No responsibility over delivery commitments not being met

I ordered a product for next day delivery ahead of the easter weekend. I was pleased to see that the website still boasted next day delivery despite the holiday weekend. I ordered on 1/4/26 and the product was delivered on 8/4/26. When I raised the concern and requested a refund due to costs I subsequently incurred, all I was offered was an apology. They referred me to the delivery terms page and were not receptive to the criticism I made that the information on this page contradicted the information provided at the checkout. I understand why dispatch and delivery would be disrupted over the holiday weekend, which is why I was pleased that they were still advertising it remained available, but was not. Even without the holiday weekend, it was not next day delivery, or even 2 day delivery.

Our next day delivery service is subject to terms and conditions, which note that deliveries operate Monday to Friday and exclude weekends and bank holidays. Your order was placed and dispatched immediately before the Easter bank holiday, when our carriers were not operating, which unfortunately caused the delay.

Spare Parts Order Process was Great

We needed spare parts due to losing some over the years, and had a very easy contact and email communication. I called ahead of time so that staff were aware and they followed up very promptly and we had the order all sorted within the hour. Thank you!

Cot is faulty & customer service disgrace

Cot is faulty, unsafe and not fit for purpose. The drop side panel was jamming and only dropped after 4 times or so of trying very loud and bangs. Contacted boots after 2 weeks of purchasing told to contact baby more so I did. They wanted videos and images which I sent they then requested I dismantle the cot for what they thought was the problem so I did and discovered a loose screw that would not screw back in making the hinge for the drop side faulty taking and sending videos and photos again. After this more days went by that I had to co sleep with my baby (dangerous) but I had no cot for her. After sending a stern email stating this and that this is not good enough I got a reply saying they will send a new drop side panel out or I have to dismantle full cot and send back for a refund! I choose to receive the drop side panel but request 2 legs for either side incase the loose hinge has damaged the hinge attachments on the legs and received an email back requesting more videos and videos if this damage!! Now 2 weeks later all with the first 4 weeks of purchasing I still have a faulty cot, a baby co sleeping with me and no replacement arranged!! I will be contacting my bank to obtain a refund if this is not sorted today as it’s now friday/ the weekend so nothing will be delivered on the weekend! Absolute disgrace of a company considering what a cot is used for, had this been a shop it would of been replaced or refunded same day!!
So following on from this the replacement that was sent out is also faulty!! The whole drop side cot come away whilst my baby was holding it which I caught on video!! Again I contacted baby more and sent the video and photos to which their reply was to collect the cot inspect and replace if found faulty! So in the mean while I am to have no cot?! Right across Christmas…no I have purchased a new cot…and stated my consumer rights to them it was then they said if they collect and find a fault a refund would be issued!! I have emails to prove this! Never had so much messing around when it is clearly faulty and dangerous! My baby could have been seriously injured. I have replied stating if they want to send someone out to dismantle it and collect they can but I am unable to do it I hve bad physical health and can not keep paying someone to dismantle and reassemble it…I am still awaiting their final reply before I take it further!

Thank you for your message. We understand how distressing this situation has been for you, particularly given that it involves your baby’s safety, and we would like to respond clearly and factually to the points you have raised.

To clarify the timeline and Babymore’s involvement as the manufacturer:

The cot was purchased on 17/10/2025.

Your first contact with us was on 07/11, after being advised by Boots to contact the manufacturer directly.

At that stage, we requested video evidence so the issue could be assessed accurately. This was received on 18/11, showing the dropside jamming.

On 21/11, you reported a loose screw and difficulty attaching the dropside panel.

On 26/11, we offered you two clear options in line with the Consumer Rights Act:

collection of the cot for a full refund, or

replacement parts to resolve the issue.

You chose to proceed with replacement parts, and following your request, on 28/11 we sent replacement Leg A, Leg B, and a dropside panel.

On 15/12, you advised that the replacement dropside had fallen. At that point, we immediately offered to collect the cot for a full investigation.

At every stage, we have acted promptly, reasonably, and in full compliance with the Consumer Rights Act, providing repair, replacement, or the option of a refund. We have not refused a refund at any point; however, as the manufacturer (and not the retailer), we are required to inspect the product to determine whether there is a manufacturing defect before authorising a refund.

Requesting photos or videos is standard and necessary to assess safety-critical products remotely. Likewise, offering collection for inspection is both reasonable and required to establish the cause of the issue. This is not a delay tactic, nor is it a refusal to resolve the matter.

Really impressed with the customer…

Really impressed with the customer service - we urgently needed a replacement part for our second hand Air Motion Gliding Crib and the team were able to get one sorted and sent out on next day delivery for us which was incredible given we were just two days away from having our baby. Babymore Mimi 2 in 1 Pram & Pushchair

We bought this pram with a little bit of apprehension as it was priced a lot lower than other prams on the market. However we were not disappointed. It is sturdy, easy to manoeuvre, and most importantly our little one is snug as a bug in it. Furthermore, the pram developed an issue after using it for about 18 months (might have been due to me opening and closing it incorrectly.) We had forgotten to register for warranty but contacted Babymore anyway. Unlike some companies who are quick to take your money, but slow to resolve any issues, Babymore swiftly resolved the issue with minimum fuss. Will be definitely recommending to family and friends.

Pushchair is a death trap!

