Be careful!!!!!!! This platform care more about landlords than tenants and there is no quality warranty in their advertising.

This is my story:

1. I’m a postgraduate student and I was looking for a comfortable and cheap room in London. After weeks of search in several websites I got interested in Beroomers because the prices were reasonable and they start sending friendly emails, showing interest in my search.
2. One of the Beroomers advisors contact me (as I said by email), Offer a discount (10%) and recommend me to do as many bookings as I could, saying that there will be no charge. Of course there was a disclaimer: there is no charge unless the landlord confirm the booking. Shame on me, because I wasn’t careful with that detail. But that’s not the problem.
3. After several exchange of emails (all friendly) I booked some places and the response was that my first choice didn’t was available, despite the information mentioned in Beroomers website. The advisor of the platform offer me (all by email) another
option from the same landlord, one more expensive. Obviously I rejected the new option and continued with my search making other bookings in the same platform, one of them even cheapest than the option that was rejected.
4. After my rejection “okus bokus” my first option not only was available again, the booking was confirmed. Pay attention to this: first they cancelled my booking claiming that the room was not available, then I made new bookings and, after that, they revived the already canceled booking. Did they even ask me if I was still interested in the booking that they cancelled? NO. Did they even matter about my new bookings? NO.
5. When I talked about this by email with the Beroomers advisor, she just said that I could cancel the deal and look for other options but one month of rent and other expenses will be charged to my credit card, so her recommendation was: avoid cancel. There was no alternative in the email.
5. But why I’m so angry about this If one my options was finally accepted? Here comes the second statement of the first paragraph of this review: how accurate was the advertising about the room characteristics and thereby the quality of Beroomers as platform. The room was announced as one with desk and wardrobe, well there is no desk and nearly the half of the wardrobe is useless because the room is so small that the bed don’t let you open it. Beroomers would say that you have 24hrs to inform about this kind of observations, but what could you expect from them after the advice: avoid cancelation; and the cancelled and then non-cancelled booking, all without even asking?

Finally, yes, Beroomers is a platform, and they might use that argument to say that ‘if the landlord lie, they don’t have any responsibility’ but, as any other platform, their first job is to bring you accurately information.

That was my experience. Oh and I wrote them, about a week ago, telling this and what was their response? NOTHING AT ALL

My room is expensive ...!!! I am sharing with 3 people, and their price is about 500 euro, but mine is like 730 euro.

A very great and a wonderful team at "BEROOMERS".It was a very stressful journey looking for an accommodation within a limited time frame.I was so stressed that i didn't even know where to begin from. But in the end, it paid off as Team "Beroomers" stood by me. They were patient and kind.Team "Beroomers" rocks! An excellent team with a very good listening ears. I recommend "Beroomers" to anyone looking for a very wonderful housing experience.

I'm in hurry trying to book something in porto. I booked something on beroomers but the landlord not confirmed yet and i wish to cancel it to find something else. I've send messeges everywhere on the site but they didnt anwer on the phone or to mails. The book is still pending but nowhere to be canceled . Plase delete it i've communicated with the team but its still there!. Do something

Sono stata truffata e beffata in un affitto a Madrid per il quale alla fine si è scoperto che il proprietario dell'immobile era fittizio ma nonostante ciò è stato difeso dal team di BeRoomers. Ho perso un intero mese di affitto più le fee del sito. Le risposte sono state date in modo da poter far scorrere il tempo il più possibile. Polizia e università coinvolti però purtroppo nessuna tutela oltre al loro interpretabile "regolamento".

I first had an initial issue with my first booking that resulted in an abrupt cancellation. However, the customer support and resolutions team were very receptive and helpful for my situation. Big shout out to Esther and Ruben for helping me find a new place in a short amount of time!

After a month they cancelled my booking as THEY gave me the incorrect information!! Without any communication they just cancelled it!! Cannot believe it

They help you a lot and try to do everything they can to ensure that you can find your room

The support in the chet room and through mails was very helpful, in the end what helped me the most was your intervention for a stay of 1 month even though the landlord accepts only minimum stay of 5 months, so thanks again you've really proven yourself helpful!!!

Lo que más me gustó de beroomers es que me contestaron súper rápido todas las dudas que tenía y que siempre trataban de ponerse en contacto conmigo.

El servicio de BeRoomers es excelente pero el mayor problema que le veo es que los propietarios no actualizan la disponibilidad de propiedades que alquilan por fuera de la plataforma por lo que uno hace solicitud para reservas de propiedades que directamente no están disponibles.

Cristian was very helpful and assistive, he was also very friendly and helped me very much in the process of finding a suitable room for me!

I really appreciated that Beroomers offers the chance to look for a flat by using the maps, in this way it is possible to know exactly where the flat is located, if it is near to university or workplace.
It is fundamental because people often don't know the city where they are going to stay. The interface is pretty intuitive and nice, but if you have a question while you're looking for flats, there is the chance to chat with someone who can help you.
