We cannot thank Sharon, Jane, Lee, Lucy and all the team at Austin’s enough for the professionalism, guidance, kindness and compassion they gave us when dealing with our son Kevin’s funeral. They were so kind and caring and nothing was too much trouble, this helped us and our family get through an extremely difficult time in our lives. My family and I received an excellent level of service from Austin’s recently. Every member of staff we came into contact with either in the office, at the chapel of rest and on the day of the funeral were professional, respectful and courteous at all times. Janine was our funeral planner and she was so helpful and achieved the right combination of being friendly yet professional at all times. We appreciated her help and input very much. Everyone at Austin’s assisted us to arrange the funeral exactly as we wanted it to be. Thank you.

Loosing my partner of 43 years was the hardest experience, but June at the Welwyn Garden City office provided a level of support, compassion and professionalism that made the entire process manageable and deeply respectful. From my first visit to the office, June treated me with genuine warmth and empathy and guided me through every decision. On the day everything was executed flawlessly. From the first contact with Austin's (using the 24 hour response number) until the day of the funeral all the people that I dealt with at Austin's to organise my father's funeral were professional, friendly and respectful. I benefitted from their experience and their compassion. They offered calm advice, gentle prompts and responded to my approach in grief. I think that they would provide a personal response to anyone dealing with the process that follows the death of a loved one without judgement.

Everything from the removal of my wife's body to the final service was conducted with great care and respect. Everyone was very helpful and caring.

We felt we were in good hands from the moment we met with the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and there care and guidance in preparing the service was invaluable at what was a sad and difficult time.

Everyone was so polite and dignified. I love how Austin's Funreral Home collaborates with local florists and cemeteries to have everything billed to one entity. It makes for such a seamless procedure during such a difficult time. I highly recommend Austin's.

We were so grateful for the exceptional care we received. Caroline and the team at Austins' communication was clear, timely, and incredibly thoughtful at every stage. They showed genuine consideration for our family’s needs and wishes, guiding us with sensitivity during a very difficult time. The level of service was outstanding. They were professional, respectful, and dealt with everything with real compassion. We could not have asked for better support.

Austin’s went the extra mile. Nothing was too much trouble for them from the first time we walked into their shop in Ware to dropping us off at the wake. We were given help and support at every step.
We were very fussy and wanted horses and carriage for my Mum’s funeral but everything had to be colour co-ordinated with the funeral flowers, including the horses feathers and the accessories the undertakers wore. Everything looked absolutely stunning and I fully recommend Austin’s 100%. I am happy to provide photos of the horses on request.

Perfect, from the first contact to conversations with Lee regarding the service, Austin’s empathetic support throughout our sad journey was perfect. If you are lucky enough to have the wonderful Veronika to support you she’ll end up feeling like a friend.

I was treated with kindness, sympathy empathy and respect by everyone involved at Austin's. Particular thanks to Jane for all the time and trouble she took to guide me through the arrangements process, Neil, for supporting me on the day and Sharon for her advice afterwards. Of particular note was the way calls were always returned and within promised timescales. Very rare nowadays !

The service was first class, every step of arranging my Mothers funeral was made uncomplicated and the end result was everything we wanted.
