I am writing to express my severe dissatisfaction with this company’s shipping service and their complete disregard for their customers - mostly because its been pointed out to them the horrible shipping experiences and yet, they do nothing. An order from my customer for a simple poster was placed on July 26th and has only just arrived, tomorrow is September 1st.
I had asked for a reprint in mid-August due to the courier company loosing the package and I explicitly requested expedited shipping on the reprinted item. Instead, the item was sent via standard Canada Post with tracking. The tracking information has repeatedly delayed. The delivery date was slated for August 24th (the second delivery date), then the 25, then 26…onward, and the package just arrived today, August 31st.
The failure to fulfill a basic request for expedited handling is unacceptable. This egregious delay has cost me both a customer and my own professional credibility. And a loss for me is also a loss for this company. This has not been the only time this has happened, it’s randomly constant.

I love Art of Where and have been using them as my Print on Demand for my Etsy shop since 2014. But there is no way you can build your business with them. I recently had quite a few orders some were shipped on time and quite a few were delayed an extra week which made from ordering to shipping almost 3 weeks which is crazy. No one contacts you to inform you of the delays, no contact what so ever. You have to email them and ask why there is a delay and it takes them 2 days to reply to your emails and usually it's about quality control and they had to remake or reprint the items, so your orders get pushed back for their mistakes. So I have to contact all my customers and hope that they won't be furious about the extra delays. Lucky most of my customers are great and repeat buyers, but you get the odd customer who wants to cancel the order. Etsy does not tolerate late dispatched orders and tell me my shop is not visible because I had 7 late dispatched orders from AOW, so I get hardly any sales for months and months because shoppers cannot see my items on Etsy because my Shop is hidden. So you have no chance of building a business with AOW. I have used other print on demand sites and can get my orders out within 2-3 days. AOW quality is great, their tote bags and pillow cover are great but don't like that they overlock and not stitch their scarves and some of their clothing so I have stopped selling them, they just look really cheap. Wish they had quicker production times and a quicker email response and that they would contact me when there are production delays.

Creating was somewhat tedious and poorly explained, and upon finishing a design i was forced to erase my hour of work because you cant save without an account, and it doesnt tell you that when you try to save, and making an account forces you to leave the design page, erasing your design. Fine to use if you're patient and make an account first.

Maybe I expected too much, but the production times were surprisingly long. I actually had to place my wholesale order while my samples were still being made, because waiting for them would have pushed production out another month and I would have missed my event. For the same timeframe, I could have sourced samples and completed production overseas for less.

The tote bags and pouches look great. The silk scarves are just okay—the hem finish makes them look cheaper than the fabric deserves, and the limited greyscale color range is disappointing.

That said, communication has been wonderful. Gail has been fantastic—responsive, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout the process.

I have been an Art of Where user now for many years and have always been pleased with their products and customer service. I recently went beyond pleased and was delighted. I had an out of stock item that I needed quickly and the team stepped up with both understanding my situation and completion of the item quicker than anticipated.

It is important to understand and respect their turnaround times they provide and account for that in your ordering process.

I do not hesitate to recommend them and will continue to do so.

I was really impressed with the quality of their printing and the fabric on my tote bags, make-up bags, cross-body purse........I couldn't get them out of my bag fast enough for clients where buying them. My clients are like walking billboard, constantly being asked where they got the beautiful bag. I"m happy to have requested a much much larger order. Their customer service is amazing. As a new client, they helped me with the correct sizing for my art to be placed on their template that resulted in amazing quality of my art. They are very helpful with any questions you might. So not only is the quality superior, so is their customer service. If the only thing I could say badly is the the time required to make the product (only becasue we are so excited to receive them), but understand that these are all made by hand and take time to produce. So, I just need to be mindful of timeline if needing for particular events. Otherwise, I'm really happy with AOW - Keep up the amazing work!

I had a wonderful experience with Art of Where. From their mockup generator, which makes it easy to create products for my customers, to the production and delivery of every order, everything has been smooth and reliable.

I've been using AOW for a while now. I love the option of natural fabrics they offer. The quality is excellent. Whilst there have been some hiccups over time, their customer support is very helpful and responsive, and provides me with sufficient information to manage my business around them. I'm very grateful for the level of transparency and communication and the quality of product they provide.

I just made my first order with Land of Where. I ordered two scarves with my own designs and some of their fabric and paper samples and I am really pleased with the results:
I love the quality of the fabric, the printing - the colours came out like the artwork, crisp and bright, shipping time was quick and I love that they sent the scarves in little boxes so they don't get damaged in the shipping.
I also love how easy it was to download my artwork and position it on the product and the mockup to see how it's going to look when printed. It was also easy to track my order from the time I placed it, to the actual delivery. I'm very encouraged by this first purchase and plan to try out more of their products.

I had a very disappointing experience with Art of Where.

My orders have been stuck in “In Production” for weeks with no tracking information and no clear updates from the team. Every time I reach out, I get vague replies and empty promises no real progress, no accountability.

Their communication is extremely poor, and they never give specific timelines. I had to keep following up repeatedly just to get basic information.

Because of their endless delays and lack of professionalism, my own customers became angry and started asking for refunds. This situation damaged my reputation and caused unnecessary stress for my small business.

I’ve also seen many other sellers facing the same problems orders delayed for weeks, quality control excuses, and no transparency.

If you’re thinking about starting a scarf or textile business, do not rely on Art of Where. They appear professional on the surface, but behind the scenes, it’s slow, disorganized, and unreliable.

I can’t recommend this company to anyone who values their time, money, or customer trust.

This was our first time ordering from Art of Where, and they did not disappoint! We were under a tight deadline to get receive our custom order. They did not compromise on quality and got it to us in time. They truly were a pleasure to work with, specifically Danny! Kudos to you, and I will be ordering again!

I have been using Art of Where for at least five years. The quality of the clothing and the printing is excellent. I've been selling these pieces in-person and I have zero complaints. Early on I needed to return an item with a defect (1 in 5 years!) and they replaced it with no issues. Thank you AOW! I vetted a lot of POD sites the year before I started ordering with you all. I bought samples from around the world. AOW sweatshirts, leggings, headbands and more fit GREAT. Tonight I ordered vegan leather swatches and am excited to create with them. UPDATE: This company no longer uses the same standards. The color and saturation used to be unmatched. The last two times I ordered, in the last six months color match is horrible. Printing from 300dpi, images taken and edited by a photographer. I have spent a lot of time as a designer doing preorders with Art of Where. I will not order from this company again. Artist, designers and buyer beware!

I couldn't be more satisfied when I got my first items to sell from Art of Where! The colours are always vibrant, and the materials they use are high quality. I'm happy to be working with Art of Where, and I'm happy also that, being from Toronto, that the shop supports local manufacturers, local people, and that they have a good way of reducing waste.

AOW is one of the few POD companies to offer natural fabrics. Their cotton canvas pillow covers, cotton canvas market totes, and silk habotai scarves are of the highest quality and feel expensive. I am able to markup prices for wholesale and still meet my margins. Customer service has been great. My only recommendation is to offer gray zippers. The white and black are sometimes too harsh a contrast with my artwork and I won't sell that art on pillows (my primary product). But overall, this company, products, fabrics, and service are great. My customers love the quality. I've been ordering for nearly 6 years now. I highly recommend.
