I ordered cleaning products that unfortunately were not delivered by DPD, they said they made 3 attempts but actually only made one.
I contacted Bissell who said I would receive a full refund, however they only gave me a partial refund, no explanation, nothing.
I have contacted Bissell Customer Services several times now to ask for the rest of my refund & they are basically ignoring my emails & nor responding.
Very disappointed in their Customer Service & I will never purchase anything from them again.
Ordered a carpet cleaner and went to check delivery as it still had not been delivered. It was said to be refused.
I was home & have a 24/7 concierge so this is impossible. Bissell/the shipping company DPD never sent an offer to schedule said ‘missed delivery’. Instead, when I checked the delivery tracking it was already en route back to bissell. The customer service team said there was nothing they could do and the work process a refund when it’s received.
This is time wasted (about two weeks) and poor service. I just bought a shark!
I have always had fabulous customer service if needed from Bissell over 44yrs using their products, always very satisfied products last years and do the job!!.My sweeper finally bit the dust recently after 13yrs excelkent service,so I needed a replacement light everyday hoover as im getting older and the Featherweight is perfect. Customer services highlighted it to me , they were so right !!
This little beauty is an absolute GEM! I needed something light, compact, sturdy and good looking and this wee hoover has it all. I have to have something light and maneuverable as I have back issues and am getting older so I don't have the power in my arms as I used to. I can use featherweight ( i have called her "Belle" ) all over the house and on the stairs with easy and it slips under things which saves bending alot. The suction is really powerful , on thin pile carpet you do need to push a little , but it really gets up dust and fibers leaving pile lifted up nicely, its super on wood and laminate slick and quick , also brings long pile rugs in the lounge up great. Its so easy to take off the bin section, remove the neat washable filter and tip dust and debris into the bin, then your ready to go again. Very easy to change to crevice tool and takes a second to take off the stick handle and use on furniture or car as a hand held with power , really cleans inside car well. There is a nice catch fitted to the plug so when the flex, is wrapped up on the clips on the back you can clip the pug on to keep it safe and tidy. Its a really low tone hoover noise so not so intrusive as others I have had. Needless to say im thrilled with Belle and would reccomend a Featherweight to anyone either as an extra to have around for portability or if in say caravan or small home as your main cleaner, it definately does the job for a great value price point , in my view. Well done again Bissell I never buy any other cleaning brand.
I wish I had never bought this product. All it does is glide and float above my floor with out doing anything meaningful. It is now where it belongs in the local rubbish tip. For anyone still languishing in the hope that there is a product that will clean porcelain tiled floors then look no further than the Karcher FC7 which is such a joy to use. You live and learn
I purchased a Stainpro 6 carpet cleaner in 2021, it came with a 5 year guarantee. I used it once in 2022 and again in 2024 then again last week. It was working okay for about 10 minutes when it stopped spraying liquid. I followed the trouble shooting in the manual and videos on YouTube and their website. I called them and to cut a long story short, I ended up with so many emails because they'd not taken down my details properly, I had to email proof of purchase which I did, but was told it hadn't been received when I called them again. I was then told that the guarantee was for 3 years and not 5 years, I then had to email proof that it was for 5 years. I was told that I was going to be sent a replacement water tank, but that wasn't the case when I later found out that my model is discontinued and there's no spare parts. I was then told that I had to return the entire cleaner without the tools, but I didn't have the box that I'd recycled in 2022 when I'd first used it, I was told that I'd have to find a box. I was emailed a return label, but I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to find a box due to the size and weight of this item. It's been a nightmare experience and I'll never buy anything Bissell again. I'm in the process of making a complaint. Lastly, the first call agent sounded as if he was still in bed and was yawning down the phone, the second call agent was coughing down the phone. Again, a nightmare experience.

Still getting nowhere after contacting them 6 times in total. My complaint has apparently been escalated, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
Discounts don't work. I could not access 4 for 3 discount as offered . I then tried the offered senior discount which although accepted and verified by Bissell didn't work either. These discounts are a con... Don't bother
The item couldn't be assembled because of a faulty/wrong part. The box says contact them instead of returning to the shop, but the contact form on the website returns an error message and the helpline is a premium rate number.
Do not buy.
Paid over £300 for a “pet” carpet cleaner and it failed in under 2 years. The trigger mechanism no longer opens the water valve, so the machine simply does not spray water when assembled normally. Also, had to replace the brush belt almost immediately after purchase.
This is not heavy-use capable, despite the marketing. It’s disposable plastic engineering sold at a premium price.
If you have pets, avoid. You’ll be replacing it long before you expect.
Appalling so called 'customer service' has left me out of pocket. I would not recommend buying directly from Bissell.
I’ve had my Bissell CrossWave Cordless Max for barely a year, and it has already stopped working properly.
The main issue is that it no longer sucks the dirty water back up into the container, which is the whole point of the machine. It still runs, but it leaves dirty water on the floor instead of extracting it, making it pretty much unusable.
