Save your money.. It dosent work.. I bought it because my neighbor refuses to do her job with her nuisance barking dogs.. I even tried it on my own dogs and they didn't notice..

This gadget really works

This site almost looked like a scam, but I took a chance because we adopted my sister's chiweenies after she died. One had a serious barking problem and since we live in an RV, we had to stop the incessant barking. We have only had to use it a few times using a "quiet" command and the lowest setting. Not only does she immediately stop barking, but barks much less and when she does, saying "quiet" one time stops her, instead of me having to tell her over and over. It took a few weeks to arrive after order but was worth the wait. Highly recommend.

Instant possitive results!

From the first use, my dogs both stopped barking instantly and gave me their attention. Now with consistent use they are barking less in general. If something does get them barking, one short burst and they stop barking and come inside. I never hear a sound. I highly recommend this product. Read instructions and use properly, it works!

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I made a spelling error on my address and called moments after I sent my order in. I was assured that my correct address would be put on the package- that was two months ago. There was an attempted delivery to the wrong address and it was sent back to them in Phoenix and they still couldn’t get it to me and I got fed up with no response to my customer service emails. Don’t bother with them. you won’t get a refund either. I have to dispute on my credit card.

Totally dishonest and incompetent…

Totally dishonest and incompetent company. The product didn't work and it took forever for them to answer my complaint. The "free return" is not remotely free--you have to pay for it as opposed to get a return label from barxbuddy. And I was told that I would be refunded when I gave them the USPS tracking number. I did that over a week ago and zilch. I have complained to the BBB and they tell me their query wasn't answered. That says everything. The company has lovely advertisements but don't believe any of it. If I could give them a ZERO, I would.

Scammers! Very good at their game, too!

These people are scammers. Lied for days to keep me waiting until it shipped. They had no intention of cancelling my order or refunding the price.

My order was placed at the beginning of last week, but I had not received any confirmation of the order by late Friday afternoon, despite them taking my money immediately when I ordered. I called to ask about it just to confirm the order went through alright. I was told that the order could take up to two weeks just to be processed and then up to two weeks to be delivered. I need this product for a big move coming up so I asked for a refund since I am sure it will not arrive before I leave now that I know the estimated processing and shipping schedule. I was told it would take up to two weeks to process the refund, but they would send me a confirmation email to confirm the cancellation request was received.

So, at this point, I was told by person #1 that it was being escalated for cancellation. They assured me several times that the refund and cancellation were requested, they confirmed the refund amount (after she needed to add it up on her calculator first), and they confirmed at that time that no activity had happened, which is why they could cancel it right then. No shipping activity = eligible for a refund. Her words, her guarantee.

By end of day Monday, I had not gotten the email that they promised I would get to confirm the refund request was received by the escalation team (it would confirm that the request was received, not processed which takes up to two weeks), I called again to confirm that person #1 really did submit it. I was told by person #2 that it was in the system to be cancelled and not to worry, just wait for that email confirmation that the cancellation and refund were received and then it would be up to two weeks to be processed. It could be a day or two still for the team to receive the email to cancel the order that they are busy right now, but it would be taken care of, she confirmed it.

Bottom line, person #2 had now confirmed that the order was being cancelled, and it was in the system that a refund would be issued in a couple weeks. Two different people saw the cancellation in the system, added notes to my account, and confirmed my request was being sent to process. I was fine with waiting for the refund because two people have now confirmed that no shipping activity had occurred since the order was placed early last week. They also confirmed multiple times now that the refund would be 100% what I paid, shipping and extras included. The whole refund, no tricks or takebacks.

Last night, I got an email saying, "We’re happy to confirm that your Barxbuddy has shipped!"

I checked the tracking this morning and the only activity is that a label has been created. No delivery estimate available and USPS is waiting for the item from the shipper. So, I called back today and was told quite rudely by person #3 that they can't control what happens on the backend and that I should have requested the refund before it shipped because it is out of their hands now. Word for word, they told me it was my fault for waiting so long to ask for a refund or cancel my order.

It will likely not arrive before I move so I might never see this product and I am out about $60. Looking at other reviews, I know I will be charged to return it if I do ever get it. Craziest thing is that when I placed the order, it showed that there was a warehouse in my state with several units available to ship fast. So why is it shipping from Arizona if you have them here? Why is shipping going to take several weeks if you have them nearby? I will tell you why - because they are scammers.

Which brings another point - you don't see the shipping chargers until after you place the order because the website says, "review and confirm" and once you hit next, it charges you right then, before you see that the shipping is $9.95 with no shipping speed indicated or an option to choose one.

If I knew how much it would cost up front and how long it would take, I would have passed this product up. Any company that tricks you out of money is not legit and should be held accountable. Why not be upfront with the charges, the shipping times - you know, all the information that must be wrenched out of them after they take your money?

It is most certainly a scam.

Not satisfied.

