Perfectly OK for a family holiday

We have just got back from a 7 day stay and was very worried after looking at reviews but all 6 of us had a great time. We went all inclusive which the food was fine, it is basically the same every day but there is also 3 restaurants you can book as many times as you like which is Mexican, Asian and Italian which is included in the all inclusive (we were 4 nights to these, Italian and Mexican were the best). There are snack bars open from 11 which serve hot dogs, burgers, chips, salad and icecream (all just help yourself which the kids loved) . At the bars there is all fizzy drinks, juice like apple and pineapple and also slush machines coffee machines and local alcohol drinks which is all included (some branded drinks cost extra). There are different pools, one near the water slides (this one is near the self catering block which I think isn't as nice as the all inclusive building from what I heard) some quiet ones, one nearest reception is the entertainment pool and another with just one slide near merina 1. We stayed in serina1 (near a quiet pool with baby pool also) , we are a family of 6 and had two rooms, both rooms had two single beds and a sofa bed which wasn't amazing but perfectly fine, when we arrived at 4am the sofa beds were not made up so i did have to sleep with my 3 year old in a single until resolved the next day (a double and a single would have been alot better) .
We did have a big issue with mosquitos, alot of bites and even the sprays from the local pharmacy didn't completely keep them away, my smallest two and husband didn't get bitten so think just depends on the person but take extra repellant as you will need it if someone who gets bitten.
When leaving there is a suitcase room and showers as have to be out the room by 12 but we had a late afternoon flights so stayed at resort till 3.
The resort is very large and although the all inclusive block is near all the food halls and evening entertainment it is not near the water slides and takes about 10/15 mins to walk there from serina1.
Several signs up saying not allowed to reserve sunbeds round pools but if don't have your towels down by 8 probably won't get a bed as everyone reserves them. I did see the pools being cleaned and if went down at 7am then would be alot of rubbish but by 8.30 all cleaned up and round pools jet washed (also signs up saying to put rubbish in the bins but alot dont). They 100% need more sun loungers as apparently can take 4000 guests and probably not even 1000 beds total. We had a great time, weather wasn't great but that couldn't be helped but the holiday itself for the price was fab and if going I wouldn't look at the awful review, it's a nice resort, the cakes and icecream are amazing, muffins, pastries and doughnuts at breakfast, what more can you want haha.

Bellevue Club

Just arrived home from a fantastic week at Bellevue Club. The staff here are amazing and so friendly. We were in the beautiful Sirena 1 building and also received a free complimentary upgrade. Clean towels are available every day if required and cleaning 3 times a week. The view is gorgeous and the Sirena pool area is absolutely stunning! The restaurant is great, our 13 year old granddaughter is extremely fussy but she always managed to fill a plate. Yes it’s a but repetitive but aren’t all all inclusive hotels? It’s clean and the tables are cleared in jig time!
In my opinion if people complain about mess etc then maybe have a look at yourselves, we saw paper cups being dropped on the ground when there was a bin 10ft away??
Maybe if I wanted to be a bit of a moaner I’d say the doors could be soft closing and the night time entertainment could be looked at but I couldn’t fault the way they are with children, they never stop and the kids love it, happy faces all round. Our granddaughter made loads of friends and she is very shy.
Your holiday is what you make of it, go and enjoy!
We are already looking to book to come back after only arriving home 7 hours ago! 🥰

Poor hotel

Having paid just short of £4000 for the holiday we expected better, we arrived 29th July, reception staff were lovely and checked us in quick, it went down hill after that, myself and my daughter got stuck in the lift on way up to room for 15 mins, then when got to room we couldn’t get in as lock was faulty, 30 mins later when we got in there was only 3 beds made up, there was 4 of us, no problem I’ll ring reception and tell them but the room phone wasn’t working, tv wasn’t working and balcony door wouldn’t lock, by this point I was getting annoyed so I put my concerns online, electric went off on day 2, not hotels fault but I did ask if they knew when it would be back on but weren’t very helpful, day 3 no air con in room at this point I went into reception to ask about it at this point a manager or assistant manager came out and started lecturing me on putting negative posts online which someone swiftly removed, he also kept saying reception staff deserve medals for doing there job, I could not get out of there quick enough, hence I did not go into reception again, my Dads partner tripped over a raised kerb and fell and smashed her face in and broke her glasses, no member of staff came to help and I guess they have no medics on site, a really poor holiday had by all 😕

