We summated Kilimanjaro on 23/Jan/24, under the guidance of a team put together by Altezza travel. Our team leader, Elia, along with guides Charles and Eliakim, were outstanding. Their knowledge and skills ensured that our entire team were successful and that our experience was second to none. We had a 27 person support team and they were all inspirational and dedicated. Although we can’t mention them all, we’d like to make special mentions to Evan, our cook (great food and a great dancer as well), Jan and Ishmael, who seemed to be waiting around every corner with a smile and a tea, Japhari and Bernard, who carried our day packs on the summit drive, and Kombo for his great vocal leadership! We are indebted to all of you and thankful that you were there to help us reach our dreams!

My guided Mount Kilimanjaro 7-day Lemosho hike with Altezza was truly a unique experience that I will cherish forever! The guides were top notch, and the service from the camp lead to the waiters were amazing. They anticipated my every need and always with a warm smile on their face. A must do for Kilimanjaro hikers
We completed the Kilimanjaro Lomosho route and it was the experience of a lifetime. Stanley our guide was the best we could have hoped for; knowledgeable, patient, understanding and encouraging when times got stuff. The porters and the whole staff made the experience one of a kind. It was super easy to plan with Altezza who were very responsive and I was able to show up the day before the hike and rent lots of gear for reasonable prices. If you're thinking of hiking Kilimanjaro, I couldn't recommend this enough

The BEST company for Mount Kilimanjaro expeditions
My group & I had the best experience with Altezza Travel while hiking Kilimanjaro. They were extremely knowledgeable and attentive to all of our needs throughout the expedition. The team of 16 staff, worked flawlessly together to make it the most enjoyable time, despite the rainy weather. I enjoyed waking up to a hot cup of tea every morning in my tent, as well as seeing the waiter with a table set up along the trail everyday for tea & snacks. Once we summited, they celebrated us like it was the first time they’d seen someone complete this trek. I will forever recommend Altezza to any person wishing to hike Mount Kilimanjaro. From start to finish, they made this experience so easy for us.

We just finished a climb of…Kilimanjaro
We just finished a climb of Kilimanjaro. It was amazing. The team’s attention to detail was very unexpected, but so appreciated. And I felt a sense of pride when we came around a corner and there was a proper table set up with a tablecloth, for mid hike tea! No other companies did did anything like this! And we were a group of 2 ED physicians and an ED nurse, and still the guides Rashid and Exaud taught us things, and gave US medical advice…this is their wheelhouse! The entire team was genuinely happy for us when we summitted and when we reached the end. Top notch porters, cooks, servants, and dishwashers! I can’t think of a single thing that I could pass along that was lacking. So pleased with our choice. And, the hot water bottle bottles dressed as bunnies every night for our sleeping bags, we absolutely loved them. Nice touch!

The teams amazing, the service is amazing, guides are amazing, they did they’re very best to get me up, if they you see struggling they will walk with you one on one, they will carry your stuff, they designate snack and drink breaks, if your goal is to see the summit but your having a hard time barring any medical setbacks, they will get you there. I hiked up Kilimanjaro with Altezza and loved every moment. Even though we got rained on every day, and had no view from Uhuru Peak due to clouds and ice, I highly recommend the trip! Superior and above expectation Kilimanjaro trip!
The guides and porters with Altezza were the absolute best and made our experience so comfortable and enjoyable. They far exceeded our expectations and we would 10/10 recommend them to anyone planning to climb Kilimanjaro. Our guides, Wisen and Rashidi, each had over a decade of experience and were super knowledgeable, anticipating our needs and struggles and always there to support. Our camp master Humphrey kept everything in order and is a wonderful and enthusiastic singer! Our chef Hasan cooked delicious and nutritious meals every day. Our waiter Idi was always a delight and gently encouraging us to eat more to have energy. Our porter Juma made sure our portable toilet was the first thing set up at every camp. Special shoutout to Faraja the porter who helped carry my backpack on the summit. And all the other porters who made this possible!

Amazing experience with Altezza!
I booked the Kilimanjaro summit hike, 5 day Marangu route. The Altezza team were amazing, super friendly and they couldn’t do enough for you. We had 2 very experienced guides (Elia & Stanley) for a group of 4 hikers. In addition we had 10 support staff on the mountain with us all playing important roles.
Elia really helped to keep the positive energy through the tough periods, he is such a caring person and your wellbeing will be his number 1 priority. Stanley went out his way to get me a local SIM card for my mobile to stay in touch with family and helped me with my gear and even lent me his knee brace for the decent.
The staff really made the trip and Altezza have been great with logistics / helping with any questions.
Overall amazing experience with Altezza, they impressed me and consistently overdelivered!
