Passing test with Rehman Ram Khen
My instructor was Rehman Ram Khan, he took me on a week before my test as my other driving instructor let me down. After failing my first test with my previous driving instructor I had no confidence in myself of passing my driving test. After one lesson with Ram I felt 10x better. He explained everything thoroughly,repeated himself as many times as I needed and even gave me and 1hr and 30 mins extra lesson time as he wanted to make sure I was confident with my manoeuvres. You can really tell Ram cares about all his students for as long or as short he works with them. Thank you so much Ram!! I couldn’t recommend him enough.

Best instructor ever
Successfully passed my driving test at Morden with 20 hours of lessons with Jonathon J. My instructor was very kind. His teaching style suited me and allowed me to improve. I would definitely recommend him to a friend or family. Not only a driving instructor but developed such a good friendship aswell which allowed me to be comfortable and confident during drives. This guy deserves a raise!!

First-time pass!!!
I had Chris Hall and he was incredible, he was extremely patient and forgiving and didn’t shout once. He is very fair with prices and lessons and is very forgiving if you have to cancel your lesson. He worked at a speed that complimented my learning speed perfectly and always made an effort to explain things and answer any silly questions I might have had. I am autistic and he taught me exactly as needed to help me learn. I would definitely recommend Chris to any learners who are struggling with their current instructors, new learners and especially autistic learners.

Zero customer support when things go wrong – £400+ out of pocket
I understand that corporate policy dictates process, but the complete lack of care, decency, and basic cooperation from Bill Plant Driving School has been appalling. When money was moving from consumer to organisation, the payment process was straightforward; however, the moment a problem arose through no fault of my own, Bill Plant completely washed their hands of me. My assigned instructor abruptly ceased trading under the Bill Plant name after I had prepaid for an 18-hour block booking, leaving me with 10 unfulfilled hours worth over £400—funds that remain officially tracked as credit inside Bill Plant’s own corporate app. Despite tracking my credit on their app, Bill Plant refused to issue a refund, refused to transfer my credit to a replacement instructor, and did so with zero care or cooperation, leaving me stranded and forcing me to escalate the matter independently to Citizens Advice, the DVSA, and my bank. Bill Plant is quick to take your money under their brand name, but the moment their franchise setup fails, you are left entirely on your own—prospective pupils beware that Bill Plant will not protect your money or honour your credit!!

I had a brilliant teacher, Paul Ibbotson. He taught me in a methodical, easily digestible way, while still being able to have a great chat every lesson. This made the whole process of learning to drive much less stressful and it was something I could look forward to every week. His teaching led me to pass first time, feeling very confident as a learner, knowing that I was good enough. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn!

I would give them no stars
I would give them no stars! Do not go with this company. We paid for a block booking for our son, over £400. The instructor made him have 2 hour lessons, he would be late or change the times at the last minute. He wanted my son to have a 2 hour lesson at 9pm the night before college, this was unacceptable and my son tried to rearrange 24hrs before the lesson, he was charged for the 2 hours and no lesson...this is policy apparently! Despite the instructor doing whatever he wanted at short notice. We cancelled the instructor and are still awaiting our refund of over £200, this was in March 2026. Bill plant customer services are awful, made me feel like dirt. Several calls and emails no refund. We are contacting the ombudsman about this company. DO NOT USE you have been warned!

Dee was the best driving instructor I…
Dee was the best driving instructor I could have asked for! This was my third attempt at learning to drive as someone who was very anxious about it, and no instructor handled that anxiety in the same way. Dee has a way of making even the most anxious drivers feel calm and safe, giving constant feedback in a really positive way whilst also being just a genuinely lovely and happy person. Thanks to Dee I passed first time and will be recommending him to anyone that is looking to learn in the Bradford/Pudsey area!

Rozlyn Anderson
I passed my driving test yesterday, and the support from my driving instructor Rozlyn Anderson truly has been amazing. I could not have found a better person to tech me how to drive, she is so kind and patient, aswell as pushing me to build confidence on the road.
Roz truly has the best student instructor relationship with her students. She truly has been so paicent with me and I couldn't be more thankful. I would 100% recommend Rozlyn to anybody who asked me for a recommendation for a driving instructor.
