I’ve been driving for flex.amazon.com…

I’ve been driving for flex.amazon.com since 2020, and my standing had always been Fantastic until recently. Due to an issue completely caused by their system, I was double booked for deliveries, which resulted in me being unable to deliver 23 packages. I immediately contacted support and was specifically instructed to return the packages. I was reassured multiple times by representatives that I would not be penalized because the situation was not my fault.
Not only did they acknowledge it was their error, but they also paid me for the route. Yet somehow, they still turned around and dinged my account for it anyway, dropping my standing all the way down to “At Risk.” I appealed several times and explained exactly what happened, but it feels like nobody actually listens or cares.
It’s extremely disappointing to dedicate years of hard work and reliability to a company just to be punished over their own mistakes. Drivers are the backbone of this service, but based on my experience, Amazon Flex does not truly support or value their drivers when issues arise.

I wish I didnt have to give them the one star but sadly have to to write this review.

FULL OF BOTS AND TRACK YOUR EXPENSES. FREE LABOR FOR AMAZON

Full of bots. Unable to take any orders by your self. There is a bunch of people creating accounts to put them in waiting lists that when Flex opens new spots this people literally sell them for a lot of money and then get bots. Price is unfair. You’ll go to horrible roads and damage your car to delivery packages in a 100+ mile route for less that that what they say your making per hour, if you take away gas. Not worthy. My vehicle’s value decreased significantly, it’s damage and full of miles since I started this “job” only people who get benefit is Amazon. TRACK YOUR MILES AND EXPENSES because it’s a 1099 and they don’t provided the miles you drive so you can get that discounted for your taxes. And trust me, once you track that you’ll know you’re basically working for free.

They take advantage of drivers

They take advantage of drivers. You don’t know your route until you get there. Could be 14 packages, could be 46 with 41 stops. You are on a time limit. (Ex. 3 hours) In which they will send you OVER an hour away , with 41 stops. Down nothing but rural roads in the middle of nowhere. If you have any issues at all, “driver support” is anything BUT support. SCREENSHOT all communications with support, because they will lie. Then when you tell them you have proof, they will call it a misunderstanding..help me to help YOU!! Stay away!!

Keep getting emails my account will get…

Keep getting emails my account will get suspended, which never been activated by them since i uploaded my documents. My account has remained inactive for the past four years, despite my repeated inquiries. Each time I reach out, I am told that drivers are not needed in my area. This explanation does not make sense. For four years, Amazon has allegedly not required delivery drivers in one of the most populated and well-known areas of Perth, yet I see numerous drivers delivering packages on my streets every day. Worst company i seen

much wrong with amazon flex . Low pay , high mileage. Will send you an hour away , rough terrain in boonies with little pay . But the worst part is they will falsely accuse you of not delivering packages and demoting you for this . They will lower your standing for any little complaint . If the package is damaged by amazon , they will blame you. If buyer lies and says they didn't get package for free merchandise, you get dinged . If you leave package at front door instead of back door because it was safer geuss what another ding. Customer service is absolutely no help and will dismiss your issues and speak off script . If package gets stolen , you get dinged . This last issue my standing was lowered for no known reason . Nothing on my record but management will not fix it . Oh customers are alerted to keep their dogs secured , probably about 50 percent do not , so you have to return package back to station . Even when you return a package , amazon will say you did not and you get dinged again . Unfair and fraudulent practices by amazon flex and driver support and management could care less . I have reported them 3 times for bad business practices and unfair treatment to FTC . Just be prepared these routes will run your car down fast !! New brakes , new spark plugs , high miles , new tires , dogs have scratched my car up , just a few things , so is it really worth it ? High miles for sure . Amazon flex needs to pay alot more and fix their customer service !!

I’ve been doing Amazon Flex for over a…

I’ve been working with Amazon Flex for over a year, and honestly, it is not worth it. Once you factor in fuel costs, insurance, vehicle maintenance, and general wear and tear, there is barely any money left — if any at all.
On paper, the pay might look acceptable, but in reality, drivers are covering most of the operating costs themselves. Petrol prices, increased insurance premiums, and constant strain on your car quickly cancel out any earnings. You are essentially working just to cover expenses.
Support is limited when issues occur, and drivers carry all the risk. If something goes wrong with the app, routes, or blocks, it’s usually the driver who loses out financially.
After more than a year of experience, I can say this is not a sustainable or fair way to earn money. I would not recommend Amazon Flex to anyone looking for real income rather than short-term cash that disappears into costs.

I am very disappointed at Amazon Flex I…

I am very disappointed at Amazon Flex I worked for them since November 2024 and really enjoyed my job, however Amazon deleted my email therefore I was not able to work Amazon Flex, i then changed my email and had to start the onboarding process again. Had my insurance with Inshur on 9/9/25 as I had to re-register however hey kept saying they were not receiving the notifications from Inshur, you cannot speak to anyone at Amazon Flex, they really need to sort out their customer service the worst customer service I have ever received. All they do is send you template emails and most of their staff do not understand basic English. I have now joined a reputable company that treat their staff fairly.

