Visited Bill's today for breakfast and was served by Lisa. Very friendly and welcoming. Lovely way to start the day.
Would defenetly recommend.

I liked the place itself, very nice ambience, service was relaxed, staff were polite, pleasant and laid back, I order a main breakfast, my wife ordered halloumi and fried potatoes (these were both on the menu as extras, but we explained that this is what we wanted as my other half has a current difficulting eating certain foods.
When my breakfast arrived, they had added the halloumi to my plate and not brought the fried potatoes and to boot the breakfast was quite cold, so I asked if they could bring what we had asked for , they kindly offered me a new breakfast and my wifes meal.
The breakfast arrived quite soon after a lot quicker than the first one had arrived, on it were two nice new eggs as the others looked like the meal had been sitting under a hot plate, I ate the brekfast and it was ok, but the one of the original pieces of halloumi was under the hash browns, indicating to me that they just took off the hallumi (not very well) and put on two new eggs.
A shame it was quite promising when we first got there, but if all had gone well, I would not have minded the long wait for food, I hope they improve things, the menu looked nice, the place was nice, staff were pleasant, food, let it down as did the rectification of an issue that should never have arisen

Our party of 5 went to Bill's Hammersmith for a late lunch. The restaurant was not busy, and practically empty, but we had to wait a while for a table. The service on this occasion was very, very slow considering the restaurant was not busy. When our food eventually arrived it was cold. Eggs are not very tasty if cold, but the rest of the food on the plate was ok including the cold baked beans. We had to wait a long time for our plates to be cleared and wait again for dessert to arrive. I ordered two scoops of ice cream which were tiny as half of it had melted (probably due to it waiting out of the freezer to be served). I was not at all impressed, particularly as the bill was very high for the experience we had. We won't be returning.

Good chain gone greedy with variable staff and quality. But - what is unforgivable is the use of frozen avocado. Appalling - tastes of phlegm mixed with shite.

Visited Bills Norwich for a pre theatre show lunch. Really friendly, good welcome. One of our party needs gluten free - well catered for and real attention to detail. My ‘gluten free’ friend selected a dish that had ‘extra’ coating on fries, the staff took extra care to explain the extra coating and offer choices. Roxy was our waitress.

Disappointing Gluten-Free Breakfast Experience at Tiger Bills, Exeter

We visited Tiger Bills in Exeter for breakfast, and unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. As someone who requires gluten-free options, I ordered the brunch meal. However, the quality and service were lacking.

The sausage appeared to be vegetarian rather than meat, and the gluten-free bread was hard and seemed stale. When I raised my concerns, the server insisted it was meat and was quite rude—especially when we asked about a possible discount due to the issues.

Thankfully, the manager handled the situation more professionally and offered a reduction on our bill, which we appreciated. However, the overall experience was disappointing, particularly given the lack of clarity about the food and the initial poor service.

Well Done - But I won't return

It's Important before I start to say we had a wonderful time at bills and enjoyed our experience.

However, looking at other reviews, there is not one reply from Bill's management to poor reviews or even a thank you for good reviews.

Therefore I do not hold out any hope of a response to my feedback or improvement.

This review is therefore for the benefit of potential customers.

The service was good. But I wasn't sure why the very friendly and funny lady that took our order, we never saw again. I think we were served in total by 4 different people.

They did a great job acknowledging my sons birthday with a very nice chocolate cake type pudding with a candle and singing happy birthday.

I'm not sure how I ended up with a black americano coffee. I wanted a coffee, but definitely didn't order that.
I was hoping for a decaff capacinno. But not sure what happened there.

I love freshly squeezed orange juice and bills for only £3.95 gave me one of the most tasty and refreshing offerings I have ever received.

A couple of food items in my bills breakfast were cold or slightly warm. I know bills would certainly have corrected it if I brought it to their attention. A member of staff did ask me during meal if everything was OK.

However, i do not like my meal or busy schedule being disrupted by meal corrections.

I will prefer to just eat the cold item, rather than wait for food to be re-done. I will only send food back if it's not cooked properly and a danger to my health.

I had a good time, but won't be returning. This is because Bill's has not replied to any feedback on any forum. Meaning it is unlikely they will respond or improve on the issues raised.