I received 2 barx buddies. Never opened them. I do not want them. So I tried to return them and I was told by a rude agent that I would have to pay 9.95 to return them, even though they were not opened. I was then offered 10.00 for each item and to keep them. Do not believe the advertisement of easy 30 day returns. Not impressed with this company at all.

Sketchy Ordering & Shipping Process

Very sketchy order process and no indication of shipping charges until AFTER you place the order and agree to the extra fee for expedited care and tracking. How many screens did I have to click "no thank you!" for all the extra things they tried to sell me? Why trick people? I then waited several days and no word about the order from the company so I called customer service to find out that it can take up to NINE days to receive shipping information and I was quite firmly asked to be patient. They confirmed it has not shipped, has not had a label created, but for me to call back if I have not heard from them after nine days. I requested a refund and was told to call back after nine days and ask for confirmation of shipping, if it has not shipped then a refund can be processed. I refused to wait and said I am requesting it right now because they already confirmed it has not shipped. That prompted them to put me on hold for a while for them to "send an email to the processing team" and that I "need to be patient because they have a high volume of emails for this request and it can take up to 48 hours for them to read it". Also, it can take 14 days to process it after the initial two days to read it. All the reviews that claim amazing customer service cannot be genuine. They are sketchy and dishonest. Not one place in my order gave me an option for shipping, which never showed up front the cost of shipping, but definitely offered an upsell for the shipping process that was not fully disclosed. Paid $15 total for shipping on one item just to be told that it will take nine days to create the label and send a shipping confirmation. Nah, super dishonest.

Who Does Business Like This?

#1, starting question to consumer with "what went wrong this time" is very worrisome.
Most folks who are looking at this product are desperate to help their dog and themselves in some instances....I have never, ever, had my account billed until the day of shipment, which, for me, hasn't happened 10 days later. No response to my email inquiry. For all of those who choose to "buy American " this organization is shoddy at best. Very disappointed 😞 Hopefully, I'll receive the product, until then, I feel like I was scammed.

Long wait for receiving it

Waited for six weeks to receive the Barxbuddy II, after only the second use it now is not even being used. I only use the command “stop” which is what was used with the device. Very pleased with it.

Great product, genius idea!

I ordered my BarxBuddy in April and received it today. I found their customer service to be great! When I emailed them to find out where my order was, they responded immediately and sure enough, I got it! I understand the frustration with delays but I also understand the challenges of being a family- owned business. They didn’t anticipate that their product would be so successful and they are doing everything they can to fill all the orders. I think they are wonderful! And yes the BarxBuddy works on my beloved but yappy mini Schnauzer! Thank you BarxBuddy!

Dishonest company with poor customer service

During the ordering process, I was told to press continue to arrive at a confirmation screen (the screen at which I could confirm my order before it was placed). Instead, they debited my account and then attempted to upsell me "lifetime protection". I called to cancel the order IMMEDIATELY, but they refused saying I must take delivery of the product. Further they said if I was unsatisfied then I would have to pay to ship it back. Beware.

I changed my mind about ordering one…

I changed my mind about ordering one item after 30 minutes. They would not cancel the order. Said I'd be given 10.00 off. I continued to insist that I wanted the order canceled. No luck. She said if I returned it I'd have to pay for shipping. The order had just been placed. What terrible policy. Now I'll have to return it when the order could have easily been canceled

Not happy!

I placed my order may 7 2025 my money was taken immediately. A confirmation email sent. I have received no details on shipping or anything. I have received packages from the other side of the world much quicker than this. I have emailed customer support and absolutely no response. Very unprofessional.

Barxbuddy is a no go for me.

I purchased the Barxbuddy back in late March. I was told that shipping may take some time because they are back logged on orders. No problem. About two weeks later I send an email asking about the status. They apologized and said it should ship soon. Finally received the product about a month later from the time that I ordered it. Still no problem. We tried the device on our two dogs. It had no effect on one, and scared the other one causing her to run and hide. It did not control the barking at all, but we tried it several times to be sure over a few weeks. I decided to send the product back. I called customer service and they informed me that their moneyback guarantee is only good for 30 days from purchase date.

I was contacted via email by Barxbuddy and they apologized for the way the transaction was handled over the phone (call center in the Philippines, I’m guessing). But, at the same time, the call center had to get their information from the company. Long story short, along with the apology, they said as long as I had the package shipped back within 30 days of the delivery date, they would offer me a refund. All I had to do was email the tracking number to them. The refund was processed and in my account the next day. I only got $46.92 of my original $56.89 purchase price plus $6 to send it back, but it’s better than nothing, which was the original offer over the phone.
I changed my rating from one star to two stars, basically because their product didn’t work.

I placed my order in April 2025, they took my money of course but have yet to receive any shipment details. I have emailed twice and have gotten no response. They ship from AZ and I live in Oregon. Its extremely ridiculous and unprofessional that they will not respond or refund me.
