Definitely using AutoEurope next time
Fast, easy booking experience. Unfortunately due to Covid19 we have had to cancel trip from NZ to France in July. Emailed cancellation, and received confirmation within 12 hours that a full refund will be processed and paid in next 4-6 weeks. No hassle, no arguments. Will definitely be using AutoEurope when travel restrictions are lifted.

I booked and waited over 48 hours for confimation. Eventually I was informed the car I wanted was not av`l but I could have another car at a much higher price. Another company gave me instant confirmation and the car I required.

Our experience with Avis Rentals was the worst in my life
Our experience with Avis Rentals Fiumicino Airport on 21 Dec 2019 is the worst I have ever had. I did the booking through auto Europe. A three day hire of a car (Lancia Ypsilon or similar) pick up time 1 pm. By 3.30 we were exiting the building in an old Fiat Punto, no wheel trims, reeking of cigarette smell. A tank supposedly full but only showing 3/4. I had prepaid $112.00 NZ. I checked my visa and discovered that an additional $511.26 has been taken from my visa.
Never again.

Booked a rental car for my trip from Melbourne to Sydney, needed to make some changes to pick up and drop off. No problems, simple phone call and everything done. Amended confirmation in my in-box within minutes of getting off the phone, don't recall to whom I spoke, but an excellent result. Very satisfied with their service.
