Really pissed off that I ordered one and LITERALLY NEVER GOT IT. Now it seems the website is shut down and I can't even get a refund. So freaking pissed off that I took a chance on trying a new company and got screwed. Freak this company!

I purchased January 2022 and just realized I got nothing. 72 usd gone. This WILL be rectified.

I ordered 1 toothbrush and 10 replacement toothbrush heads and after waiting months they arrived. But after a few months it is no longer working. Tried to e-mail but it just bounced back. Unable to acess website as each time I try to access I am told a potential security threat has been detected. If I visit this site, attackers could try to steal information like your passwords, emails, or credit card details. So I have not been able to access website to contact them. Seems like it is one big con!
It took me a long time to decide to spend my money with Bambooi. I was so happy finding a bamboo electric toothbrush, but now I am very disappointed.
I can see from other reviews that I am one of many who have a similar experience. What a shame.

Like so many others, I ordered EcoWhite TM toothpaste from Bambooi.co.uk in February 2022, paid by credit card, nothing has turned up as of December 2022 and the emails are bouncing back. I’ve emailed the accountancy firm which is shown as the registered address on the Companies House website to ask how to get a refund.

Ordered 1 toothbrush and 5 replacement toothbrush heads in June. The website said it was a pre-order and that it would be delivered in October or November. No delivery came. Now emails bounce back, website and social media accounts have disappeared and all these bad reviews suggest there are hundreds of people in the same position as me. There is a report from the Advertising Standards Agency from October available to read online about the company. There is also a Facebook group with more information about the company owner. I've reported to Watchdog. Will report to Trading Standards next and try to get a charge back from my credit card. Such a shame as there was obviously a huge demand for the product and the company could have been really successful if they kept up with orders and delivered when they said they would.

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. Absolute cheats and liars and a waste of energy and space.

Sent dozens of emails, no response, no product. Luckily only bought one item.

Do not buy from them. Please report to watchdog.

I orderded 03/22, didn’t receive anything. Can’t mail them anymore because mail doesn’t exist anymore. Can’t reclaim my money because to much time passed. I am pissed off. Was so happy finding a bamboo electric toothbrush, but now… I am so dissapointed…

I ordered (and paid for) an electric toothbrush and toothpaste from them and it never arrived. Now their email address doesn’t exist.

One product faulty after a few months, one never received. Company not contactable. Reported to Watchdog. There must be thousands of us out of pocket. Company due to be struck off. Thank you to those who have reported the company in various places. Now to try for chargeback at the bank for one brush. The other was bought via PayPal so too much time has passed to claim. Such a shame when we are all trying to help the planet and I researched the best I could to see if the company really cared and were providing a good quality product. Hopefully something better will come along.

Never received product. Sent several emails months back with no response. Tried again to email December 6. 2022 and was rejected that it is no longer in service.

I am one of the few that did receive the toothbrush HOWEVER.... there's Chinese writing on it. since they claim this brush to be made in Germany I instantly got in touch about this. well they wont stop lying to me. they are still claiming its made in Germany and keep promising to send me copies of all their certificates to prove that they are what they claim to be. well fast forward 6 months, the brush fills with water, it still claiming to be charging after being on charge for more than 24hours and i have not had a single response from bambooi about my issues. the website now seems to be closed and I have found a report from ASA detailing their false claims. please check ASA.org and search for bambooi to see the detailed report.
what's worse is I have also found the the owner of the company has filed to basically delete the company entirely within the next two months proving that this has been a big scam from the get go. Lewis James BRYDEN (the scam artist behind this) has basically gotten cheap plastic brushes made in china and has fooled us and lied to us, selling them under the guise that they are European made and made sustainably which is far from the truth

Wanted to give zero stars, preordered end of 2021 and got absolutely nothing. Shame as wanted to support a good idea. Don’t waste your money

Same experience. Ordered Jan 2022 and waited patiently. Looks like company has gone. Loved the eco idea and seems small business could not cope with demand. Bought via credit card and contacted bank 4 Nov 2022 - but appears customers have max 120 days to enable a claim via that route and under section 75 the claim cannot be processed due to min threshold of £100. Recommended Citizens Advice Bureau for further assistance. Lesson learnt - don't wait for product to arrive more than 120 days...

Ordered, I'm one of the few that actually received the items. Poor quality, broke within a couple of weeks. Have emailed numerous times and of course, heard nothing.
Such a great idea but complete shambles of a company. Do NOT buy from them!

I ordered a toothbrush, 6 toothpastes and a comb. Nothing. Total scam. Absolutely appalled that they’ve got away with this. I’ve sent so many emails and messages on socials. Nothing.

What’s the chance that the 5 star reviews all come from their own multiple email accounts? High I’d think.

1 star seems too generous! Same as so many of you, I ordered two of these bamboo electric toothbrushes and have waited and chased and waited patiently but nothing ever arrived. Chaser emails sent and automatic responses received that they were working through a back log of orders, then an email in the summer to say over 50k of them had been despatched. Today I chased by email and that bounced back as undeliverable. I then googled and found all of your complaints. I have found the company on Companies House and the Director Lewis James Bryden in South Shields. I have emailed BBC's consumer show Watchdog today with all the details so maybe Matt Allwright will pop along and pay him a visit on behalf of all of us?! So frustrating to have been scammed in this way, or maybe he just couldn't cope with the response to the marketing of the product. Not sure we will ever see our money back or the toothbrushes now but I will feel a little happier if I see the feature on the BBC.

Same as everyone else here... Paid the fifty quid. 6 months have gone by and I've never received the item and now the website has mysteriously disappeared and it's beginning to feel very dodgy. I'm just hoping I can report it through my bank and get the money back as I have no confidence that bambooi even exists. It seems like I should have done more research but I did a fair amount at the time.

Like many others, I saw this toothbrush and thought it was a great idea. Pre ordered in April 2021, advised delivery would be November. November came and went, emailed to have generic reply that it would be ‘Early 2022’ dispatch. Nothing. It’s now November 22 and still nothing. Spent £50 for this brush that’s never arrived. Annoyed!