My baby is 11 weeks old and this pushchair has broken on us twice with the different chassis frames tried. The first fault occurred after just 3 and a half weeks of my baby being born, to which an entire wheel snapped off. When asking for a refund, we were told that their warranty states they should try to fix a fault before issuing a refund. They wanted to send us replacement parts with a 'how to fix' video for us to fix ourselves, to which we declined. They then offered to send a replacement chassis (frame). We felt we were left with no choice but to accept a new chassis even after expressingwe had lost confidencein this pushchair now and were concernedfor our babies safety in it. Again, around 3 weeks later, we endured another fault, the entire frame kept collapsing whilst walking along, again causing an extreme safety concern and near miss accidents. We contacted them immediately, requesting yet again a full refund for the return of all goods. Several email back and forth, with videos sent off the faults (as requested) they have only now agreed to do a partial refund for the return off all the pushchair parts / accessories which shows they admit to their pushchair being of poor quality. However we are still fighting for a full refund as we bought this pushchair as a complete travel system so when we replace this, we would be replacing it with another travel system. We have explained that keeping the original car seat will be of no use to us as we will be unable to connect to the new pushchair and we use the car seat attachmenton the pushchair alot. However since my last email 5 days ago, I am yet to even have any acknowledgement of it, yet alone a reply with an update on my grievances as this is still not been resolved in my opinion. Our overall experience with both Babymore and the UK baby centre where we purchased the travel system from have both so far been extremely unsympathetic, with lack of concern to my babies safety. It is clear that their products have bypassed quality control inspections. I would absolutely NOT recommend this pushchair company and will now think twice about using the warehouse again in which I purchased this from too.

Unsafe Pushchair & Poor Quality

I’ve only used my Baby More pushchair for over 2 months and the front wheel detached on two different occasions which represent a huge safety risk. Baby More blamed “user error” instead of admitting a serious design flaw. The carrycot & footmuff apron were also faulty.

They offered a DIY fix or repair (with possible charges).

Now I see these prams are reduced by 50% in their site, in my opinion, a clear sign of how poor the quality is.

A pram wheel should NEVER fall off. I would not trust this product with my child’s safety.

We’re sorry to hear about the issues you’ve experienced with your pushchair. We note that the product had been in use for nearly 8 months before the concern was raised. At that stage, an inspection is necessary to determine whether the problem relates to a manufacturing defect or other causes.

As explained in our correspondence, we offered to arrange collection and inspection at no cost to you if a defect was confirmed. We also highlighted that the issue may have occurred if the wheel had not been fully clicked into place during assembly, something our engineers can verify only upon inspection.

If I could give 0 stars I would

If I could give 0 stars I would. Bought a pram from here and it was so poor quality the carrycot dipped after a very short amount of time as something had slipped out of place. This made it dangerous as it was pointing downwards. The chassis was an issue from the start it was really difficult for to put up and down and appeared to be dipped from the start. When I contacted babymore they told me this was normal and would not replace. Inevitably as there was a clear fault the issues got worse and my pram would not collapse at all. This left me stranded when I had gone out one day with a friend and was unable to collapse it to get in the car so I had to walk miles to bustop to get home. I ended up having to buy a new pram as they did not offer a resolution. When I got back in touch with them and asked for a partial refund they refused this and offered a new chassis. They themselves damaged it when opening the box but said they are sending me it anyway as it was only a ‘good will gesture’. Avoid this company at all costs.

*In regards to babymores response the issues were present from the point of purchase and they told me they would charge me to send the item back for inspection. Something I could not afford as I had already purchased a new pram due to them telling me the issues were normal the first time I complained. I did not really have a choice but to accept the marked product as there was no alternative offer, the pram was poor quality hence why it was damaged so easily by a member of staff. The pram lasted less than 4 months so not sure how it was a wear issue and if it was then again it is a poor quality product.*

We can see the pram was purchased through a third-party retailer in August 2024, and they initially handled the matter. Based on the photos and information provided, we were unable to identify any manufacturing defect—the issues appeared to be related to use. We requested to collect the chassis for inspection to confirm the claimed fault, but this was declined.

Despite this, we still offered a replacement chassis purely as a goodwill gesture, as we had no formal confirmation of a defect due to your refusal of our investigation. The chassis sent was not damaged—there was a minor mark not visible to the naked eye, which was communicated and accepted by you prior to dispatch.

Given the circumstances, and that a replacement was not required under our policy, we believe we went above and beyond to support you.

I like it overall

I like it overall, but I wish the design was a bit more practical. It’s a little tricky to assemble, and I had to watch a youtube video to figure out the setup. Once it’s all sorted, though, it works well.

From the moment we set it up

From the moment we set it up, I knew this was a great buy. The material feels premium, and it’s super easy to use. My baby seems really comfortable, which is the most important thing. Would 100% recommend the Air Motion Gliding crib.

My 30kg cot was left downstairs to collect, even though my building has a spacious lift.
Street drop off is part of Babymore’s delivery conditions, I wish I knew this before ordering.

You would expect a reputable large goods company to deliver to the doorstep like Argos etc.

As we use a 3rd -party carrier service, we have to adhere to their policies, and unfortunately, their drivers are not insured to enter properties. While we know this isn’t ideal, this is standard practice for most 3rd -party carriers, and we genuinely wish we had more control over the process. While we’re not yet at the size of companies with dedicated delivery teams, we certainly hope to grow and improve our service in the future.

Our delivery terms do specify that couriers can only deliver to the building entrance, and we always recommend that customers check this information before placing an order to avoid any surprises and to ensure it meets their needs and circumstances. That said, we completely understand that this may have been an unexpected inconvenience, and we truly appreciate your feedback.