Unrealistically expectations

Amazon Flex is horrible company to work for. They accept drivers to do an realistically duty most times. Starting off with: if you accept a 4 hour block for $85,
-You must use ur own car/gas
-sort thru some times 10 packages to 40 packages Which takes abt 20 mins
-travel to the 1st destination which can be some times 15 miles away or 59miles away
-Drives to each locations, if it ALL HOMES then the job is easy
-If it’s Apartment Mixed in with BUSINESSES and HOMES, the you gotta problem because——
-it’s gonna take 10 to 20 per apartment because most apartments have lockers or long hallways to walk down to the door or you may get lost in the building:
-then dnt forget if the weather is hot outside, u have to drink lots of water, so have to find bathrooms which cut into the so called 4 hours block.
-and also it impossible to gain access to certain places because the customers dnt add the passcode.

So, when u bring back the packages to the station, now AMAZON FLEX wants to penalized the driver and deactivate them for things that were out of the drivers control. When go to select the options that fits the description as WHY the items were not delivered. So Amazon does not care abt the drivers at all.

IT LOOKS LIKE AMAZON has bitten off too much that they can chew, making promises to people packages on the SAME DAY DELIVERY, while putting the drivers thru burning hoops to do it with less than minimum wage earning. We might as well go work on a farm and stand on corner and beg for money. Because this company is not it.

It’s not far on either side. I wish AMAZON WOULD HAVE NEVER bothered with taking over the RETAIL SPACE and left it up the consumer to buy and shop in person because ONE DAY Amazon will CRAZER since they solely depend on the drivers with their own cars

This Company is Disgusting!

This company is appalling! Most blocks in Toledo, OH, are for 4.5 hours and pay around $85. So you automatically have to deduct roughly $20 for gas, and an hour for the drive home. This isn’t even accounting for all the wear and tear from driving on unpaved roads the whole time. So this would be $65 / 5.5 hours = $11.818/hour. This is barely more than minimum wage for Ohio! Who in their right mind would accept these blocks? You’d have to be a complete idiot. Even Five Guys pays over $21/hour. This is over a $22,000 annual difference so just get a job at Five Guys and don’t put any excessive wear and tear on your car.

Amazon Flex: Where Flexibility Means Less Pay and More Parcels”

Amazon Flex used to be a smart way to earn extra decent pay, clear blocks, and manageable parcel loads. But now? It feels like someone behind the scenes is getting a little too creative.

At London stations like DCR2, DCR3, and DRH1, we went from earning £68–£84 for 4-hour blocks to being handed 4 hours’ worth of parcels squeezed into 3.5-hour “blocks” and paid even less. Funny how the maths always seems to favour Amazon, not the people actually doing the work.

They’ve turned cost-cutting into an art form: fewer proper blocks, more parcels, and an insulting pay drop. All while patting themselves on the back for “efficiency.” In reality, it’s nothing but exploitation with a smile.

What’s worse? It seems some people have made it their mission to impress the higher-ups by squeezing every last drop out of drivers. Congrats if your goal was to make a good system miserable, you’re doing a fantastic job.

Drivers work hard. Really hard. But lately, it feels like effort is irrelevant unless you’re the one playing politics or chasing fake appreciation.

Short-term praise might win you points with management, but at the cost of trust, respect, and basic fairness. The ones who built this system the drivers won’t forget how quickly things changed when loyalty and hard work stopped being profitable.

Ridicilous driver action

We are having flooding rains today so my front porch was wet, but there was a place right in front of the door away from the direct rain. The Amazon Delivery Driver set my package right on the edge of the porch instead in the direct line of the rain. By the time I got home, 2 hours later, my package was beyond soaked. I attempted to find somewhere on Amazon to report this, but as usual, they don't make that information readily available.
Also, Amazon drivers in my town drive all over town with the sliding door to the van wide open with packages bouncing all over the place. Additionally, some drive all over with very loud music playing.
Amazon, get with it.

Wouldn't even given them one star if I could. Extremely long signing up process only to find once you meet the criteria there are no vacancies in the the area you originally applied for. Complete sham, all they are looking for Muppets when orders are high. Save your time and look elsewhere.

This company should be banned in the UK.
They don't give ANY rights or benefits to their drivers. Zero accountability.

I personally deleted even Amazon app ( used it for many years for almost all purchases ) after realised how badly they treating their drivers.

Shame on Amazon!

Better not to work with Amazon flex

I’m not sure who is looking after route planning but he/she is very cleaver. I picked 3.5 hours route planning many times but while doing this took 4 hours and more and when I finished after that 50 m drive to back home which is worthless getting paid £60.00 for that route.
I do not recommend this job anymore.
DN11 is the place where I work and collected 48 parcels for this route today.
