Did not receive service after being charged

I signed up for the 7 day trial, and cancelled my account before the 7 days was through. I was still charged for the annual subscription but was unable to log in to my account. After contacting support, they failed to provide the service. After some back and forth they eventually stopped responding to my email. At this point I disputed the charge with my credit card company. The service provider responded to the dispute, indicating that I did not request support prior to disputing the charge (which is untrue). And so the credit card company ruled in their favour, not providing me with a refund. I contacted Alphaspread support again, and they responded indicating that, because the charge was disputed, they would not provide me with the service. At this point I am out several hundred dollars with no access to the service. I will reopen the dispute with my credit card.

After reviewing our records, we can confirm that the annual subscription was activated following the trial period in accordance with the terms accepted at signup. Our system shows that the account remained active at the time of billing.

Regarding access issues, our support team did respond and requested additional information to help resolve the login problem. Unfortunately, before the troubleshooting process could be completed, the charge was formally disputed with the card issuer. Once a chargeback is initiated, we are contractually required to suspend access to the service and continue communication through the dispute process only, which is standard practice for subscription-based platforms.

The best tool for stock research

I rarely give reviews, but here I had to: I’ve been in the market since 2018 and have first-hand experience with many tools. Nothing compares to Alpha Spread. Really well done whoever put all this together!

Simply outstanding

Alpha Spread is extremely well designed in every aspect, conceptually and graphically. It makes the stock analysis so much easier and meaningful. Their intrinsic value calculation often agrees with mine and they also include other valuation methods. Simply outstanding tool.

Great valuation tools and interface

Great valuation tools and interface, very user friendly.
Beside usual valuation tools, very useful company reports.
All in all, great customer experience at a very reasonable price.