I would not give this place a 2 star

I would not give this place a 2 star. Go at your own risk. From day 1 nothing but problems.we arrived at midnight for all inclusive package and were sent to wrong hotel on sight , Not even a bottle of water offered to us .numerous days wasted trying to get things sorted in room .Power cuts for first day and whole night,no aircon for 4 days out of a 7 day stay. Being told by staff that they know it needs fixing and have reported to a technician. Being on the 3rd floor with a disabled son even though we had already requested a year ago to be on bottom floor and the lifts not working for 5 days on and off. So had to carry him down 3 floors and back up if we wanted to leave the room.Food is very mediocre. Best to eat out. Mould in bathrooms . And just general run down place. After all the problems we had through the week we asked to pay for an extra few hours as our flight home was in the evening and was told they would let us stay only if we gave them great reviews on there website. Total blackmail. Please refrain from wasting you hard earned money on this place and stay away.

Vi elsker at komme på Bellevue

Vi elsker at komme på Bellevue, som vi kommer nu for 8 gange. Dejlig udsigt, dejlig gåture omkring søen. Kort vej til stranden. God rengøring. Lidt slidt, køkkenet kunne godt bruge nye gryder, da vi selv laver mad. God underholdning for børn, og voksne. Dejligt med mange pool områder. Dejligt der har været ro ca 11.30. Vi elsker området

We arrived with big anticipation and…

We arrived with big anticipation and joy! After the first day we had to cancel the all inclusive because the food was absolutely disgusting. I pretty sure they serve better food in prisons.
The rooms are outdated and dirty.
The pools areas was alright! The kids enjoyed them a lot.
Our two year old had to be hospitalized for 2 days because of an infection but the doctor at the hotel was very helpful.
We won’t be coming back again.

Paper thin walls, no sound proofing, needs updating

We booked through LoveHoliday, 7 of us on three different rooms.
What a let down !!!
The self catering rooms are basic, overdue for renovation, bed replacements required but in all fairness there are 1468 apartments to upkeep so it's understandable some will be dated....
The main issue is if you get one of the rooms that have not been done you WILL hear everything going on in the adjoining rooms ,above especially.
We endured 10 nights of torture for ALL three rooms with zero chance of a nights sleep (avoid building Ceres 1) .
Our swimming pool was out of action for 4 of the 10 days for essential repairs, we had no access to the adjoining buildings pool even though it was rarely fully used.

Alcudia itself was lovely, beach was amazing, plenty of restaurants to choose from,would definitely go back but won't be staying in Bellvue

I wouldn’t even give it a star an absolute waste of money paid £1800 pounds for 2 nights all inclusive yet the pool was so cold my daughter ended up freezing and her lips turned blue we paid for all inclusive but had to pay extra for snacks avoid at all costs

Terrible Hotel

Ich war vom 10.4. - 17.4.24 in diesem Resort. Hotel mit vielen Mankos. Die Zimmer werden nur 1 max. 2 x die Woche oberflächlich in 5 Minuten durchgewischt. Handtuch/Bettwäsche musste ich mehrmals nach 4 Tagen zum wechseln, betteln. Essen mäßig bis durchschnitt, man kann es essen ohne Anspruch. Wasser in den Pools sehr kalt, weite Wege in diesem Minidorf. Zahlreiche Zimmer mit kleinem Schiebefenster. Hab (leider) über TUI gebucht, aber die nehmen mittlerweile jeden Mist ins Programm auf. Ach ja, WC-Spuelungen haben auch öfters nicht richtig funktioniert und Strom viel einige Male aus. WLAN sehr schlecht, zahlreiche Downloads e.t.c. werden gesperrt, die sind gar nicht nutzbar.