I’ve contacted Bissell customer support, but so far I haven’t had a response, which is really disappointing given the cost of the machine and the fact it should still be under warranty.
For a premium product, I expected much better reliability and aftercare. At this stage, I can’t recommend it unless Bissell step in and resolve the issue quickly.
I ordered a steam cleaner over 4 weeks ago. The website stated it would be sent out the next day, but I have still received nothing.
This company has no email, only WhatsApp support. I’ve contacted them nine times through WhatsApp and have been repeatedly told someone would get back to me but no one ever does. I have also spent hours on the phone, only for the call to eventually cut off every time.
There has been no tracking, no update, no explanation, and no resolution. I have now requested a refund as the order has not been delivered within a reasonable timeframe, but even that is being ignored.
Extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I’m now taking this further with my bank and consumer protection channels. Leaving this review so others are aware before ordering
The past 3rd of December I made an order and paid online, since them I have not got any information about when my order is going to be delivered, my emails are not responded and I would like to get a refund.
Bought the Bissell Crosswave floor cleaner and pleased with it. But, glad I bought if from John Lewis as you can trust their customer service. However, ordered the specific cleaning solution and replacement brush from Bissell. Chased 10 days later and finally got a response to say all products out of stock and so would do a refund in 3 - 5 working days! How can a company sell a product without the things that make it work?! Are they going bust? Will I get my refund? Be wary!
I ordered a small appliance from Bissell UK using a discount code from the product page. A few days after placing the order, I received a refund through PayPal but no information at all from Bissell. I emailed CS to ask for more information - no reply. Waited another day to two and tried to reorder using the same discount code before the end of the sale period, and it is no longer valid.
I trusted that this transaction would be straightforward because of the Bissell name, but so far I'm left disappointed.

Bissell have refused to offer any raincheck or assurance that the offer would be honoured in future. I purchased the item at a specific price when it was listed as In Stock. Disappointed.
Leeking. My spot cleaner is leaking after contact with customer service they send me new container for clean water. What not change anything I want to return item but I can't 89£ lost... And still not cleaner
I’ve had a bissel product before so ordered a new one after the part I needed for my old model is now discontinued, however it never arrived. I would advise that they do not use DPD for their courier services, they have no common sense and then block your number from contacting them to find out where your item is. Even provided them with what3words location and they still send a picture of a random house, absolutely shocking.
BISSELL ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro (Carpet Cleaner)
I bought the "carpet cleaner" from Amazon, seeing all the great reviews but I was shocked by it's performance.
Pros!
1 - Easy to maneuverer.
2 - Great Built.
3 - Decent number of accessories.
4 - Great to clean the rugs.
Cons!
1 - It left black marks on our carpet.
2 - Doesn't dry in 30 minutes.
3 - Had to clean over and over again on very basic stains to eventually get rid of them.
4 - One of the attachment was pretty difficult to put back together so I left it as I didn't want to break it.
5 - Extremely loud, a lot more than VAX carpet cleaner that I tried last year.
I will definitely not recommend it to anyone.
I bought a Bissell carpet cleaner after hearing so many great things about the brand and how reliable their products were. At first, I was really happy with it — it did a good job cleaning and was easy enough to use. However, after using it maybe ten times total, it suddenly started giving off a burning smell and then completely cut out.
I always took good care of it, cleaned it after each use, and stored it properly, so I was really disappointed that it stopped working so soon, especially for how little it was used. For the price, I expected it to last much longer. I wish I had done more research beforehand because it seems like I’m not the only one who’s had issues with Bissell machines not lasting very long.
Overall, it worked well while it lasted, but the lifespan was far too short to recommend.
Ordered my BISSELL CrossWave on Sunday with “Next Working Day Delivery.”
It’s now nearly Christmas, and honestly, Kevin the Carrot’s had a faster journey from Aldi HQ to my TV than my order’s had from BISSELL to my door. 🎅🥕
Got an email saying it was “out for delivery,” which is adorable considering DPD shows it never left the warehouse. By the time it finally moved, it went on a festive road trip… straight back to BISSELL.
Every phone call brought a new Christmas tale: one said “it’s coming today,” another said “by the end of the week,” and someone else promised a refund (which, like Santa, I’m still waiting to see).
Everyone said BISSELL’s customer service was wonderful — but mine’s been more Silent Night than Joy to the World.
All I want for Christmas is the product I paid for — actually delivered — and maybe a little goodwill to match all the goodwill I’ve had to show waiting for it. 🎁
I have the upright and pet pro spot clan carpet washers .
Recently i had a small issue with the pet pro washer , contacted customer service who immediately arranged for the washer to be returned and serviced.
From the moment that it was received on their end I had tracking throughout the entire process.
Can’t fault this service and thank you bissell .
It’s been fixed and sent out all within a week .
Fantastic service all round .
