Disappointed as not what they seem
Although I feel my initial consultation went well , the support leading up to my blood test was poor.
Bio ID promote themselves on tailored care compared to NHS standard one size fits all. Yet when presented with a case like mine where my cycle is unpredictable they still want to do a bloodtest on a standard day that would more than likely give a false idea of what my hormones are at at any one given time. I paid for my test upfront but when asking what day should I do the test as my cycle isn't 28 days and can vary from month to month , they just wanted to do it at day 18-20m I explained but if I do this test and then my cycle starts on day 21 how will my results be correct and how can you then prescribe me accordingly. I got no response. I then decided to ask for a refund which they gladly accepted. I feel they dont want a complex case , they just want easy standard cases. This doesn't line up with them promoting themselves to be any different from the NHS. I am now still struggling on nhs hrt and feel lost for support. I really thought I had found the right company but at the end of the day they are all a business and the main goal is to make money and not really care. So disheartening that theres no real help out there , even when you pay.

What is the point of answering a questionnaire
This is not my first rodeo with private treatment for trt I took it for 5 years until last July when a firm on the south coast just didn’t care. So to put my health first again it was either BioID or Voy. Sadly I now wish I had picked Voy. Completed questionnaire for BioID paid for a blood test kit,received it, sent the bloods back no results provided at all just an impersonal email and statement from BioID (no phone call) they stated having checked you questionnaire in detail you now need to do another set of bloods £££££££. This industry is littered with cowboys I was hoping BioID would be different and personal. I Will be touching base with Dr Jeff now at Voy today he knows his stuff and will not be reaching deep into my pocket for countless blood tests and dragging out my much needed treatment which Wes Streeting NHS will not provide me with due to a post lottery not to be confused with the ad on the TV.

Going through my blood test results I feel happier
Having Carla go through my blood test results thoroughly really helped me to understand what is going on inside my body and if I am higher or lower with certain hormones, as well as other levels in my body. I feel rest assured I will be getting the best service and medication in order to help me feel like myself again and stop the symptoms of perimenopause.

From my first consultation with Lisa she listened to everything that I had been through. I have spent a absolute fortune on alternatives, seeing specialists regarding menopause but not one has been like Bio ID
Bio ID is up there as a first class service. Providing you with the correct up to date information to make an informed choice.
Most of all getting a thorough baseline of where you are at re blood test.
Then creating hormones and vitamins to you own individual needs.
This has never been performed for me and this has failed me on living a so called normal life.
A phlebotomist was booked to do a home visit, now you don’t get that anywhere else.
Four days later an appointment to discuss my outcome.
A tailor made plan for you is then created based on your own results.
Where before I have been prescribed the bog standard HRT and even that was wrong.
Lisa is always there for you and that what is so reassuring to know.
You can’t put a price on health and to get your own in order to function properly is a paramount. Menopause has been a battle for me. I shall be updating again on my progress.

It's Horrible
I can say it's absolutely not acceptable.
I did payment and planning to get blood test, but by family reason I was requesting to cancelation and refund by the low with advance and it's still wail, almost 1 months to go.
I have not received anything from them, neither services, nor boxes, nor anything else, to put the refund under consideration and drag it out for so long, then they justify themselves by saying that it will take a long time between the banking system, but we all know very well that nowadays everything happens very quickly and efficiently if you want it to and make it happen.
And they are wasting time so as not to give me my money back.
So , everyone, before to do with them algo, pay treatment or test or cooperate with them - think twice, because by my experience it will be a big problem, stress and another health issue in your life.

From the initial online meeting to now taking my meds, the process has been professional and smooth. Lorraine was very helpful throughout and it’s really helpful to talk to someone who has been in the same boat. Understanding and empathy go a long way. As I live in a rural area, I even had my blood test done at home. I’ve been taking my meds for a week and my pain has reduced dramatically and my brain fog has gone. I feel I am present in life now and not watching from a distance. I can’t wait to see which symptoms reduce next. Thank you, thank you it’s good not to have to fight on your own anymore.

