I ordered premium business cards with Raised Spot UV. Aura automatically adds Soft Touch Lamination with that finish, but neither the ordering process nor the proof warned that the matte areas would appear dramatically lighter than the Spot UV areas.

The entire design was black ink printed on white card stock. There were no other ink colors in the artwork. The approved proof showed a consistent rich-black card with the Spot UV creating a glossy effect over that black. The finished card instead reads as a warm gray background with a black Spot UV logo.

Aura says the cards were manufactured correctly. My issue is that the proofing and customer service did not prepare me for the finished result. Had I known, I would have adjusted the artwork before approving production.

Aura declined to reprint and offered 10% off a new order. Keep your 10% 😂

I also noticed a recurring theme in several other 1-star reviews: customers raise concerns about the finished product or ordering process, and the owner’s response often focuses on explaining why Aura followed its specifications rather than addressing whether the customer was reasonably prepared for the outcome. That closely mirrors my experience.

AVOID. Unclear ordering. Poor service.

We attempted to order 50 invitations consisting of 5 separate designs. The ordering system was not clear in how quantity would be applied across multiple designs, as we entered 50 copies alongside 5 designs.

Based on the wording shown at the point of purchase, we understood the quantity selected to refer to the number of complete sets (i.e. each set made up of the 5 designs). This is a reasonable interpretation given the language used and the context of ordering a coordinated invitation suite. If you were to take a screenshot of the website, ask it how you should order, it tells you to do it like this.

After receiving the order, it became apparent that the company interprets the system differently, with the total quantity being split across all uploaded designs. We had only received 10 invites. This is not clearly or explicitly stated at the point of order in a way that removes ambiguity.

We raised this immediately and explained our interpretation. Despite this, the company maintained that the system was “clear”, while also acknowledging an alternative interpretation exists. That in itself demonstrates the issue: the wording is not unambiguous.

I offered to pay the additional £30 (difference between 50 and 250 copies. But the company insisted we must order the full amount at a cost of £68, later revised down to £49 + VAT + shipping (which comes to same cost as their initial offer)

The company also stated they would “respond with the facts” if a review was left. This review reflects our experience and is supported by full written correspondence.

The core issue is that the ordering interface is not sufficiently explicit about how quantities are allocated across multiple designs, and that lack of clarity directly led to a mismatch between what was reasonably expected and what was supplied. If it was clear at the time of ordering, we would have ordered correctly!

What is made even worse, is that even if they were correct on wording, we received:

13 copies of page 4
12 copies of page 5.

This means we have wasted £40 on wedding invitations.

I have used Aura twice for my sister’s ‘save the date’s and day/evening invites. I can not put into words how helpful Nicola was with the wedding invites! I struggled to put exactly into words what I wanted and she made sure they came out perfectly (even when I needed help understanding how to send properly) and they did! Her customer service and patience was supreme and the bride was elated!
For the second round Stefania handled the day and evening wedding invitations recently and even matched the colour to the originals she was amazing too! I honestly again can’t help but say how helpful it is having a professional and friendly service, very communicative every step of the way and so helpful on the phone. In a beautifully stressful time like weddings, having the most lovely staff (and beautiful silky metallic stationery!) is just what you need!

Aura Print is FANTASTIC!! I've come back to them over 10 times and have also tried other places to print custom playing and tarot cards, and NO ONE has their level of high quality, customer care, patience, and swiftness. 10/10 enterprise and will definitely continue to come back, as I have for over a year for different projects!

I have been using Aura Print for years and it's about time I left them the review they deserve.

They have been absolutely wonderful from the get-go, and are always very helpful and communicative with every project. I've made A4 & A5 art prints in a whole range of foil colours, business cards, packaging for products, custom cut paper bookmarks, and also ordered normal prints & bookmarks with no special effects. The rare time anything went wrong (we are talking once or twice in well over 50 orders I've made over the years), they were gracious and helpful and we worked together to fix any issues.

Their website & instant quote system is very easy to use and very useful for figuring out what I can order quickly. Their team in every single department is friendly & open to answering questions, no matter how silly they may have sounded to me!

I truly can't recommend them enough, any time someone asks where I got my products made I proudly tell them Aura Print. I will continue to use them for a long time to come, and already have more orders planned for the coming weeks.

Been using AuraPrint for almost 2 years and their foils can't be beat. Pricing is a bit on the higher end of foil prints, however I have never had an issue; you're paying for quality and service.

I've been getting foiled art prints made by Aura Print for about a year now, and every time they have been amazing. I changed to them after I kept having difficulties with another company and products kept arriving damaged, but from the printing to the packaging to the customer care, I can tell that Aura really care.

The print quality has always been incredible and crisp. The foil has always been brilliant. They always warn that they have upto 1mm in movement for printing, but honestly, I've always felt they have come out perfect. Every email and proof they send they go into exceptional detail on what to expect, what to look out for and any changes that may need to be made to increase quality, which I am grateful for. Finally the packaging is well cared for, the wrapping is so nicely done, it's like opening a present which I get so excited about and they take the proper precautions to make sure that the prints get to me safely and protected.

There has only been once where I had a delay in the shipping, but that was because they noticed an issue on their end and wanted to make sure that I got the best, and I would rather a delayed shipment because they only want to give you the best, than a rushed job where the products aren't up to a high standard. They even put extra prints in the order.

They've always been professional, friendly and patient with every order and question and demand that I have had.

I don't see myself going anywhere else for my prints. 🥰

An absolutely first rate experience every step of the way. I wanted a specialist printer for 78 card oracle deck, but in a small business card size. Aura print have more flexibility than any other printer I found. Also, I'm not the easiest of customers, because this is the first order I've made of a card deck and I don't really know my way around paper types, finishes etc. The team could not have been more helpful as I worked my way through options. We’ve been using Aura Print for months now and consistently order around 4,000 flyers per week. At this point, we’ve spent thousands with them, so this isn’t a one-off experience.

Print quality is extremely consistent. Every batch arrives exactly how we expect it, with no variation or issues. That reliability matters when you’re running ongoing campaigns and can’t afford inconsistencies.

Customer support is also strong. Responses are quick, clear, and actually helpful, which is rare. When you’re ordering at volume, that level of responsiveness makes a real difference.

The only improvement I’d suggest is more flexibility with quantities. Right now you’re locked into set order sizes like 4,000, 5,000, or 10,000. Ideally, we’d be ordering around 8,000 per week, but the current system forces either under-ordering or jumping to a higher bracket, which increases cost per flyer in practice. Understandable if it’s a system limitation, but it would add a lot of value.

Aside from that, no complaints. Reliable supplier, high quality output, and strong support.
