Fake review! We have requested more information from you and you have failed to provide it. We have an electronic diary system and your name doesn’t appear anywhere in it for the last 5 years.

Also, worth noting, you are very vague when describing your fault and the part that was required to be replaced? Why is this? Surely you would know which part was being replaced? If not, if you have legitimately used my services you would have an electronic receipt emailed through to you which will name the part, part number and price of the part.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review Linda. However, I must point out that your review is inaccurate in more than one way.

As you are advised when calling, all of our calls are recorded for monitoring purposes. I have listened to your first call when you called to book, which you state the freezer is leaking water from the door (10/09/2025) and we booked a visit for you for 15/09/2025.

When I attended your home it was clear to see from the first inspection that your ice tray had snapped and was hanging down which was causing the water that it was filling with (water being supplied to the ice maker) to overflow and in to the ice bucket before eventually leaking out of the delivery chute and down the door. This issue was shown to you and parts required to fix the water leak were discussed. At the time you also asked about your washing machine being repaired and because I had time that day I added it to your fridge freezer job in order to save you an additional callout.

We ordered an ice maker assembly for your fridge freezer and a door handle for your washing machine and returned on 19/09/2025 to repair both appliances.

On Friday 3rd October you called in at 09:57 and advised that your ice maker was not filling with water. I went through a few scenarios with you and tried to think of a way that this fault might be connected to the first fault where water was leaking when the ice maker was filling with water. During the conversation I advised that if it is related to the original fault then it would be classed as a recall and obviously there wouldn’t be a charge. However, if the fault is unrelated then unfortunately it is a different fault and therefore it could be chargeable.
During the conversation you also confirmed that it had been working great and producing loads of ice before you went on holiday. At this point I said that the only way we could move forward would be to inspect the appliance again, but from experience I couldn’t guarantee if the two faults were related which is when you asked if there would be a second callout charge.
At this point I did say that there might be but if there is any way that it’s connected to the first repair then of course there wouldn’t be an additional charge, but I was unable to rule that out without seeing it.
I also explained how the ice maker works and tried to reason with how the two issues may be related in a way to try and reassure you that I am invested in your issue.
As it stands you are still within your 3 month recall period and are welcome to have us call back out to recheck the appliance to see if the two faults are related. I always operate honestly, fairly and professionally with all customers and if you wish for me to come back and check the repair again you are more than welcome to give us a call.