Extremely poor service
Extremely poor service. Multiple failed blood test appointments, constant chasing for updates, and minimal treatment provided despite paying hundreds of pounds. Communication was inconsistent, and overall the experience did not meet expectations. This is still ongoing and I have never dealt with a company with such bad customer service. We come to you for help and support but this experience has been so stressful.

Scam Upsell Sales Company
Exactly as per another review below. This is just an upsell scam company!!!
My experience exactly the same as below. Paid for a discounted rate, sent my blood in, and now expected to pay for another test, no release of results unless I pay another £150.
The company will now respond with we want to make a better clinical decision, before locking you in to a load of other rubbish. I’m well versed in my bloods, all my issues, and like the other reviewer below, can read my own bloods and make an informed decision.
I had a much better test and service from Numan, without all the rubbish responses I’ve read from the company below. I will be taking this further and reporting them as medicine and sales tactics should not be mixed with the emphasis on rip off sales.
I paid for something, provide it! It’s very straightforward.

For laboratory diagnosis of testosterone deficiency, the 2017 British Society for Sexual Medicine (BSSM) guidelines on adult testosterone deficiency require two serum testosterone measurements taken on separate occasions. These samples should ideally be collected between 7–11am and in a fasting state where possible, as testosterone levels naturally fluctuate throughout the day and can be influenced by several external factors.
For this reason, the initial blood test is designed as a screening test only. Its purpose is to identify patients who may be suitable to progress to a second, more comprehensive blood test panel. The first test alone cannot clinically diagnose testosterone deficiency, and requesting confirmation testing is a medical safeguard rather than an upsell or sales tactic. This approach ensures that any treatment decisions are made responsibly, safely, and in line with established UK clinical guidelines.
As a clinician-led HRT/TRT service focused on optimising hormone health, interpreting blood results accurately is a key part of your care. Your clinician will carefully assess your results alongside your medical history, symptoms, and current medication to provide a clear, safe, and personalised interpretation. This helps ensure that any treatment decisions or adjustments are appropriate and clinically sound, and that you have the opportunity to ask questions and fully understand what the results mean for you. For this reason, we share your blood test results with you directly following your consultation, once they have been reviewed and explained by a clinician. This approach supports safe, high-quality care and ensures you receive the most accurate and meaningful explanation of your results, rather than numbers without clinical context.
We appreciate that many patients are knowledgeable about their own health and results, and we fully respect your right to seek care through a provider that best suits your preferences. Saved My Life
I can't thank or recommend them enough. I felt like I was dying and couldn't even get an appointment for my symptoms with an NHS doctor, never mind any help or treatment.
I saw an advert on Facebook about the symptoms and I thought "Yes! That's exactly what I'm experiencing!" So I contacted them for a video consultation. They were so supportive and helpful and arranged a blood test, which we then thoroughly reviewed and set up a HRT and supplement plan. I went for the full package, as I was so impressed by them and wanted to give them and myself the best chance we could to try and get me out of the miserable, painful, foggy waking nightmare that is perimenopause.
When I say they saved my life, it's not really hyperbole.
The service they have provided me is exceptional - this is what women's healthcare can and should be like.
My symptoms have either gone completely or dramatically reduced. I was so ill before for years, it's literally been life changing for me. I have been getting treatment for about 9 months now. I'm 45 years old.
Please do this for yourself and let them help you. You will not regret a penny and wish you did it sooner. I will certainly be signing up for however long I need to.

These people are awful! My previous experience with Re-Enhance in Hale was amazing and I achieved my optimum Testosterone Levels through a cream product. Their(BIOiD) product wouldn't dispense properly and was an awful texture that wouldn't absorb. Nobody wants to help as soon as they've had your money. Don't go anywhere near them if you value your health!!

The company is very up to date with the lastest science & holistic in its approach .
