I ordered the Joseph Pocket Spring Series 2000 Pillow Top Mattress on recommendation from my sister in their January sale, got a fantastic, comfortable mattress for practically nothing! I wasn’t available when it was due to arrive, but Beth in customer service couldn’t have been more helpful in organising a delivery note and the alternative contact person I provided, and was very kind. The driver was fantastic as well, very polite and efficient. Both very helpful, went out of their way to accommodate me and I am very grateful, so thank you to you both! Only small thing I would say is that it says on the website they try to narrow down the time of delivery as it’s an all day appointment, but I was only given 30 minutes notice and my sister wasn’t given any at all, just her delivery date — wasn’t an issue for us as my sister’s was delivered on a Sunday and I had someone available at home to receive it during the week, but just something to bear in mind if your delivery is during work hours or you live alone etc. However, I am delighted with my mattress and experience overall, would definitely recommend!

I ordered a mattress last June. When it arrived, it was sealed in plastic, so I didn’t notice anything unusual at first. Once I removed the plastic, I realized the mattress looked completely different from what was advertised. I contacted customer service immediately, but they told me that the images don’t have to match the actual product.

More concerning is that I later discovered the mattress does not meet its description at all. It is advertised as orthopaedic and firm, but it is neither. I only became fully aware of this when my son recently started complaining of back pain. After checking the mattress myself, I’m extremely disappointed.

I’ve reached out to customer service again, so I’m waiting to see how they respond. The mattress does come with a 2-year guarantee, which I hope they will honor.

Customer service not answering. We bought bed from this *****. They brought the wrong headboard and they said in 4, 5 days they will bring new correct one. They have been ignoring my emails , calls and messages since then. I'm reporting them to consumer rights as I m still in my 30 days timeline and item is not as described. Avoid this scammers.

Order mattress 23rd Dec. Today is 21Jan. Still waiting. An on-the-day delivery postponement last week, and a no-show on the rescheduled delivery day yesterday. No engagement from the company on requests for updates. Terrible customer service.

Bed was delivered with missing parts, blamed supplier, blamed the weather. Eventually agreed to collect but demanded pictures of it before being collected, passed from one agent to another. Never received correct parts, never received assembly instructions. Awful company

Avoid this company like the plague. Ordered a mattress with 10 day delivery after waiting a month i was told it was due to a storm. Finally got a delivery date and no word until 3 o'clock on the day when I finally got through to the phone number having tried for two hours. Customer service is non existing with this company. Mattress was dumped on my doorstep and the mattress disposable which I payed for wasn't done. Mattress looks nothing like the one I ordered and is terrible quality. Currently waiting on a refund and a date for them to collect this excuse of a mattress. My advice would be to stay away from this company!!!!

I ordered an ottoman bed frame & headboard only on 26/11/25 for delivery to Donegal. Came across the reviews on here after I had already placed the order and was panicking.
I received a call from a UK landline (beginning 004414 I think) and they confirmed the delivery date as 10/12/25 and said the driver would try to confirm a time on the day.
On the day I didn't receive any calls from the driver and at 3pm I called the customer service number and was in a queue for about 5 minutes and when I got through I explained that I had to collect my little girl from school and didn't want to miss the driver so the lady contacted the driver and then came back to me to say he would be with me in approx an hour and that I was the last delivery.
Driver arrived at 4:30pm.
The bed Frame is perfect, was easy to put together and the quality is excellent.

Warning: do not buy.

I purchased a mattress from Bed World Ireland in May 2025 and it became severely sunken and unfit for purpose within days of my 60kg daughter sleeping on it.

The replacement mattress of the same model, provided after much back and forth in November 2025, failed in exactly the same way within three days. After providing photos, I requested a refund, but Bed World refused, claiming their 60-day store policy overrides the Consumer Rights Act 2022.

Two failed mattresses, no refund, and a refusal to acknowledge statutory consumer rights. I have completely lost confidence in this product and this retailer and strongly warn other potential customers.

Great to deal with, messed up my measurements for my bed and it wouldn't fit up my stairs, Bedworld exchanged it for a different bed that fitted. Delivery was on time. Would defo recommend

Bought a mattress end of November to be delivered to mid west Ireland, once two weeks past with no further update I emailed customer service eventually getting a reply that it would be delivered the following week between 7am-7pm, 3 weeks later then expected.The delivery driver did not arrive to my house until 21:30pm to then realise my mattress was not actually put into the van. The delivery driver could not give me a reason or update as to what happened or when it would be delivered. I tried ringing customer service multiple times the following day with no reply. Worst company I’ve ever dealt with.

