Nearly no follow-up
I’ve applied to multiple positions listed by the Brussels office of Axis Group, each time submitting my CV. Unfortunately, despite these efforts, I have not received any form of communication or acknowledgment. Not even a simple message to indicate that my application had been received, let alone feedback or follow-up.
I understand that not every applicant will be a fit for a role, but basic courtesy in recruitment involves some level of responsiveness. It’s disappointing that a firm in the HR sector would overlook this important aspect of candidate experience. Especially when applying to several different openings, one would reasonably expect that at least one human interaction.
I had high hopes for this office and their potential to engage meaningfully with applicants. Unfortunately, the complete absence of communication makes it difficult to view the process as anything other than dismissive. I sincerely hope that Axis Group reviews its candidate engagement approach especially in Brussels to be more transparent, proactive, and respectful.
