When we had a legal situation to deal with we contacted ARAG and supplied them with all the information they asked for however, after almost three weeks without a reply, we decide to call them, only to discover that they had done nothing with it.

When we called we just got a load of flanell about nothing.

I seriously think that Arag is a either a con or a scam offered to make the insurance policy it is sold with more attractive.

We will make sure we don't accept any offers of which include ARAG in any insurance policy's in the future.

Very poor service. No response, long delays, disinterested staff. Would never use them again. Disappointing as I had a really good experience with DAS before ARAG took over.

They have so few Scottish solicitors as to be bordering on a fantasy service. If you live in Scotland be very wary of the offer from Arag Plc.

Far aware they have only four preferred legal firms and none of them Arag, can force to take a case. And no guarantee that one or all will blight a client from a conflict of interest.

If the token offer of four firms cannot assist then Arag will send you on your way to find a solicitor on your own! Hours of emails, phones calls when they should do this task. And the end of day result can be to be no further forward in your search for a Scottish solicitor.

Arag at count -maybe I’m wrong and I will correct, if so- have approximate seventy solicitors based in England on their payroll. Yet, have not one direct employed, nor anyone to assist in finding a Scottish solicitor.

I don’t know the number of clients Arag have in Scotland, one does think that this cannot be right that are so few options to Arag clients within Scotland.

Perhaps Arag, require a secondary list, least make an effort to assist clients from obtaining more legal firms willing to work the Arag way.

If you find a Scottish solicitor and they be willing to engage Arag, there is no guarantee Arag will approve. Result can be a client wastes their time, and time is money, and you have already paid Arag Plc, try save your time and save your money if you live in Scotland, by going elsewhere.

Least until Arag Plc, get the message and improve their service. Minimum, give Scottish clients a reasonable opportunity to gain service.
