The Working Team was awsome! Also good organization of transportation. One star less because of issues with hosting hotel before and after expedition. No warm water for taking shower. Also some issues with printing certification after expedition. But in total the team of Altezza did very good job. My recommendation: never make it in November. In 5 of 7 days it was non-stop raining and always foggy. No possiblity to dry clothes and gears. It was terrible experience of nature.

I like adventures like climbing! I like the nature such as flowers, animals etc. The chief guide and his team did an excellent job and had everything under control at any time. Good food and very nice and friendly personal to serve the meals. Hot water to wash in any place, nice idea to have a hot water bottle for the nights. Great jobs of the porters to bring all the duffle bags to each stations. Health checks mornings and evenings to secure security at any time! Overall great experience in Tansania 🇹🇿. 🙏🏔️🥾

Experienced and friendly staff, starting from Hotel, Administration to Trekking-Team, sort of unified effort to make hike a wonderful adventure! Professional guides with well trained support team. Attention to details and needs to every single participant. Well equipped medical kit and oxygen tanks (luckely none of our group needed it!). Every morning/evening check of blood saturation and overall well being of each participant. Good, varied and abundant food during trip.
Nice but extremly helpful 'goodies': hot waterbottle for the sleeping bag, warm water for washing placed in front of Hut and a cup of hot tea, coffee or chocolate after wakeup call - thank you!
Availability of renting any trekking gear at Hotel in advance or on spot!
This was my first trekking and so cannot compare it with other operators.

Восхождение на Килиманджаро не могло пройти успешнее: команда помогала во всем, нам не надо было тратить время на установление палаток, на приготовление еды и других организационных моментов. Гиды всегда находили и удерживали комфортный нам темп. Также в тяжелые морально моменты всегда поддерживали, находили нужные слова. Стоит отметить что еда была очень качественной и в больших количествах. Даже когда казалось что аппетита нет, видя еду, все равно кушали) всем, кто хочет обеспечить себе активный отдых с комфортном советую Altezza

Thank you to Altezza for organising our trip to Kilimanjaro. It was an amazing experience. All the hotel staff, guides and porters are friendly. I will never forget how welcoming the staff were in the first day and the day we got back from the climb! The food and tents were as yummy and inviting as possible. Once again… thank you Altezza.

One of the guys in the group said it best. They make Kilimanjaro climb so comfortable that it's hard to feel like a hero.

Don't be mistaken though karma that last day is borderline torturous and not to be underestimated.

3 weeks ago I headed to Kilimanjaro to climb with 18 other hikers. Altezza went above and beyond to make the trek safe and enjoyable. It was an experience I will never forget, thanks to their attention to detail, genuine concern for my safety and wellbeing, and a sincere desire to offer top notch service throughout the journey. We then continued on to a one week WOW safari organized by Altezza. A sincere thank you to Alex, Stasia, Anna, Baraka, Victor and Balthazar for making me feel so well cared for, and an extended thanks to the hotel staff, our safari driver Omary and the entire team for their professionalism and warm hearts. I will never forget Africa...or the gentle people who call it home.

I used this company for my Kilimanjaro climb. I did a lot of research and this company had the best reviews. In addition, they are very reasonably priced and offered a 6-day Lemosho route that fit my budget and time frame. From the beginning the company was very responsive and answered all of my questions. I dealt with Anna and she’s very professional and thorough. As soon as I got to the airport I had a driver waiting and he was super nice. I stayed at the Aishi Machame resort before and after the climb which was very nice. The climb was so fun from beginning to end. I was in a three person group and our main guide was Rashid who was AMAZING. He’s so sweet and so knowledgeable and never pushes you on the hikes. Pole Pole (you’ll learn what that means once you hit the trails). On the day of the summit I expressed to him that the group was going a bit slow for my pace and he let me go up the mountain with the other guide, Noelle. Rashid is the best! The rest of the crew was so nice and accommodating. I’ll say this, Altezza definitely has the best tents on the mountain. Food was great. Everything ran perfectly. Thank you guys so much for making Kilimanjaro such an awesome experience for me! I would recommend them 100 percent.