Mattress was late. Ordered a SOFT rated mattress the Mulberry 1000 and it was harder than our previous medium firm mattress. Both my husband and I had back shoulder and hip pain and I could barely sleep at all. Cheap quality would never buy from them again. Too hard and expensive to return so stuck with it

Bought a metal bed frame in March 2025. When put together, not very sturdy. Collapsed within 8 months. Design flimsy and weak. Metal bars bending, causing slats to fall out. Not covered under warranty and it seems the problem we had is a common occurrence so why not address it. I'm 82 kg and my partner is 70kg so not overloaded. Would not advise anyone to buy from this company.

Ordered a chesterfield sofa. 10 day lead became 23 workings days. Delivery guy wanted to try to sqeeze it through the door. Previous sofa deliveries always came through the window. Delivery limitations are only listed on the receipt AFTER you've ordered and it's way down in the small print. Avoid!!!!

I cancelled the delivery and the order. Will never use this company again.

Currently been hounded by this customer service agent named Jake through emails. This is the childish customer service replies when you deal with this company who sells cheap, poor quality materials. The fact he actually took the time to write this instead of helping/ not helping someone else says alot about the company. Do not buy from this company which can only be described as a circus.

I did not want to give it one star. Most unprofessional company I have dealt with. Endless emails from different people, mixed up delivery dates. Ordered it 19 days ago. Told that the mattresses come over on the ferry once a week and delivers at weekend only. Promised it would be delivered on Mon then told they only do weekends as they have no storage in Ireland. Then said it would be delivered Tues afternoon and would tell me the estimated time. I sent an email with my daughters number as she was in the house. At 7.10 pm i was sent a text to say they were outside the house. I was at tennis and didnt expect them to phone me. Now the mattress is AWOL. Tried phoning the number but no reply. Sent another email and no reply.
Irish number not answered ever.
Rang 13 times yesterday but no answer. Tried to chat online twice and chat was aborted.Emailed and no reply.

Ordered an ottoman bed and mattress last year and was delivered August time, on delivery the driver assembled the ottoman base and off he went. Within an hour we noticed the bed was completely offline and was squeaking when opening it. Got onto customer service and they said they would replace it; After numerous pictures and video evidence had to be sent. Perfect.. so I thought.
A few weeks passed and we got our replacement ottoman, delivery driver arrived and refused to replace it and just said oh I can fix it. Thought it was fixed but he actually made it worse. So we said no we want it replaced but to a divan base instead. We didn’t have faith in the ottoman anymore. The mattress seemed to be fine but I did query about it bulging over the base and was assured that this was fine and wouldn’t affect the structure of the mattress. I was 9 months pregnant at this stage and waiting for baby any day.
Another few weeks passed, I had had my baby and up rocks a new divan base. Wasn’t informed of delivery or rang ahead. Nothing. The driver was rude and aggressive saying we never took apart the bed and brought it downstairs. I was about a week or two postpartum at home alone as my husband was out with my other boys. He was refusing to replace it saying he didn’t have time but I rang customer service to sort this out. Eventually he replaced the base for me, to his annoyance.
Fast forward just over a year and the mattress has completely dipped on both sides and lumps have formed in it. I contacted customer service and they are saying its out of warranty so nothing can be done. It’s only out of warranty about 2 months when I contacted them. Very unhelpful and rude customer service. Clearly don’t care about the customer they have or want repeat custom from people.

From.order to delivery was fine, unfortunately after almost 2 years of having the bed. (A bristol brass frame bed) I ran into problems. The bed was making an awful noise which woke me up. The screw that went from the frame into the right bottom post kept coming loose. ( I tried swopping screws which didn't work.)I emailed bedworld for advice All the emails I received were polite but emphasised.i wouldn't get a replacement bed. I didn't want a replacement I just.wanted.to know was there anything to stop the screw coming out of the post. I had 4 or 5 emails from the company. Each email wanted my name address etc which I gave I also sent a picture of the only.order form I had. I got an.email from aisha who asked me.for.a video of.the.problem. this.i sent less than a.week later aisha emailed me.with again.for the 5th time with a request of my address contact number etc and a video. Well I wasn't to pleased. I did email back and ask was this a joke I had emailed my address etc about 4 times and had already sent in a video. I have to date never got a reply back. So in conclusion I will never order anything from this company again. My request for asking for.the.bed manufacturer was ignored. They obviously haven't a clue about beds and God help anyone who has a problem with anything they've ordered.from them because you won't have any joy. I actually asked did aisha actually look at the video. Aisha didn't even have the curtesy to reply. So stay well clear of bedworld.ie

I have written a review on this company last week and they got back to me with an apology for non delivery and promise to deliver the bed yesterday (Sunday 7 Oct). Once again, no one contacted me or delivered the bed. I have repeatedly tried to get in touch all morning, they don’t answer the phone or respond to messages or txts.
I informed them I needed this bed for my husband to be discharged from hospital with, he came home and last night slept in a chair!
I am at a loss and once again can only warn other customers of their diabolical customer service.
