I had tried to build an online store using several other platforms prior to finding Big Cartel. Big Cartel has been by far the easiest to setup and manage. It's so easy, a caveman could do it!

WE have been with BigCartel for many years now. I have a small business, I make Biblical resin figurines for religious programs that use a hands on approach for small children. They are cast from my clay originals.
Big cartel staff have assisted myself and my son with any issues we have faced through the years. Our website works great and we have no complaints. They are now a third party facilitator and collect state taxes and pay them taking a big load off of us since we ship all over the country.
I will recommend using BigCartel for any small business. They help make this experience a joy.

If you're looking to add design images and text/shop announcements, then click into your Shop Settings > Shop Designer-- you'll find all the built-in design tools there. Don't hesitate to reach out to us at support@bigcartel.com if any questions come up along the way.😄

Shop setup is Big Cartel so easy
Setting up a shop on Big Cartel is incredibly easy. By far, the easiest platform I have used. The free plan is a great way to start where you can choose a different one whenever you are ready.

More money, worse service
Began charging more to actively make the site more convoluted and harder to use. This is not just my failure to adapt. Have had multiple exchanges with staff (prompted first to advise by ai ofc lol) where they admit something is awry with no site solution. I trust this place less with my income every day and am looking for alternatives.

I tried Square first and found it almost completely dysfunctional; constant lags and breakdown, unnecessarily complicated systems, page designs that weren't really designed with artists in mind, horrible customer service. Almost everything with BigCartel so far has been seamless. I'm super impressed and grateful!
