Theory, technique, and practice suddenly make sense, and the progress I’ve made has taken my playing to a whole new level. I only wish I’d found Louisa and Bakerlou ten years earlier — I would have had more time loving my piano playing. Bakerlou Music have changed my musical journey entirely!

Eighteen months ago I was looking for online piano lessons when I happened upon Bakerloumusic and I’m so glad that I did.

I started by working through the set courses to make sure that I understood all the theory as it has been a while since my exams.

I was classically trained, so read music well but I wanted to learn how to play by ear and Louisa has taught me how to do that. Although I’ve found it difficult at times, she is always very encouraging.

The Monday group lessons are a great way of connecting with other like minded people who are on the same journey and we often get to choose the music that we learn.

I joined the Bakerlou music for online piano lessons during covid restrictions and have never looked back. Louisa re-ignited my passion for learning, introducing me to new techniques and styles of music. Having thought, many years ago, I had reached the limit of my ability, Louisa's encouragement enabled me to progress further. The Bakerlou approach has also given me a group of like-minded people to share my learning with.

I honestly has such a great time learning with Louisa She is a fantastic teacher , explaining everything clearly and in a friendly manner . It was fun and relaxed , and I actually looked forward to each session.

I’m so glad Ifound louisa she is so helpful and patient as I do find some of what I’m learning on my piano sometimes very difficult but from following her lead I’m making some progress
