DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

This was by far the worst and most disturbing moving experience I have ever had. I have moved many times throughout Europe and the United States and am very familiar with hourly moving services. What happened with All My Sons did not feel like simple incompetence—it left me feeling that I was being systematically overcharged and pressured for additional money throughout the entire move.

I was quoted $171/hour for two movers for a one-bedroom apartment after providing both addresses in advance. The movers arrived at 10 AM, yet nearly an hour passed before they reached my apartment because they had not properly coordinated my building’s construction and access requirements. The hourly clock was running while they waited. One of the two movers also arrived with an injured hand.

I was then told the move would take much longer and encouraged to add a third mover for another $40/hour. I made it clear that I should not be paying for delays caused by a lack of preparation on their part. I received no response to my complaint.

I was also charged approximately $260 for four mirror boxes and tape, and a lamp was broken without anyone even telling me.

A one-bedroom apartment took until approximately 4:30 PM just to load.

When we arrived at my new building, I was told it was supposedly “too late” to unload and that they might have to keep my furniture overnight and return the following day. I immediately went to building management myself. They approved the unloading without an issue. Had I simply accepted what I was being told, I fear I would have faced yet another charge.

Then came the most alarming part: I was told I had to pay before they would unload and release my belongings.

They presented me with an electronic invoice of approximately $2,300. The numbers did not add up. I manually calculated the hourly rate and additional charges and repeatedly requested a clear, accurate, itemized bill. Instead, I received changing totals and was told there were “technical difficulties” with their system—all while more time was passing.

At that point, I felt trapped. My belongings were on their truck, I was being asked to pay an amount that I could not reconcile with the charges presented to me, and they would not unload until payment was made.

After repeatedly escalating the situation, the owner finally called me and agreed to $1,920.40. I paid because I wanted my belongings returned and wanted the ordeal to end. I was promised a follow-up call the next day. No one ever called.

This did not feel like a few unfortunate mistakes. It felt like one attempt after another to increase the amount I would have to pay, while I was in the vulnerable position of having my possessions on their truck.

I have never felt so taken advantage of by a moving company. The experience was stressful, intimidating and completely unacceptable. I would never use All My Sons again, and I strongly caution anyone considering trusting them with their belongings or their money.

Horrible company. We requested they send 3 movers. They sent 2 inexperienced movers. Within an hour they had damaged so much of our furniture we made them stop until they sent a 3rd mover. They destroyed walls and our finished wooden staircase in addition to our furniture. They did not wrap some of the furniture until they got it to truck. Our neighbors Ring camera showed movers taking our leather sectional, unwrapped, turning it on end and scooting it on concrete. Every piece of our $13k sectional had tears or scratch marks. We only moved 2 miles down the road. When at new home they refused to offload until we paid a higher price than agreed upon. They threatened to take our furniture back to warehouse. This all happened May 1st. We have been fighting with All MY Sons and even tried going through Better Business Bureau to get compensation for all the damage and repairs since May 1st. All My Sons would only agree to $750 for over $5k worth of damage. Never use this company.

I scheduled my move in date and my deposit was taken for services. Then my appointment was canceled on day of my move in. I was confirmed for another move in date in which they did not schedule me for. I called back the next day to verify and it was confirmed that it wasn’t scheduled. On the day of move-in I was told the movers would be there early afternoon. So, I took off of work to be available because now I don’t have much time to move before the end of the month. The movers didn’t show up until about 6pm and then could not get started because they didn’t have the paperwork to be paid. The movers started about 6:30 but, later they get a call from their supervisor saying they are going to have to stop soon because can not be on the road by a certain time. I was very upset and let them know that I need my belongings off the truck before they leave. I refuse to go through another day of dealing with being inconvenienced. Mr. Jackson then called his supervisor Mr. Charmers who was rude and threatened to pull his guys off the job right away. He was not interested or cared about the experience I was going through he only expressed his concern for payment and nothing else. While having this discussion he was very aggressive and agitated with my concerns. So once he didn’t want any to talk to me anymore Mr. Charmers hung up on me and Mr. Jackson was a witness to that. I called Sam yesterday for an escalation because of my concern but he has not called back either. I think this is the worst company to use for movers because they are inconsiderate and incompetent with no real value for the customer. I definitely have a problem with this as the movers divulged that they always treat people this way. They have customers double and triple booked. Also, that Mr. Charmers was more concerned with going to the bar instead of making sure that my move went appropriately and smoothly. That probably explained a lot of Mr. Charmers behavior because more than likely he had been drinking. Let’s not even include the poor service for astronomical prices. Never will recommend!!!

