Great experience from the beginning Tim was wonderful ,the boys did a great job packing up the apartment 👍great service , and also thank you to Shefali for all the endless phone calls 😉

The estate manager that was hired to help clean out my parents' house after they passed hired Atlas to ship many items to me. Being in a fog of grief, I was not well prepared to receive a shipment. However, AJ from Atlas had my back. He called multiple times with ETA and status, and when he arrived and found the truck would not fit through my gate, he kept a positive and cheery attitude, told me he'd be back in a smaller truck and I was not worried.

In the days between (Memorial Day holiday weekend), AJ kept me updated and was always professional and polite.

The delivery was very smooth. The team had everything listed and labelled and kept me busy marking things off the list. They communicated super well together, always sharing tips and encouraging each other, and with me, making sure things fit and went where they needed to go.

Now that I have unpacked the bulk of these precious and sentimental items, I am even more appreciative of the careful packing and wrapping that was done. The painting that my grandmother made in 1938 is with me now, whole and happy.

I would not recommend this company to save my life. They are extremely unprofessional and great at lying. They talk first like they are going to do everything in their power to make sure the move occurs in a safe and timely manner, well that is of course until the actual move begins. Be warned they will take your money and upcharge you for every penny they can. They know your in a tough bind so they make sure to take advantage of the situation. Do yourself a favor and go with a more professional moving company such as Two Men and a Truck. You will have a much better experience.

This company is now working under the name Pinnacle Moving Group. They have fake reviews on here from over the past month because they are working on their next set of victims. Unfortunately I am one of them.

This company is a complete scam. They changed the agreed-upon cost when they arrived, showed up with a rented truck (major red flag), and demanded the deposit be wired—another red flag we should’ve heeded.

After the move, they became nearly impossible to reach. And when they finally did respond, all we got were lies. They have essentially stolen both our money and our belongings.

Do not trust this company. You’ve been warned.

LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS - I had them booked for a move. After hearing a few horror stories in general on social media about moving I looked into this company a bit more. I tried to call to get someone to look at my items, no answer. No answer to emails either. I did not want to get stuck in a situation where they had my items, everything I own on a truck with lord knows who driving it. I canceled them, called the big three - the REAL atlas, mayflower and allied. All of their quotes were about equal to each other and seemed much more realistic. These guys are SCAMMERS and BROKERS. If you have them booked, just fore-fit your money honestly and get a new company who wont steal your stuff, break it or hold it for ransom. Just cancel. Don’t get yourself into a bad situation. Their quotes are too good to be true. DO NOT LET THEM TAKE YOUR ITEMS.

Please Do NOT use this company. We had a terrible experience. First of all they quoted us a price and we went with them. They never came out to look at the property etc with myself even emailing them to ask when someone was coming out,no response. Then they came to pack us up. And the salesman said the foreman would be out there in an hour to hour and half. Well the packers started anyway and got everything torn apart and most stuff packed and then comes the foreman. He did a walk thru and finally told us it would be 3times the amount quoted!! We argued and argued etc. and finally they negotiated the price down a bit bc we were desperate. And then when we finally got moved. They didn’t deliver as promised. And we called and called and customer service kept telling us they would call us back. I finally received a callback almost 2weeks later saying they would deliver the next day and I would owe them another 8200.00 dollars!!! We said no way,and we wouldn’t get our stuff. We finally negotiated it down to another 5200.00 !!! And we still don’t have all of our stuff!! Do NOT use this company ever!!!

Do NOT use this company! I wish I could attach pictures and correspondence to this. The actual cost was more than double the quote. The actual mover said that Atlas doesn’t control the price and that their bid doesn’t matter in essence. The mover would not take items that I paid extra for and I paid for “professional “ packaging. The mover was Giovanni Van Lines out of Carrollton Tx. They put clothing like suits, tuxes, Dress shirts and ties with dirty tools. I provided pictures and Atlas did nothing, they wouldn’t file a claim, assist me making a claim against the carrier or anything.

I did not go with this company. When I told them I was not going with them I received the nastiest most unprofessional text from the representative that I received the quote from. Hopefully employee calls and texts are monitored, but his response confirmed that I made the right choice. Plus they asked for over 1/2 down up front. Reputable movers do not require payment until delivery.

Only use this company if you want to be moved by a pair of extortionists. My move ended up costing $2,000 more than it should have. The movers put a hole in the wall at delivery. Delivery time changed 3 timed. When they finally did arrive, I was not home and they threatened to immediately leave. Do not use these people.

Buyer beware, my experience was much like the other 1 star reviewers. Atlas is a broker but does not clearly state it. The binding $3,500 estimate I received was not honored by the actual carrier Atlas subcontracted with costing me an addtional $1,300. Unpacking and furniture reassembly was not performed at delivery despite being written in the contract! Items were missing and broken so I had to file a claim. Long story short both Atlas and the carrier, Indeed Movers, stopped responding to status inquiries on my claim. Turns out, Atlas has changed it's name and is now operating as Northern Relocation and Indeed went out of business. I filed a complaint with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).

Do not use this company!! They are NOT a legit moving company. They broker deals and steal money from innocent people. I was lied to and there is no one available to help! Calls go to an international call center. There is NO owner, manager, billing dept or sales manager to assist!! I was taken for $1800, and am working diligently to get my funds back. I don’t want to see this happen to another innocent person trying to move across the country.

