I’m sick of these pieces of . Two nights in a row with no help from support. I’ve wasted 8+hours of trying to fix this IM SO MAD I LOST ALL MY PROJECTS AND NOW EVERYTHING KEEPS CRASHING ANTARES DUCK DUCKS JANSJZNSNKAN. Duck you sksjidjzjsjznhzhshzhxjz

CodeMeter und Antares Central können nichts. Ständig Aktivierungsprobleme und Abstürze. Sitz hier seit Stunden, um meine Logic Session wieder herzustellen. Kein Bock mehr echt.

They only get one star because their plugins sometimes work. My licences expired / plugins stopped working 2.5 weeks before the expiration date of my licence.

Overall company has terrible moral ethics, as you can read from the previous reviews. In addition they use really bad marketing tactics to hype up the product and once they get your money, they lack in customer support.

Their policies on refunds are terrible even if you purchase the product and don’t activate the plugin. I requested a refund within minutes, after purchasing autotune fx, realizing after you only get a 1 year subscription with autotune producer, which doesn’t have access to the plugins I wanted specifically, such as the vocal compressor, among others.

The website experience is very confusing, it seems like it’s intentionally trying to confuse consumers. The overall site experience lacks transparency of which autotune subscription you are provided free for the year, when purchasing a perpetual licence and you have to read the really fine print within the web experience:

“ * Your first year charged at $87.49. Charged annually at $174.99/yr thereafter. Plan can be modified at any time.”

Very unclear what they mean by “plan can be modified at any time considering they don’t offer refunds.

Beware that you cannot buy another perpetual license and receive another free year subscription if you made the mistake of buying one already:

“** Offer applies to new email subscribers only”

This shown in very fine print at the bottom of the promotional modal and are not visible within checkout.

Customer service is unresponsive when contacting them for a refund, did receive one initial response stating their policy about no offering refunds, and then after responding that I did not even yet activate the free autotune producer package along with a lack of transparency in their website, they immediately stopped responding, even after two further points of contact.

Don’t support this company as they really try to overhype the brand through marketing tactics with influencers on YouTube to bedazzle you with a product outcome and hide their agenda of moral ethics which is none whatsoever existent and will do anything to ignore you once they have your money.

Awful business practices, even worse customer service... Stay away from unlimited. I purchased a one time software and it turns out it came with an online subscription that automatically renews indefinitely when all I did is purchased a one time product. No refunds on digital sales they say but they literally only offer digital items. I am reporting to BBB. I also had an issue with my license in the past as well and the support made me feel like I was doing something wrong for technical glitches on their end. Give your hard earned cash to a more deserving company.

Watch out for them!!!! Stay away from them. You buy one product once, but they will take money from your account without limit, even if you do not agree to direct debit. They don't answer calls or reply to messages!!! They steal money from the account. Seriously watch out for this company. I had to block payments to the bank.

Terrible service! I paid for a year's subscription and did not know it was set up for auto renew had no idea they wouldn't auto-renewed it a year later without sending a reminder, at the full price! I do not need this subscription. Customer service claims all payments are final. Is it even legal to auto-renew without a reminder?!

the customer service is a joke! after my autotune pro (perpetual license) stops working after 3 years ("license not found"), the email customer service bot repeats the same three suggestions over and over in different mails, no matter what i ask for. after i asked if an upgrade to autotune pro x (perpetual license!) would solve the problem, it finally wants to sell me an upgrade with the monthly plan, ignoring my question again. are they trying to force people into the AT unlimited plans with this kind of bugs and ignorance? shame....
update 18.09.: the customer service bot keeps resending the same template mails over and over, no matter what i ask....

I've used autotune unlimited for more than a year and its been more than a year of submitting service request tickets to be able to even use autotune unlimited. Do not use this service if you're an independent musician. No matter what I do, I can't use their software. I literally have a license, but their software will randomly decide to deactivate it. At this point, this is literally a scam... Actually, do not use this service if you value software engineering. Their programmers, especially their lead programmer, should be ashamed of the product they released. Do not buy, do not download, and do not use. Antares should be a disgrace of the software industry at this point.

Just an all round poor customer service company: All Sales are final. End of, no matter the issue apparently.

