They sold us a monthly service and now…

They sold us a monthly service and now they say it's a 50 to 80 day window. Yet they charge 59 a month!

At Aptive, our service plans are billed monthly to help spread the cost out evenly, while the actual treatments are scheduled within a 50 to 80 day window to align with seasonal pest activity and ensure the service is effective. Excellent Customer Service

Our home backs up to natural open desert, and our yard and home are pest free. Aptive admin support and field technicians communicate with the customer about our quarterly service appointment and any emerging special needs at our home. The technician texts 30-minute before arrival to confirm the day’s service; and, then advises when they are done with treatment service via another text (with photos of the service). We couldn’t be more pleased.

Terrible customer service

I had them since 2018 and at the beginning they were great! You could speak to a real person that sat in an office. They listened and could answer questions. The techs have and always were knowledgeable, listened and offered solutions.

BUT NOW you are on the phone for 15 to 20 minutes before you get to a person. Then they read from a script and cannot answer any questions that aren’t on the script. They are hard to understand because they are from a different country.
I thought my dog might have been poisoned by the rat poison and I wanted to speak to a supervisor but was told they would email me that day, Friday or Monday! I asked for the name of the ingredient they use so I could call my vet and poison control but it took THREE calls before someone cared enough to look it up for me. Never heard from a supervisor! Then comes Monday and it takes another three phone calls to talk to a (supervisor)! I explained the situation and no one really seemed to care! I explained I was afraid my dog might DIE! It didn’t seem to matter. I said I wanted to discontinue service and was told they would come out the last time that week. I said NO I don’t want your service anymore. Then they said I would have to pay $200 for stopping service because I had signed a contract last year. I signed one contract and that was in 2018! I said no and thought it was done. I get a few phone calls but never a voicemail, which made me upset because they couldn’t call me when I thought my dog might DIE!
Then received ONE letter saying I owed $199 and the following day received an email saying I was being sent to COLLECTIONS! At first I thought it was a scam because it had been less than a month since I stopped the service. It was ALL so ridiculous and aggressive! I’m a senior citizen, widow, and cancer survivor from 2023 and just couldn’t deal with it any longer. My daughter contacted them and all of a sudden it was their MISTAKE! They thought I had been GRANDFATHERED in! Which is a bunch of crap!
I will never use them or any big company again because they have ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE! You cannot speak with a REAL PERSON just the automated system. Until they threaten you to pay and then the phone rings!!!!

I have used Aptive for several years. They were very good doing repeat visits after we moved into our new house to rid us of roaches. They just came out and did the termite protection. If something isn’t right they are quick to correct the problem. Good people work there.

Cannot recommend

Poor quality of service technicians, did not provide contracted services, only scorpion ever in our house occurred during their service, scheduling sub par, support was moved to South Africa which has little understanding of local conditions.

Termite Inspection

The termite inspection we had done on 11/29 was fine. The technician let us know 15 minutes before he was to arrive that he was on the way. After his arrival, he performed a very efficient inspection of our property. Afterwards, he gave us a quote as to what it would cost us to protect our home, moving forward, from termites.

Reviewing Aptive

Jay arrived and asked if we had any concerns or issues. we told him of 2 concerns...the potential for ants and replace the sticky boards at all entrances to the garage. He went about his business and we observed him working quite diligently. we have come to relie on Aptive because, since signing with them, we no longer have problems with pests. Jay did an outstanding job today.

Continuous call backs to get rid of…

Continuous call backs to get rid of bugs - especially ants and spiders. I’m suppose to be in a quarterly calendar, but Aptive has been coming monthly and billing me monthly. My fault since I haven’t gone back to get all my stmts in alignment to call.

The tech addressed all of my concerns

The tech addressed all of my concerns, and took pictures of any additional areas of concern. My only suggestion is when we in AZ want to treat areas for scorpions, something like Diatomaceous earth should be used, rather than just spraying heavily in problem areas. (entryways for example). Thx!

Not thorough as Moses. Did not have the key to roof rat…

Did not have the key to the roof rat traps. Miss several cobwebs on the eaves or took part of them and left the rest. Did not take down a mud wasp by the French doors on patio. Definitely not as thorough as other people you have sent.
