I have used argan oil for about 26 years as I used to import a high grade quality one and sell it....once I stopped trading I needed to find a good supplier to continue to use the oil for my own use and managed to find one locally. ..
I used them for many years and their oil was extremely good..then a few months ago when I purchased a bottle it was different, it was clear and had no odour..now for people who know about argan oil it has to be ambar and a slight nutty aroma to be of good quality ..If it is clear or has no aramoa this means it has been processed ( ie heated to high temperatures ) which means all the amazing qualities of the oil have been removed and thus there is no point using it as it is useless.
I tried to discuss this with my regular supplier however they insisted the oil was fine so sadly y I had to stop buying from them

So I had to searching again and tried several companies and whilst some were ambar they had no aroma

Then I came across alucia organics and decided to purchase a small bottle to try it out
The oil was ambar and had a nutty aroma, not quite as good as my previous supplier but I was willing to give it a go ..the oil was definitely not as smooth but I decided to buy a bigger bottle and one as a present for someone as a gift

The extra bottles I bought are NOT pure argan oil...the oil is ambar but it has the smell of cooking oil and stings my eyes
Argan oil does not smell like that and defiantly should not sting your eyes
the one I bought as a gift was exactly the same

I contacted alucia organics but they said as the oil was not faulty there was nothing they could do ...smelling of cooking oil and stinging a persons eyes in my opinion the oil is "faulty"
So I asked if they could send me a sample bottle to see if the same thing happened incase I had been sent faulty batch BUT they again said nothing they can do as not faulty
mmmmm..how can you say that and why are you unwilling to send out a sample....seems to me its because you know the same thing will happen

So sorry everyone I do not recommend this company
I am not someone who does not know what she is talking about...I know what high grade argan oil is as I used to import and sell it myself.
Alucias oil I belief not even to be argan oil or if it is it has had something added to it that makes it smell like cooking oil and stings your eyes

No one getting back to me when I tried to correct the wrong address for delivery but could not get through on phone or email to correct order… really frustrating and worrying. The phone just had a generic sounding answering message. Left messages and emails and no one called or emailed me back.

Purchased marula, tamanu, double rose hip and the deep cleanse balm. The quality of these oils ( all supplied in dark glass vials with glass droppers) is excellent. I use the oils on my skin, nails and hair. Makes it easy to create a simple skincare regimen with no chemicals or unrecyclable materials. Perfect 😍