Stick to melodyne or waves-tune. Great product let down by ZERO customer service.

They're brash and have no clue about music production. Their big fix after endless unhelpful rude chats? “Just stick to C and the chromatic scale.” I don't condone software piracy, but in this case, I wouldn't stop you. The plugin's totally useless—can't even recall presets. Talk about a waste. //Jonathan Angel

Schlechte Abo Politik, man weiß nicht wann man bestellt hat, beim abbestellen werden Fallen gestellt. Abzocke hinterrücks, plus man kann es nicht realtime nutzen mit Apollo, was ich nicht wusste. Muss es schlecht bewerten

Terrible service
Got years subscription and tried to install antares centre on mac only to find out its not compatible even though the site says it is. Contacted tech team and won't respond. Wanted refund and no reply. Don't get of you have a mac and don't expect an answer anytime soon.

I had a terrible experience with them – they make it super complicated to cancel the subscription. I didn't even want the subcription, I wanted to buy one of their products! But the website is so manipulative. I've never seen worse customer service.

Horrible company. Do not support them. They zero out all parameters on their plugins when their Antares Central application doesn't recognize the license. Yet, Antares Central will randomly not recognize your license and say they're expired even though it shows they're activated and you've been billed for it. What does this mean? Any session you're working in (or have been working in) will reset and you will ultimately have an entirely different mix because any Antares plugin instance will be at its default settings. This causes an insane amount of work to be redone as well as potentially never being able to lock in a mix you and your clients have learned to know and love. This means no going back into previous finalized mixes for edits, changes, revisions, performance versions, etc. without spending hours of work trying to recreate what was already done. The chances of being able to get every parameter in every plugin to be what it was originally is highly unlikely.

This also means if you're working with a client (who is paying for your time and services) and you spend 6 or more hours getting mixes done, this may happen to you at the every end of completion. Now, all of the time you spent along with the work that you did, is gone (this happened to me). Try explaining that to your client, especially when they were excited about the mix and grew an attachment to it.

To make it worse, if you reach out to customer service explaining this, you don't get any empathy or acknowledgment of the problem. You don't get any kind of compensation. You don't even get a name of who is responding to you, just "Antares Support". In fact, the only response is them telling you to run their license cleaner, something that only further deletes your licenses and resets the parameters again (the very problem to begin with). Unbelievable.

They're unethical and greedy and I highly recommend any involvement with their company or their products at all costs.

Avoid at any cost.
You will never get any refund payment.
This company should be investigated.

Licensing system is a mess. Customer support is inexistent. This company is just a monopoly that stays afloat of brand recognition. Screw these guys.

As you can see from their customer reviews, even the most favourable one describes their service as bad.

After taking out a trial on one of their products I was charged immediately for a full months subscription and when this was noticed I contacted them to cancel the payment and they refused to cancel the subscription. I had to resort to my card payment company just to get the subscription cancelled.

A very unpleasant company to deal with and I would warm others NOT to give them any card or bank payment details, even though their site states at the time of taking out a trial that 'No payment will be taken at this time'. This is just a trick to get your payment details on file which then allows them to pretty much charge what they like, when they like.

BE WARNED.

Even when you pause the subscription, they still charge you money. And be aware when you have a subscription that they don't force you to pay double. This happened to me aswell. Now my account is gone, but not before they still charged me for a month I paused, now deleted. I basicly paid for air.

As other have already stated, this company uses tricky tactics to get you to buy into a subscription offering free plugins for a trial. But if you accidentally click the wrong button (which is fairly easy to do on their confusing website) they will not let you cancel the order. After pleading for a refund, they still firmly denied it stating their "policy" on the website says no refunds. Well, just because you say so on your website doesn't make it true. Don't let their indifference deter you. As consumers, there are laws that protect us, especially if you are living in the EU, you are guaranteed a 14-day money back on ANY online purchase. I filed a claim with my credit card company and they reviewed the case within 5 minutes and decided in my favor. If this company has also scammed you out of money with their decepting business practices, just take it up with your bank or credit card company. They will sort it out for you.

These guys take a proper mick, they take their money monthly on the clock but you have to talk to customer support every month to reactivate your licence. if trust pilot had an option for a negative star rating these guys are on the crap list definitely