Awful if booked in June cancel, another festival happening

Awful! 3,500 Portuguese students wrecking the place. Used condoms, drugs and fights everywhere. Everything was allocated for the students so did not get the all inclusive family holiday we paid for. Could not wait to leave, fire works set off early hours, random people off the street using facilities free as there’s no security. Lucky lucky men pestering every five minutes to sell knocked off gear even after saying no. Children were terrified here spent extra money to stay away a few days of our holiday.

Jet2, Bellevue Alcudia

Been with Jet2 many times, never had cause for complaint, but sickened by appalling service at Bellevue Club Alcudia, April 2024. Two small bars open at night, in enormous sprawling resort, currently with 4000 students, in addition to the rest of us. Queues at those bars literally hours long, and no kids entertainment. Don't get enough holidays in any given year to pay through the nose for all inclusive for and then have this to put up with.
Updating, as in all fairness, Jet2 did sort this pretty quickly after complaining about it, opening another bar and providing entertainment.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!Belle vue Mallorca

I visited here with my family in July. I am only writing the review now as it has taken me this long to get a full refund (thanks to Barclays).

We did a lot of research before we decided where to book. We looked at photos, reviews, the works! Loved that Belle vue had slides for the kids, and self catering option for such an affordable price.

We book the deluxe rooms as we hadn’t been away for a while and wanted to treat ourselves. The holiday was for my disabled mum, two kids (2 and 6), and two other adults.

We checked in and drove over to where our rooms were (the complex is massive, cars parked anywhere and everywhere. The place looked run down and like an abandoned butllins). We left our luggage in the cars to check the room out.

Upon entering the room we was hit with a stench of damp, making it hard to breath. There was a plug socket hanging off the wall, puddles of water in the kitchen and bathroom, cobwebs everywhere, dust In the wardrobes. I could go on. See photos for what we were faced with.

My sister went to reception (each apartment block has its own reception and you have a main reception where you check in) to ask if we could be moved. They gave her a key to another room. This rooms door had been kicked in and fridge pulled out and smashed on the floor. She went back to reception and they said to go to the main reception. Off we went to the main reception where there were a few groups of people waiting to speak to the manager. Clearly we were not the only ones with issues with out room.

After speaking with the manager we was offered to downgrade our top of the range room (if you can call it that) to a different section of the complex. If this was what the top of the range room looked like what would this room be like.

The room we was given was meant to be newly refurbished! We declined and asked for a full refund. We was told we had to speak to booking.com to get it resolved. After going back and forth it was agreed we would get a full refund. We was given our tourist tax refund and was told we would get our refund for the four nights stay.

We then had to find somewhere to stay in the height of the summer holidays. Lucky we had a hirer car and a credit card to put the purchase on.

We then spent the next four months (including on our holiday) speaking with booking.com and the hotel trying to get our money back.

The clause with booking.com has is its down to the hotel to represent their hotel and what they don’t tell you is that you need it in writing from the hotel before they can releases any refund.

The cheek of Belle Vue was they tried charging us one nights stay although we didn’t stay there, had proof we booked somewhere else, and the stress and financial hardship they put us in to book somewhere else due to the unacceptable accommodation they are providing.

Booking.con team all tell you something different. Make sure you get everything in writing.

Belle Vue are money grabbing horrid people and need to invest in the upkeep of their complex. It should be quality over quantity. They are really out of depth with the size of the complex.

I know holidays are now really expensive but stay anywhere but here!!!

Heerlijk weekje in de herfstvakantie gehad!

