The delivery was quick and everything was well packed and nothing was forgotten and when I needed help or had questions they helped me out!

Ordered Messor queen with 18 workers. Arrived promptly and in good health.

Good communication and updates. I had one or two queries which I sent via email and had responses within a few working hours. The responses were full of great advice.

I ordered my lasius niger queen with 5-10 workers/brood they arrived promptly but they weren't packaged tightly in the box meaning my poor queen must have been rolling around like crazy in transit, luckily her and her workers are doing very well. I guess I'm just lucky I chose such a adjustable colony because other queens wouldn't have dealt with this as well. Also my feeder I got from them doesn't even fit the test tubes that are literally from them so I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do there? Other than that fantastic communication and great company :))

Whenever I order from Ants HQ it always amazes me purely by the service speed the care and dedication they provide. This is and always will be my go to for live ants knowing they will arrive safely!

When I finally got a hold of them, my pod was supposedly collected, but my tracking was saying that it wasn't, so I had to wait longer for a new shipment.

A while ago, I made suggestions. Keep in mind this was not their design, but High Tech Ants, who shut up shop and sold them the designs. So any issues with said pods are from the designs they got. Instead of rolling out small changes and improvements, they are trying to do it all at once, which is taking way too long. They would be better off doing smaller improvements, mainly fixing the leaking pod, which would be a big one. Everything else isn't as important.

It wasn't fair to give them one star, but they need better communication with customers... hope they can improve there customer service.

This company are just a bunch of liars, last year I had to get my second leafcutter pod for them, they messed me around then, and doing same again, My 2 pods where supposedly meant to be shipped Tuesday, I asked them on Tuesday what's the status, they said/ either today or tomorrow next day got email saying your order is on your way, plus my royal mail tracking. but it didn't update... My order took abit longer, since I requested them to make sure it's sealed real good to prevent leakages, at first they told me because of this it might add a few extra days, fine fair enough... they first told me they added 2 INSTEAD of the extra 1, anyway my order was supposed to be shipped, then I asked why didn't get any updates, supposedly they wanted to run something by me, about adding 1 more final layer of sealant then they told me they added Several but might benefit from an other, but they wasn't going to give me a choice in it, anyway since now they're saying Monday.

I went to the Build Your Own Ant Farm Workshop, and it was amazing. Caesar was very informative. Would recommend.

My son attended the workshop and really enjoyed it. Cesar facilitated the workshop very well.

Ordered a tetramorium caespitum colony, 50-100 workers. Colony arrived in a clean, full test tube though there was little brood after transit, which is to be expected. I also received a 18mm founding tube which I look forwards to using this season!

Not only is the website very refined but the whole experience including packaging and the condition of the order was amazing, my pheidole noda colony arrived in amazing condition with more than the stated quantity, so i say hats off to the people at AntsHQ.
Will definitely be using them again in the future.

the box the ants came in was all packed nicely the ants are thriving in their test tube. I highly recommend this website when buying ants.

I recieved my lovely Myrmecia nigriceps queen in haste. Box was well packaged; Temperature was well defended against, and disturbance was well reduced with 2 layers of loose packing peanuts, one outside of the polystyrene box, and one inside. The queen herself arrived with two well grown, chunky larvae, perfect to see in such a rare and expensive ant. I am very happy with the speed of shipment, conditions of package, and health of my queen.

I bought a Lasius Flavus colony(2 queens with brood) and I got 2 queens, 6 workers and brood. Unfortunately, 11 days later the queens died. On the other hand the delivery was fine and the ants arrived within 2 days.

If you have any advice, please let me know.

Overall, I am quite unhappy with my order due to my queens dying.

Came healthy, I got a colony of around 90 pheidole Noda workers, the queen looks healthy and has already laid eggs, the colony came with 2 majors, they didn't show any appetite which means that antshq fed them well before dispatch! Will definitely come back to order more!

I had brought a lasius niger from ants hq and the colony really started to grow after just two months. I proceeded to have around 50 to 20 workers and then later on I kept having them. I had to eventually move them after a while into a bigger out world, but in total it was still great. They’re really cheap and easy to keep and don’t require a constant hassle and it’s fun to watch them build things so you know I would recommend buying your own pet ant.

I've been a customer of ants hq for a few years, I have to admit in the beginning the communication was lacking but the last year they have been brilliant.
I've mostly purchased ants from them, founding queens and colonies. They've been good quality.
Their communication and help with one lazy queen that wasn't opening her cocoons was brilliant. They worked with me for idea to get her opening them and now we have a functioning colony.
I've just received two colonies from them and they're doing brilliantly.
They arrived healthy and are thriving.

Ordered a small colony of Messor Barbarus and within 3 days they were at my door in great condition. Excellent communication and extremely informative making care simple and straightforward. Will defiantly purchase from again!

New to the Ant world, excited to get started. Ants HQ have been fantastic, Our Queen was here within 24hours of order and they have be super responsive with my back to back emails for advice. Making me feel super confident we have support to give our colony the best start and out come.

Great experience buying ants from AntsHQ.
Ordered around the Xmas period and there were some cold spells so I decided to go to the HQ for pickup.
Met Cesar in person and had a good chat about any keeping. Genuine down to earth guy and it was a wonderful experience.
Ants were in good condition. A small number of the Myrmica ruginoda workers die off but that's usual for such a big colony that I am acquiring.
Received loads of goodies that kick start my ever growing collection as well.
Would definitely go back for more.

I’ve ordered quite a bit from AntsHQ now and orders have arrived ontime and always in top condition. only had an issue once with delivery of Myrmica rubra. However it was sorted as soon as I emailed and they even threw in an extra queen Ant for the trouble. The chat feature on the website is very useful and the team are very polite and helpful. Would highly recommend these guys for any and all Ant related needs.

Bought my first species Lasius Niger was sent out promptly and very well packaged arrived quickly with the Queen and workers very active popped them away on the shelf for a few days and just checked on them there’s now loads of eggs too 🥰 thank you so much can’t wait to begin my ant journey with my new colony