If we could go back in time we would have never used this company to move. They are brokers and the company the assigned to us (all seasons moving and storage, also avoid) came and packed our items and after the truck was loaded, told my husband it would cost us $9,000 more than what we were quoted. Luckily my husband did not sign the paper and we got a lawyer. In Texas it is illegal to change the estimate after the truck is more than half loaded, so thankfully with a letter from our lawyer, the initial price stood. We were supposed to get out items August 15th, we called and no update.. was constantly told out things would be here the next week, we were ignored over and over and all all seasons would do would supposedly call the guy, but never give us a call back. We finally received our items towards the end of September after letters from our lawyer and bothering them every single day: a few items are missing so far, nothing major but still frustrating.

DON’T USE THIS COMPANY! We has a experience using Atlas Mover Group. They are not an actual moving company. They are a broker. The company did an inventory over the phone. The estimate was grossly underestimated by 50%. Ultimately costing me twice as much when the actual moving company came out. They did an inadequate job of arranging the actual shipped and it left me to do it myself. The Atlas people ultimately would not return my phone calls. They charged $5500. There services were worth far less.

Please do not use this company. I received someone else’s belongings and some of my boxes were missing as well as some goods damaged. They take their time responding. When you call it goes straight to voice mail. Please read your contract because they hire “sister companies “ and my experience was not good. To this date the only response that I have received since finally being able to submit my claim was that , I would be receiving $0.00 dollars for my missing items. I did forget to submit the pictures. They still haven’t addressed the problem with me receiving someone else’s goods! This is atrocious!!! Do not use them. I paid $8,000.00 for my move and I did not get my moneys worth. They will stay in touch until they get your money.

The experience was very professional, fast and ease my anxiety. It was a last minute move and everything went smooth. I would recommend to everyone.

RUN RUN RUN, Do not use this company!! We needed items moved from New Jersey to South Carolina. WE called and had John Cooper as our salesman if you can call him that. We told him over the phone what items we needed to move, he told us what square footage would be needed on the truck. We emphasized what delivery date we needed the items which was 08/24/2024. He quoted us a price and guaranteed the delivery date and we signed the contract. The moving team arrived 4 days before the guaranteed delivery date. The movers informed us that the price quoted for that amount of space was wrong, and the salesman always get it wrong and more space would be needed plus there was a fee for materials used which wasn't expected or told to us. So being we needed the items moved we paid the extra money for the extra space required and materials. I called John Cooper to state my concern over the new price, left a voicemail and never received a callback. My wife attempted to call John Cooper but would only get his voicemail and no callback. My wife used a friends phone to call John Cooper and behold he answered, once she told him who she was the COWARD quickly transferred her to customer service with no help there. Once we arrived at our location and hadn't heard anything we called and were told there was a 4-7 day window for delivery. That timeframe came and went and several calls were made and we were informed now that it could take between 2-30 days for delivery. We spoke with another SCAMMER named Emmit who seamed to be sympathetic and stated that John Coopers actions were unacceptable and would be handled. We were told our items were sitting in a warehouse in Maryland. Then we were told that we could pay another 1500.00 ransom to have our items delivered the next day. We had no choice since we needed the items so we paid. THIS COMPANY USES SHADY AND ILLEGAL PRACTICES AND HOLDS YOUR ITEMS RANSOM FOR MORE MONEY. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. JOHN COOPER IS A COWARD AND AND A SCAMMER ALONG WITH EMMIT AND EVERYONE ELSE WHO WORKS THERE.

This is a scam company. They sent a rented Penske truck with an illegal driver. He had no U.S. driver’s license and spoke no English. I paid to have my golf cart moved from Fl to Tx, but no way could they move it as the Penske truck had no ramp. I lost $3200 with this fly by night company. Don’t use them.

Atlas Mover Group was fine until our stuff arrived after moving from MN to CA. The truck driver with our stuff was not an Atlas employee, he was contracted out, and was horrible. He said he cannot deliver to our house because we live on a slight hill and the truck is too big. He wanted to charge us another $1,000 to rent a smaller truck. When I call Atlas customer service about this, they said they could not do anything because it was in his hands now. Throughout this experience, we tried to contact someone at Atlas or the original people we talked to and no one would return our calls. This was 2 months ago, we have been trying to talk to someone and still cannot get a hold of anyone. We ended up having to quickly rent a storage unit and pay the truck driver extra to move our stuff to it. We had no other choice. Part of the almost $10,000 we originally paid was for movers to unload and set up our furniture the same way they did when packing it. Instead, we had to get a U-Haul, pack it with everything from the storage unit, and move it ourselves. Please do not book with a company like Atlas that will screw you over.

Scammed! I living this mess right now! Don’t do it!

This is an add on to my review of this scam company from January. After 2-3months of waiting and filing out paperwork and sending pictures they issued $93 check for $1700!dollars of damages, busted tv, dining room table upside down on the floor of the truck, no pads used on anything, but the had lots on the truck! Total ripoff’s! It’s amazing how they have tons of good reviews just pop up in the last month or so, and how I couldn’t find them on google to review there! ALL THE RECENT REVIEWS ARE SHORT,WORDED SIMPLY AND SEEM BY PEOPLE WITH LITTLE COMMAND OF ENLISH!!!! BIGGEST RIP OFF SCAM IN THE WORLD!!! Use a nationally acclaimed company like Allied, or ATLAS VAN LINES!!! Atlas moving group is fraud! No office at the address on the claim check or envelope. Ghost Company