Ik schrijf eigenlijk nooit revieuws, maar las over deze wat negatieve dingen en omdat wij het zo niet hebben ervaart wil ik juist het positieve benoemen. Wij zijn in de herfstvakantie een weekje geweest met 2 kids (3 en 12) we hebben een heerlijk weekje gehad. Een mooie, schone, erg groot appartement. Het hele complex is eigenlijk een klein dorp, er staan ongeveer 10 grote hotelcomplexen en rond de 8 zwembaden op het hele terrein. Ik denk dat het in de zomervakantie wel erg druk en vol is. De zwembaden waren koud, maar allemaal erg leuk voor de kinderen, die hebben zich heel goed vermaakt. Omdat we hadden gelezen dat de eetzaal voor het aantal mensen wat aan de kleine kant is, hebben wij alleen logees geboekt. Het hotel zit aan de drukke winkelstraat met genoeg eetgelegenheden voor zowel ontbijt, lunch als avondeten. Het eten/drinken is een stuk goedkoper dan in Nederland, dus blij met deze keuze. Je loopt ongeveer met 10minuutjes naar het strand door een gezellige straat met allerlei winkeltjes. Het strand is heerlijk (in okt nog heerlijk warm water) mooi zand en en prachtige steiger in het water. We hebben echt een super weekje gehad hier en komen zeker een keer terug!

Not the worst hotel but not the best…

Not the worst hotel but not the best either.
We come as a family of 4 for a week and have spent atleast 20-30 minutes a day waiting for lifts as the lifts in the hotel keep breaking which is not ideal with two toddlers with two prams.
If you do have toddlers, make sure to bring prams as you will be doing ALOT of walking.
Only two bar areas open at night which is ridiculous for such a large complex, end up waiting for a hour for drinks in the que, we've paid all inclusive and have ended up eating and drinking out because it's so aggregating waiting to get served.
Splash pool is located at the other end of the complex, which they don't tell you about and its not on the map either, we found it on the last day of our vacation, then to our surprise we found out the slides shut at 2pm, so kids had a melt down over that.
Food variety isn't the best, breakfast is nice but everything else wasn't great (chinese night was the best we've had) kids selection of food is poor (unless you like deep fried broccoli and baked beans).
No water aerobics or much going on, the pools never cleaned.
Mosquitos rule the hotel which is understandable as its surrounded by a lake but my poor son has over 40 bites on his face.
Over all wouldn't come back and wouldn't recommend for a family, maybe a girls/lads holiday.
Only upside is its a great location short walk from shops, restaurants and the beach and there is lots of pools to choose from.

This is just an amazing place

This is just an amazing place. Currently her with my husband and 6 children and want to book for next year already. Some rooms could do with updating but sure that's to be expected as the place is massive. The staff are so helpful and nice and especially Molly at reception she went above and beyond for us. The night time entertainment is brilliant and the food and staff at the restaurants are just amazing. The mosquito bites the first day we're a bit of a shock however that's to be expected being around so much water. When I come back next time I ll just be more prepared. The candles and essence sticks seem to work best. Bands are a waste and also sprays so come prepared

Rude staff and water leak

We had room given with water leak in the bathroom. Everything is run down conditions, rusted shower, broken tap. Can't use toilet properly due to water leak. They changed our room after several complaints on our 3rd day. Also phones not working in the room to call reception. Staff was extremely rude in the food hall. We went as half-board and I never feel this insulted and horrified seeing how staff treats you. Its beautiful picturesque place surrounded by beautiful lakes but overall experience was horrible. Never going back again.

Het complex is veeeel te groot.

Het complex is veeeel te groot.
Smorgens sta je aan te schuiven om binnen te kunnen om te ontbijten.
Het eten is eentonig, zeer weinig variatie. Ik heb al mooiere en betere all in ervaringen gehad.
Er is veel reparatiewerk nodig. De helft van de glijbanen werkt niet, trapjes aan de zwembaden staan los.
De kamer is ok maar de kluis werkte niet, de tv werkte niet. Je betaalt daar extra voor dus ik ben wel mijn geld gaan terugvragen. Daar deden ze gelukkig niet moeilijk over.
Het zit er vol muggen. Elke dag heb je minstens 5 beten erbij. Waarschijnlijk omdat er overal plassen en modder ligt.
De afstanden tussen de verschillende zwembaden is ook vrij groot waardoor mijn zoon ook niet heeft deelgenomen aan de animatie.
Als je savonds naar de show ging kijken en je wou iets drinken moest je wel een half uur aanschuiven.
Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam maar je merkt dat er veel te veel toeristen zijn en het personeel het niet aan kan.
Voor ons een keer en nooit meer.
Volgende keer zal ik de reviews geloven die ik lees!
