Great artwork on display
Great artwork on display.
However, I thought I would by something and get it delivered a few days later. What actually happened is that two out of three pieces either got lost during delivery or were held up in customs, and it turns out as a real bueocratic nightmare to actually retrieve it.
… not what I expected …

As artworks are being shipped internationally, this means that these may be subject to local customs regulations and unfortunately this is not something we can control as this will depend on each individual country.

I purchased 3 amazing paintings that shipped from all over the world in perfect condition. I had an excellent customer service experience. This was my first time buying art online. Excellent site to discover artists from…
Excellent site to discover artists from all over the world.
The artworks are presented with precise and thorough descriptions, along with high-quality, relevant images — both of the entire piece and of interesting details. There is also the possibility to initiate limited dialogue with the artist.
Minus points: exchanging images isn't very intuitive, and the use of certain typing characters or alphabets is not supported.

Buy from artists another way
They do not treat their artists well. They take ridiculous fees and commission, any sales discounts come out of the artist's pocket (not their commission) and they are oddly rude to the artists they make their money off. They also charge artists monthly subscription fees for even the most basic functionality, but don’t offer to help if the artists are not making sales, when that’s their justification for the discounts they offer.
You could say I have an axe to grind, my shop was deleted with immediate effect after 7 years of being on the platform and making lots of sales. I asked why, they said they cannot say. They can remove your account without notice and without any explanation, as that is their policy.
It’s all in their terms, but I would say if you want to support artists, click through to their website on the shop’s bio page and get in touch with them directly.

With regard to our commission and fees, we're sorry to hear that these were a cause for concern for you. We are transparent about the percentage we charge, and what this is used for - you can find our 'How we spend your commission' article on our Knowledge Base. While discounts up to 15% are generally covered by the artist, there are also discounts covered by both Artfinder and the artist.
We're always on hand to assist any artists selling with us who have queries regarding sales and visibility and our Support team can be reached on sellers@artfinder.com.

Finding original artwork by emerging…
Finding original artwork by emerging artist with the content I enjoy.
I only have two recommendations for you guys moving forward.
1. Teach your artist about paperwork i.e. Biography's and Certificate of Authenticity. There are still a lot of people that insure their art collections like myself.
2. Printing invoices from your site. You don't a print button. When I print them I get nine extra pages of things I dont need.

I have not sold anything on artfinder
I have not sold anything on artfinder. I have been there for a year now. My paintings cost from 1500 - 8000 eur. But on artfinder mostly only cheap works are sold for 80-300 eur :)

In the Moonlight …
I found this amazing watercolour on Artfinder and fell in love!! I live on the north-west coast UK and love watching light and water in combination.
