Shocking service and sadly nobody there cares
Ordered a selection of food and treats. Trays that arrived were partly defrosted, no icepacks at all, and even worse not what i had ordered. Beef were all the same, chicken and turkey all the same but one. The rest were jut one of each but made up with turkey and chicken. Contacted BN, told to photograph the trays. They don't send icepacks anymore, more sustainable. So they filled the gaps with inflated plastic bags. Very sustainable.
Next day get message, after I pointed out they should have a record of what was packed. All of a sudden they did have one, all correct. DPD has put an incorrect label on. So another person had ordered 27 individual tray, and the same treats???? Sure, bet dpd don't put the label on either, how would they know who's who's?
As to ice pack, my parcel can't be defrosted as the box is tested for 72 hours. Funny my chestfreezer says 48 hours in power cut. A well insulted metal box.
I shouldn't have ordered, taken that my dog was violently sick shortly after her meal, and there were loads of little shiny bits that looked like teeth broken up. Again i was told to take photos and send batch numbers. There are not many trays with numbers on, plastic, ink and freezer not great. Told them, found one number, never heard from them again. Food is ok but staff and service....stay clear
Google tells me no double layered cardboard boxes can keep frozen food frozen for 72 hours. It tells me 4 to 12 hours, with icepack or other maybe 24. It will need other insulation like wool to go above that time.
