An Excellent Driving School
I approached this driving school, enquiring about having refresher lessons. My instructor, Pete, was excellent. Izzy, an amazing instructor
I cannot recommend izzy as a driving instructor enough, shes helped me get over my fears of driving in a car with an instructor after my previous one left me traumatised, even when I made huge mistakes she would always make me feel heard and seen letting me know what I did and how I can improve it in the future never once shouting and making me feel bad about it, she recognised my strengths and weaknesses before I knew i had them, a lovely human in general always making lessons fun and stress free 10/10 thank you izzy 😊

Very professional and punctual instructor, incredibly knowledgeable about the workings of both the driving test and of driving in the “real world” post test.
Took great care of his car which was always clean and well looked after.
Thanks to his support, I passed a manual test first time with 3 minors without any practice in a manual car outside of lessons.

Aggressive instructor but good lesson styles
Though a great structure to the lessons , with a helpful booklet to refer to- my experience with Nisari was very negative. Constant discouragement and even shouting + hitting things when I’d make a mistake. Always trying to take more money than I had out of me. This constant stress led to me failing my test due to high anxiety.

Learning to drive can be challenging, and pupils should always feel safe, respected, and encouraged throughout their lessons.

The most unprofessional instructors ever. AVOID
Based on Sheffield Bill Plant between the months of January and August. I used bill plant for about 4 months, had at least 30 lessons. My driving instructor was not once on time - always at least 20 minutes late. He even didn’t show up a few times and didn’t say anything. He was horribly inappropriate with his word choices “babe” “cutie” “darling” and I even failed my first test from something that was never taught to me. I then went on to fail a second test because of something he had taught me incorrectly. This man didn’t even know his left or rights. He EVERY lesson would make a phone call and be on his phone consistently, the day of my test he was on a phone call for the entire 2 hours beforehand speaking to someone through his earphones. He even smoked in his car infront of me before the test despite it needing to be clean for the instructor. He had absolutely no respect for me as a young person, my time or my money. This driving instructor was the worst I’ve ever had I have never met someone worse at their job and made my learning journey so much worse. I consistently left lessons crying and frustrated with the way that I was taught.
After he decided he wouldn’t be available for my test day (even though he didn’t tell me he was unavailable on that date) bill plant offered me a different instructor- who was at first great even though he charged more. Until he did the same thing, sent me all the dates he wouldn’t be able to do a test then once I got a test on an “available date” Bill Plant sent me an email claiming he couldn’t. I found it incredibly rude and antisocial to not reach out to me personally and tell me he’d made a mistake with the dates. They then don’t let you choose what car you drive or who your instructor will be.
Incredibly unprofessional driving instructors who are not equipped to deal with human beings. This process took 1000x longer because of bill plant and I would recommend everyone avoid them at all costs.

Muhammad Atieq at Bill Plant Driving…
Muhammad Atieq at Bill Plant Driving School is an outstanding instructor, and I'd recommend him without hesitation. From our very first lesson, it was clear how well he understood not just driving, but how to teach it. He took the time to understand my experience and comfort level, and genuinely tailored every lesson around that rather than following a generic script.
What stood out most was how clearly he explained things. Before we tackled anything difficult, he'd walk me through exactly what to expect and give me a clear approach for handling it, so I never felt thrown in at the deep end. That kind of preparation made even the trickiest manoeuvres feel manageable.
I passed my test with only 3 minors, which I put down almost entirely to how thoroughly he prepared me. Even now, well after passing, I still find myself using the reference points and techniques he taught me — especially for parallel parking and other manoeuvres — in my everyday driving.
If you're looking for an instructor who's patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping you become a confident driver (not just someone who can scrape through a test), Muhammad is the one to ask for at Bill Plant Driving School.

Majid Hussain, warwick test center
I passed in Warwick after working with Majid Hussain, he was very helpful and was always a reassuring presence in the car. He was always punctual and often arrived slightly early to lessons if anything. His teaching style was a good fit for me and struck a nice balance bewteen introducing me to new driving situations but keeping me confident and happy throughout.

Driving instructor recommended
Loved learning how to drive and was made so easy by my great instructor Scott. Really patient and happy to go over anything I wasn’t confident on. Happy to accommodate my schedule and go at my pace. Passed my theory and test first time, as was able to do loads of mock tests and ask any questions I wanted. Only took 6 months to do it all !!

Haidar is a great instructor
Haidar was the ultimately the main reason I did pass my practical test. He is very professional and knowledgeable instructor with deep understanding of what examiners are looking for and pragmatic approach on how to compound that into my driving style.
Always a good chat as well, and I will also recommend him to anyone looking to pass a driving test!