Been doing Bills UK wide c20 years. Today in York was mediocre at best and expensive. Julia's scrambled eggs were an omelette and my eggs beni were egg bullets. Avocado mash was like soup and black pudding like wooden coaster.
Too much choice in York so won't be back.

Great food and service value for money. Visited the Trafford center branch. The food was excellant and great staff.

Very disappointed with our recent visit to Bill’s in Kingston upon Thames. We showed the Unidays discount code to our server at the start of the meal, and she acknowledged it. The service was slow and felt unmotivated, even though we were celebrating two birthdays and two anniversaries.
When my elderly father-in-law paid, we noticed the discount hadn’t been applied. The server never mentioned we had to show the code again (which isn’t stated on Unidays). When I raised this with the manager, she was rude, unhelpful, and blamed us instead of resolving it.
She offered to recharge the meal and refund the original payment after five days, which was confusing as it meant my father-in-law would effectively pay twice, so we declined. As a “solution,” she offered us more coffees, even though we were already leaving.
What should have been a special family celebration turned into a frustrating experience. Would not recommend.

Kerry was an an amazing and kind waiter. I highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

BBQ ribs tasted funny like the meat were out of date and we're COLD! Then we ordered breaded chicken breast were full of oil.. swimming in oil.. Food were blend and not enjoyable.. still waiting for a ketchup.. overall it's was a horrible experience.. we left with a bad taste in our mouth.. Wimbledon bills.. you have to do better then this..

1 star – Manager's consistent rudeness, despite apology from GM

We've had several disappointing visits to Bills Leeds due to one manager who consistently treats us with visible rudeness. On our latest visit, a simple question from my pregnant wife was met with a dismissive and hurtful response, leaving her visibly shaken. This wasn't an isolated event — it's been a repeated issue with this same individual.

To their credit, the general manager followed up with a sincere apology and a goodwill offer, which we appreciated. He also spoke with my wife and expressed genuine concern for her experience. However, the core issue remains: this manager’s pattern of disrespectful behavior hasn't been addressed in a way that makes us feel confident about returning.

The gesture from management was appreciated, but unfortunately, until we see accountability and improved culture at this location, we’ll be taking our business elsewhere.

Such a great place to eat and enjoy the atmosphere, fantastic staff very friendly and welcoming great value for money the food is amazing!!! Would highly recommend (Westfield London) will definitely go back

Clem at the Bill's Westfield Shepherds Bush branch was super friendly, helpful and courteous. Credit to his profession - a helpful waiter/waitress always makes the experience better.

Norwich - Tea was lukewarm warm, eggs were like bullets and food was only just warm. Toast had a funny taste. I was offered a new breakfast but would not have been able to eat it and if it was anything like the first one then I wouldn’t want to eat it again. They did take some some off the bill but it was not a good experience and I wouldn’t avoid it in the future- if I am paying £14.50 for a breakfast, I expect it to taste better than that - Wetherspoons would have been better, cheaper and probably warmer!

Never going to a Bill's restaurant again. Went a few weeks ago to the Milton Keynes branch. Really long wait for orders to be taken and then extremely long wait for the adult starters to arrive. At this point the children were so hungry but thier food did not arrive u till much much later. Had to keep asking servers when the next meal was coming. Eventually left without the children having thier dessert as it just never arrived and we were fed up of waiting.
Then last week, decided to try Bill's again this time at the Birmingham branch. That was worse, coupled with a really rude server, we eventually asked to speak to a manager. And then once again the kids food did not turn up even though we asked for it to be served together with the adult starters due to our last experience. Just never again!

I have had reasonable meals at Bills before but last weeks at the Farnham branch was dreadful. It was crowded (half term) but there was no suggestion there would be a delay in our food. My husbands food arrived and 15 minutes later mine arrived because 'only the manager can handle gluten free meals'. They had forgotten my fries, which I have to admit were quickly brought to the table as a complementary extra. However my actual meal - poached eggs florentine with avocado was dreadful. The eggs were cold (probably because they had been waiting around for the manager to bring to the table) and weren't properly cooked. So not only was the white of the egg runny it was all completely cold. Disgusting. I should have complained but they were so busy I didn't have the heart. They also dropped my husbands toast on the floor and promised to replace it but it arrived as we were leaving.
