Help is on the way
Someone opened a credit card under my info. I honestly wasn't sure where to start. The process to open a case was as simple as it possibly could be and I was immediately assigned an advocate to walk me through the appropriate steps. It did take some work and a lot of time but I was confident in the process and was elated when I received the letter that the debt had been cancelled and no further action was required.
I learned a lot but the help from Brandon kept the stress down. I think we all could use less stress.

Your website sucks. I’ve tried logging multiple times on both my phone and laptop. Every time I sign in it immediately says there is an error and to try again in a few minutes. FIX IT!

The rep was very knowledgeable and patient. He sent me written instructions to follow, and stayed on the line with me while I completed the freezing of my credit reports on 4 different sites. We did a 3-way call with a rep from Bank of America to find out exactly what had been attempted using my information, and confirmed that the offender was unable to complete setting up a checking account. I felt much better about having been targeted after working with the rep. I wish that I remembered hiw name to give him some personal kudos!

Immediate notification of identity theft
Without this service, I wouldn't have known that someone stole my identity and tried to set up a bank account. The rep was great and we had this shut down immediately and she sent me great info to prevent other uses of my identity.

Jordan was incredible
Jordan was incredible and put me at ease. He helped me through each step of the process of shutting down any attempts to use my identity and followed up on any open cases. He called credit card companies and AT&T with me to help get things sorted out and figure out next steps. I am so grateful I had him helping me through this -- he helped me avoid a nervous breakdown!

Alerts not informative enough
The alert for "We found your email address on the dark web" does not tell me which of my email addresses is compromised or where exactly it was found. This is of little value.

Text messages do NOT get successfully…
Text messages do NOT get successfully sent to Canadian phone numbers when individuals are out of country. We are snowbirds but the app does not allow us to put a “1” in front of our phone number. When the alternative method of sending the security code via email is used once the code is entered it immediately asks you to send the code send via text message….so needless to say it just becomes an unsuccessful frustrating experience!
