Similar story to many others - placed order on 24th July no communication as to delivery and had to chase multiple times. Only response is via email.
Delivery was allegedly scheduled for 20th - they didn't turn up, then again no show two days later.
I've asked for a refund 3 times now and suspect I will have to do what others have done and take legal action to get my money back.

Well review number2.After my initial negative review they did respond as you all can see on here.There was a further email from them to say they were going to deal with the problem as in there words a matter of urgency guess,what, no response after that.I now feel completely let down by this company as have many other people on trust pilot.Time for legal action as I do not think they have any intention of supplying the goods.Please be aware if you are thinking of buying from this company

We ordered wardrobes at the end of July, and as of now, we still haven't received them. We were given a delivery date, waited all day, and the wardrobes never arrived. What started as an exciting experience of getting new wardrobes for our new home has turned into a major disappointment.

The lack of communication from this company is unacceptable. We have requested a refund, but so far, there has been no response. We feel completely let down and ignored. I would strongly caution anyone considering this company to think twice before placing an order.

My son and daughter inlaw are still waiting for there delivery of doors and have had no response they have left emails and phone messages but no response this company need to start answering emails and just be honest about if they are going to deliver or not

I have waited months for my order and emails asking for updates are ignored.

The one time they did respond they advised they were now expecting stock by the 23rd August but again there has been no update on this.

Complaint raised and no acknowledgement or response.

*update - they eventually responded and promised a refund on two occasions but have failed to make the payment. Avoid this company.

I ordered furniture on 26 June 2024. Apart from the invoice, which I had to find on their website, I received no communication regarding my order. After chasing several times, but never managing to actually speak to anyone, I received an email a month later, on 23 July, advising my order was ready for despatch and that I would be updated later that same day. I’ve heard nothing since, despite leaving answerphone messages and emailing. Today, 5 weeks later, l finally lost patience and raised the issue with my credit card company who have refunded me. This supplier may be legitimate, however on the basis of my experience I would urge caution in dealing with them.

Ordered 7 doors on 17/06/2024 , worth of 850£.Still waiting for delivery.Its a joke .

Small claim court or trading standards that is solution to this situation.

Ordered 7 doors from them in Feb 2024, received only one. Kept making false delivery promises for two months for remaining 6 doors, then false refund promises for next two months, and then they stopped responding to emails at all.

Small claim court notice was returned undelivered, seems address is incorrect. CCJ was issued last month. If the refund is still not received, will have to enforce the CCJ.

Any good reputation will company will respect the CCJ or challenge it. Bestatdoors.co.uk (JW Hardware) is not legit, it's a scam. Positive reviews are fake, avoid at all cost!!

Adding an update after 7 days of reply from the owner. He did send email, saying he will sort it out but still hasn't refunded after 7 days. Seen this pattern before.

Made an initial enquiry on a garden furniture set. Told they had over 10 in stock and could be delivered early part of the following week. Placed an order on this basis. I’ll cut a very long story short but 29 emails later chasing delivery and promises of a refund,- ended up disputing this with my credit card company to get my refund of over £1400. Don’t use if you value good customer service, delivery and your money …you will regret it!!!!

I ordered 5 internal doors on 17/5 and paid in full (£754.40). After being given an initiaI order date of 7-10 days, I was given a new delivery date of 19/6. After hearing nothing I emailed, left messages on their answerphone (they never answer their phone), used their chat facility. I received no feedback at all.
After sending an emailed threatening to take action on 21/7, I received a reply 16 minutes later saying the order was ready for delivery and that they had messaged me (they hadn't). They told me they would deliver that week and to let them know when i would be in, which I did. I then heard nothing for another week, and asked for a refund. on 1/8 i was told a refund had been actioned and would take 5 to 10 days. To date (20/8 - over 3 months after my original order), I have not received a refund or had any further emails answered. I don't believe this company ever had any intention of supplying my doors. I would advise anyone who is thinking of using this company to read the many other negative reviews on here before using them.

Ordered two doors on 7 July. Told 3 week lead time then delivery. Have sent multiple emails and left phone messages which despite stating that calls will be returned within 1 business day I have not received any calls. No idea what the status of my order currently is. Extremely poor customer care. Now affecting a project.

Ordered a door from this company on 2nd July.
On 21st July 'John' emailed me back and said he would call me the next day to arrange delivery. Absolutely nothing. I have called, emailed numerous times and no reply. I'm hoping they will see this and finally deliver my order...!
Update: Thank you for the reply. Yes the correct mobile number is on the order. Please call me or email to arrange delivery ASAP.

I have paid for my doors in full, they promised me delivery last week and I’ve not heard anything since. I have requested calls and messages through their website but no one ever seems to respond. This seems like a massive con to me and I will be reporting this to my bank for fraud!

Very frustrated customer!

Avoid at all cost this is a rip off company
Took my money and the only thing I got was an invoice. Never answered the phone or emails. Am currently telling with my bank and fraud team . Please anybody reading this go elsewhere

Order some doors 10th June 2024, provided false promises to arrange delivery but no delivery to date. Asked to cancel/refund via email on 17th July 2024, but to date still no sign of refund. Unable to get through via telephone (goes to voicemail every time), and live chat is pointless as it doesn't get through to anyone. Now have to resort to section 75 claim through credit card company.

Update 20/08/2024: Still awaiting refund, company does not respond, chased on multiple occasions, e-mails be are being received fine. No calls received from Bestatdoors. Will be raising to trading standards.

Do not order from this company!! The customer service is horrendous!

- Unable to speak to anyone via phone,
- They don't respond to live chat (that isnt actually a live chat as youd think), voicemails or emails.
- When told the order was being cancelled, they eventually sent an email providing a delivery date and time but then nothing got delivered within the 6 hour time frame that was given despite me waiting in all day for it!!!

Ordered a garden furniture set in May at a cost of over £1000. Despite several messages and promises of delivery I have still not received the item. My advice would be to not buy from this company or John!

Really pleased with our garden furniture. John kept us updated in terms of delivery throughout.

An absolute finesse of a company. Do not buy from them. Just like many of the 1star reviews here, I made an order, after a period of time starting contacting them they said they will provide a EDD after 24 hours, 2 weeks later still nothing. After dropping multiple messages on their live chat they say theyve now received the order and waiting to deliver as they have a que of products waiting to be delivered. Another 2 weeks later, still nothing. Message multiple times on live chat then get a responses that they will provide an update on the same day 3 working days later , still nothing. I’m busy at work so haven’t been able to contact financial ombudsman and fraud specialists but that’s my next step. It’s understandable when businesses have problems with stock but when you neglect customer communication this can lead to very, very angry customers.

Note: they have so many customers angry at them, they closed their phone lines and you can only contact them through live chat.

They take your money and you here nothing more. Emailed several times and numbers just go to answer phone.
John rang me up on a mobile number different to the businesses.
I then went online and purchased the bed as he said the offer was about to close.
I bought a bed and the lead time was 14 days.. which came and went.
I have requested a refund and now in the process of contacting trading standards as well as my credit card company.
Their website is always offering great deals that end tonight!!

Totally untrustworthy...will always buy from well known shop now

I never received email 15 minutes after my email ...only received email after leaving this feedback...
Now offering free mattress....and saying my statement is not true.
Gathering all the evidence for my credit company and trading standards .
Still no refund 7 days after John said he was refunding...