We made no mistake having picked Altezza for our week-long safari in Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti Nationak Parks this March. It was an adventure of a lifetime in a true sense of this expression. We'd been planning it long before covid, and it gave us such a release after a tough year.

Amazing teamwork, amazing guide Tom who was always ready to share his encyclopedic knowledge with us. Simply stunning nature and selection of lodgings. My life would definitely be incomplete without this experience.

I climbed with Altezza in March 2021 and it was a truly memorable experience!! I was a first-timer, never got above 3500 m in my life, a total know-nothing and, consequently, anxious about my safety, gear and everything :) Altezza's manager met me at the hotel before the climb to check my gear and brief me on our hiking program. I rented much from Altezza (sleeping bag, warm clothes, hiking boots) and realized later that it was the right decision - everything was clean and in top condition and saved my cold-sensitive being on evenings. The guys are super knowledgeable about the right gear and all the details and shared their personal experience, which was a great help!

I trusted Altezza's experts to choose the 7-day Lemosho route that they recommended for my very limited mountain experience and climbed with the other 7 persons in a group, which was lots of fun and mutual support! Everyone reached the Uhuru peak safely.

On the hike, Altezza is all about safety - the guides checked my oxygen level min. twice a day (morning and evening) and more frequent on some days (I had my hard times with severe headache in the middle of our expedition). Every day they took a record of symptoms from each climber and we were cared for throughout the hike. Everyone got the help they needed immediately. Needless to say, I wouldn't have made it to the peak without the guides and crew.

Meals were superb and homelike, 3 times a day, with several dishes to choose from - hearty soups, garnishes, fresh vegetables and fruits, fantastic pancakes for breakfast (and the most delicious avocados and pineapples I have ever tried!) A big thank you to the porters who served us a wake-up cup of hot coffee/tea in our tents every morning. Before the trip, I was worried about the meals in harsh mountain conditions but surprisingly came back home with 3 extra kgs of weight :D

You never expect to have that high level of service on the mountain with its ever-changing weather and limited resources. And this is exactly what I appreciated the most throughout my time with Altezza. Thanks for having my back, you're awesome!

Our safari tour with Altezza was excellent.

They are very good professionals that take care of everything making our safari an amazing experience. The car was very clean and confortable and the hotels were perfect to have a nice sleep in the middle of Serengueti!

Also, our Guide Raffael was the best! We had the opportunity to see a lot of wild animals.

Altezza was a great price and the porters and guides were AMAZING. The accommodations both on and off the mountain were better than I expected and the lodges and Altezza hotel were especially nice. All of the food was great and my gluten allergy was easily addressed ahead of time. The convenience of how Altezza office staff set up everything for us in advance made everything hassle-free. Both my friend and I summited Kilimanjaro and we would not have been able to do so without the support of both of our guides and porters. The safaris were beautiful and we saw Tanzania's Big Five EASILY. I highly recommend this company to anyone wanting to climb Kilimanjaro, do adventure or sightseeing hikes, or who just might want only a safari. I am already planning on utilizing Altezza Travel next June for when I hopefully return to Kilimanjaro with more friends and to also ascend Mount Meru. I highly recommend our guide, Baraka Ayo!! He was VERY professional, met our needs, any concerns we might have had, were immediately addressed, not that I had any anyway, and he coordinated every day of our six-night trek perfectly! We recommend Altezza Travel for safaris to the Serengeti and to Ngorongoro. They went out of their way to tailor a trip for us to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro, and it was fantastic.
The guide/driver, Bakari, was professional, exceptionally knowledgeable about everything, and he is one heck of a good driver. Bakari is a natural at finding animals - he was so clever. We're amazed at the variety of animals we saw at close range.
(We spent nearly 25 days on safari in Namibia, Botswana, and Zimbabwe, and we saw the same amount of animals but more variety here in Tanzania with Altezza in a far shorter period of time.)
The accommodation was beautiful and overlooked the savanna.
Our trip with Altezza was so good that we'll return and spend more time on safaris with them. Tanzania truly has it all and we're fortunate to have selected the best safari company with the best guide!
