Bill's Restaurant & Bar Recenzje 

Pretty poor meal to say the least. We are not big eaters but quantity was not good and quality of food not great either.

These chain restaurants are quite adept in describing their menu in glowing terms.

The reality is very poor indeed.

As a family we dined at Bill's Restaurant at Eastbourne East Sussex. The atmosphere was pleasant and food nice, however, the drinks were expensive. I received the bill and paid. Once home I checked the bill again and to find 12.5% OPTIONAL service charge had been added. At no point were we told of any additional service charge and at no point did I agree to added service charge. An unexpected £5.36 service charge spoilt the experience we had at Bill's and would suggest that it is made clear before and especially at payment if any additional charge will be made. As with many companies, there was a lack of transparency. It is unlikely we would dine at Bill's Eastbourne again.

Terrible service the bartender was nice but that's pretty much all I can say positively .. the front of house was just unkind and had a bad attitude. I walked in for a drink by myself, there were three tables empty by the window the place wasn't stacked and wasn't busy at all... In fact when I walked in all the waiters and bartenders and front of house were standing at the bar having a chat not paying any attention to anyone around so when I walked in the only way to get their attention was to go to the bar and order my drink otherwise I'd be probably waiting for a while until they finished their conversations. . I was told the front windows were reserved for guests even though one table had dirty plates on it.... Okay... me coming in alone for a drink means I am not a guest? She must've felt really silly when all that time I was there the three empty tables remained empty. This front of house lady will lose you business..... The bartender just gave me a funny look as he was happy to let me sit wherever. I'll be contacting the manager as this is not how you treat people especially when everything is so expensive. Never have been treated so unkindly and unwelcome, I wish I left the drink and walked out as that was the worst experience I've had in a restaurant. 0 stars and will never return. Such a shame as I was looking for a private hire for a big corporate event, well done.... you can thank your front of house lady for losing this big opportunity and I will be sharing this to my connections.

Went to bills in windsor and all the staff were so so lovely and welcoming, had an amazing experience!!

Terrible and traumatic experience! Went for a regular business lunch with a client and asked the waiter if we could be seated on a larger table as the one he gave us was tiny and we order a lot of food. There were lots of tables but he refused to move us. After I told him that we would be leaving another waiter who was stood next to him called me a Tw*T! I asked him to repeat what he said as I was in shock and he repeated it again and said "you're a FU**ING TW*T!" My client that I was with said you can't talk to customers like that and he said I don't give a SH*T it's my last day! We spoke to the manager who apologised and said that somebody would be in touch within 24 hours. 5 days later and I hadn't heard a word back form anybody so had to chase head office! The manager had lied to them denying that she said someone would get back in touch with me just to add salt to the wound! I was offered a meal voucher but obviously won't be returning. This is the most shocking and disappointing experience I have ever encountered in a restaurant in my life and shouldn't happen to anybody.

Went to Bill's in bluewater for a treat as my two daughters wanted to spend there Christmas/birthday money that they had saved up. So decided to treat them to a nice lunch the staff member that severed us was nice but no different from meeting someone in cheaper establishment. The food tasted good but unfortunately the hidden service charge on the bill left a bit if a sour taste in my mouth. As the food was already expensive I don't feel I should be forced to pay a tip. It should be at my discretion. As I don't expect to be tipped in my line of work. Paying a extra £12 pound on top of my meal was not fair and I definitely won't be eating there again.

Had the loveliest experience at Bill’s on my birthday! The staff were incredibly kind and made the day feel extra special. They surprised me with a complimentary dessert, complete with a birthday candle—such a thoughtful touch! The service was warm, attentive, and welcoming. A perfect place for a celebratory meal!

Went to Bill's for brunch with friends. The menu was appealing, but the execution fell short. My avocado toast was soggy, and the poached eggs were overcooked. Not the worst experience, but certainly not worth the price.

Went here for dinner last night for the first time. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and is decorated really well. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We were served by Fin and he was great. The food was excellent. My husband had the bourbon brisket burger and he said it’s one of the best burgers he’s ever had (that’s a big deal) it’s really reasonably priced considering the quality of the food. So glad we’ve found this place, we will definitely be going back again!

We booked lunch at Bill's in Braintree as I had an offer of a free bottle of Prosecco as it was my birthday. As there was just the two of us and one had to drive it wouldn't have been possible to drink the whole bottle at lunchtime so we asked if we could accept the free bottle and take away but still purchase drinks with our meal (a small wine for my wife and two large beers for me total cost £23.40). No they wouldn't allow us to have the free Prosecco unless we drank it all with our meal. I'm sure as we said we would but other drinks they could have let us have the free bottle to takeaway.

When going into Bills for the £5 bottomless pancakes we were greeted with a menu saying £9.50 and £5 on Fridays only with no warning outside very dissopinted.

Bluewater. Took 40 minutes for the food to eventually arrive, only for them to have got the order wrong. One plate was correct and the other not. They offered to allow one of us to eat whilst the other waited (for an unknown time). We saw another table of four leave because of the delayed service. Sorry but if your kitchen isn’t coping then sort it, or close off some of your tables to help it out!

Good atmosphere and food, enjoyed our time in York and Bristol.
