I asked Aviator to create a model of a DC3 aircraft that I flew in the 1970’s wherein, as a Commercial Pilot, with Instrument and Multiple Engine ratings, flew 20 skydivers to their target and successful jump. The design was created by me and Aviator far exceeded my most optimistic expectations in recreating a model of my accomplishments.

Great product. The team at Aviator Gear made sure I was satisfied with the patch design I provided them with before sending it to production. Great customer service as well - I never had to ask for anything since they were with me throughout the whole process to ensure I was happy. The only thing I’d say I wasn’t happy with (and I’m really nitpicking here) was the amount of time it took to make and ship the patches to me. I would have liked to have had them sooner, but really can’t complain about that even since they turned out so well.

The customer service was great and the product was exactly how I envisioned it. Unfortunately they sent me the wrong package. Fortunately, the order I received was someone in my town who also received mine. We swapped our orders and got it right.

Aviator Gear was great to work with. They were clear on the timeline from design to production. They did an amazing job on the design. I was very pleased. I had reached out to several shops for making squadron patches. Aviator Gear was the only company said they could make my design and it was perfect. They are for sure the patch company I would recommend above all others.

The amount of detail captured in my patch, as well as the revision incorporation process was next-level. I got EXACTLY what I wanted in the end and am a very happy customer. I will use Aviator Gear again.

The model was great, emails answered quickly. The only problem was it took months to get the order. Order placed in August and it was after the first of the year and many means a phone call before it arrived.

I have ordered custom patches from aviator gear so far around 10 times or so. Each time has been an absolute pleasure doing business with this company! While Aviator Gear always delivers a quality product, the design process and timelines continue to get worse. When “designing” my latest patch, they continued to do the bare minimum throughout multiple email exchanges, often ignoring my requests for changes or cropping images versus actual design work. It ended up that I had to do the image in PowerPoint to get something actually usable. Then there is the production timeline. It is obvious this is a high demand company, but the production timeline is now becoming untenable. However, the end product is always high quality and looks great. It is getting to that point that is pushing me to other companies that provide similar products in a much more desirable timeline and design experience.

Aviator gear did a great job on helping with the design of my patches. I made several changes to design and color, they were great at getting the changes done promptly and at no additional charges, I plan on having several more items done as well

I had an idea for a logo for our PA32 fly-in group, but I am a horrible artist. Had an idea that I sketched on a piece of paper at a hotel. Aviator gear turned it into a cool patch and sticker. I was so happy with their ability to turn my bad drawing into something cool that I had them also do a model of my PA32 (you can see the logo they did below the model).

Great follow-up, willingness to turn around change requests quickly, and fast and high quality final product.
