Pleased with bus tour around the city - good commentary. Spent a lot of time waiting for buses, but realised the traffic is extremely busy. Enjoyed the boat trip. Suggest the walking tour in Summer starts earlier or maybe 5pm would be better. Extremely hot at 11am for a 1.5 hours walking tour around the city. 37c whilst we were there. Also lacking in representatives on the streets, for help, unlike other companies.

Most enjoyable but drivers seem to be in a rush ... a few times I wanted to get off but by the time I got down from top deck he was driving off

No A/C and it was 32° with no roof, i camplained in Facebook and no respond. I was a nightmare

We bought the 3 day pass with night tour, river tour and castle bus. The main bus tour was great. The busses were frequent and clean. The castle bus was really good too. The night tour was a little disappointing. The evening sights were good, but the commentary was the same as the day trip. The river tour was very disappointing and brings the rating down. The boat was really poorly configured to see much, there was a smokers section right beside everyone else, but the really poor thing was that regular customers share their experience with stag parties with unlimited beer and pizza. The party we shared our cruise with had the groom in an inflatable pe***s, who passed out after a few minutes. This was really not on. We were on this cruise a few days before the tragic collision where people died (not the same tour boat or company). It made me think about the safety briefing. There wasnt one. There were no life jackets I could see. The only crew member I saw was focussed on alcohol sales.
In summary, the bus tour etc was great. Think twice about the river cruise.....

Too few buses resulting in long waits at bus stops. I would recommend doubling the number of buses.

The price is good and cover the same area covered by regular hop on hop off. But there is not enough buses to go around like the other hop on hop off, we need to wait 3 passed by competitor’s buses before seeing the Big Bus coming along.

The bus service was great. It worked and we got around. But the App did not work at all. Even when reinstalled. Had to go to web site for maps and drop off locations. Also in Budapest - hard to find where the buses drop off. Until one has done it. Not like other city's where there is a big sign saying Big Bus stop.

Excellent service from the staff BUT because of heavy traffic jam in Budapest, it is not worth waiting for hours for the buses to come. The bus locator does not work. trams and metro are far more efficient in terms of time and money!!! You'd better buy an unlimited public transport card.

Real Time gps buses not effective.
Waited more than 1 hour and finally gave up. Métro and City buses less expensive and more efficients .

Wir hatten ein Deluxe-Ticket für drei Tage gebucht. An allen drei Tagen hatten wir an den diversen Haltestellen lange Wartezeiten (25 - 45 Minuten).
Die AudioGuide-Ansagen sind sehr dürftig. Es werden noch nicht einmal die Haltepunkte benannt. Man hört zum größten Teil nur nervige Musik.
Zustand der Busse und Organisation insgesamt sehr schlecht. Haltestellen sind schlecht oder gar nicht gekennzeichnet. Nach dem Ausstieg aus dem Big Bus konnte uns niemand sagen, wo wir den Shuttlebus zum Burgpalastes finden.. Die Shuttlebusse der andere Anbieter standen sichtbar bereit. Auch waren die Mitarbeiter der anderen Anbieter dort und haben ihren Kunden geholfen. Die Big Bus-Mitarbeiter waren leider nicht zu sehen.

Билет, действующий 24 часа немного вводит в заблуждение, что можно пользоваться автобусом весь день. Часы работы автобуса с 9-00 до 18-00. И кроме как непосредственно как на автобусной остановке эта информация не доводится до покупателя. Ни на билете её нет. И на сайте она возможно и есть, но где-то, где её нужно поискать. Мы уехали максимально далеко от места нашего проживания, и не смогли уехать обратно, так как рабочий день компании закончился. И нас таких было много. Человек 20 в недоумении остались на остановке.
В итоге пришлось зайцами ехать на таком же автобусе, но другой компании, автобусы которой работают до поздна.

Ended up walking too much as the Buses were taking longer than expected. Asked for a refund only to be offered an extra day for free which we didn't need or couldn't use because we were not around to make use of the service. We bought the 48 hour package and hardly benefited.

Good service, good price, helpful friendly staff. App is great to see how far away your bus is... never too long to wait. River cruise included was great too.
