have the worst service extremely slow staff who don't care about customer service. Very unprofessional would rather have a queue going out the door and customers leaving before ordering because of the long wait times.

Rude, arrogant, unprofessional staff with no manners, low hygiene. The bad attitude of one of the staff at Nothing hill gate branch, ruined my day

The product are really good but the customer service is absolutely horrendous! There are so much staff in each store and they are always on their phones or chatting to one another instead of serving people in line. Additionally, there is no respect for customers time. I just left a store waiting 3-4 minutes before someone even said hi to me to then let me know that they were out of matcha. Honestly it is such a joke which is such a shame given that the products are amazing.

I was looked down upon a friend when I chose another coffee chain over blank street coffee when we met. Hence, out of curiosity, I decided to visit the place. To be honest, all the portion sizes are huge. They don't even have one item that you can buy with coffee that is not a huge portion size (think abt keeping a biscotti or a small shortbread ). Have been there twice and the Baristas always fill the coffee upto the brim of the cup :(