Excellent! Our crew was fantastic. They were professional, polite, efficient, cautious, and self-directed. We didn’t have to do a thing, and all of our belongings arrived safely without any problems.

These two made my move so easy. Moving to a different state even if it’s two hours away is incredibly stressful and these two were so caring and kind and the entire time as I’m having panic attack attacks they are there being like you got this Jen, got this. They were super delicate with my father’s ashes. They were very considerate of all of my books and my other breakables.
They help me put stuff into storage. They helped me with dog kennels. They were truly amazing and I would never move with anybody else again although I don’t think they come all the way out to Washington, but I would pay for it.

Honestly, a moving company cost a lot, but it’s so worth it because I couldn’t have moved any of that stuff down a flight of stairs by myself at all, and it was the best experience in my life. They made one of the most stressful days for me in many years, extremely easy and I love them.
The staff was amazing. The booking was so easy and they were so helpful and accommodating with me needing to move my dates around.

Ryan and Israel were absolutely amazing. They handled the furniture with care, made sure all the important pieces were wrapped and taped, and properly secured on the truck and also in the storage unit. If I ever move in the future, I will definitely request them. GIVE THEM A RAISE!!!

The team that helped us move was amazing. They showed up and we're so reassuring about the process. All of them were personable and polite and they took great care of us. They were so efficient but took the time to line up furniture and make sure that they were putting everything in the right room. This was my first time with movers but they made everything so easy. The booking team was also great. They were very helpful getting me in on short notice and they verified during the move that everything was going well.

Excellent communication with no hidden fees! The movers were thorough, careful and timely.

The crew sent was fantastic. They worked very hard the entire time and literally never stopped for 7 hours. They deserve 5 stars! My gripe is with the company. They don’t deserve any stars.

Last week my move was confirmed and I was transparent about what was needed to be moved. I expected the crew at 7am. At about 9 am someone calls me from the office and tells me something went wrong and the crew wouldn’t be there until 1pm. They asked me again for all of the item needing to be moved. To be honest I think they forgot to book me the week prior! Anyways, they sent a 2 person crew instead of 3. This took 7-8 hours for the move! I was quoted significantly less! My bill was $2,000!!! The crew was at a disadvantage because the company sent 2 and not the 3 they promised, but also got screwed because the move took several hours longer which at $175 / hour adds up fast. The difference between a 2 to 3 person crew is $60 / hr. I ended up being taken advantage of. That would’ve saved me hundreds! Dishonest company, would never use them again solely based on their lies! The crew should go to a reputable company.

The actual crew that did the moving was great no issues. As far as this company as a whole they purposely don’t tell you all the info up front so that you can get them out there and at that point have no choice but to pay almost $600 to move 25 items 10 mins and is extra fee on top of what there charging to wrap your stuff, I had no idea they have that reputation until I came to write this review and seen plenty just like this so it’s regular for them. If you’re rich and have no problem with underlying fees at the end they’re perfect they definitely will take care of you if not go anywhere else

We were thrilled with the professionalism, efficiency, and work quality of “all my sons.” our move required them to drive across four states. They arrived on time and did what they said they were going to do. Tyrone was the supervisor he was superior. Eddie and Jabari were excellent. Unfortunately, I can’t remember the name of the fourth guy on the crew, but he also was very good.

The crew did an amazing job!

The moving process itself was really efficient. The movers were really nice and professional. Pricing was good.

My only complaint is that currently Junk.com and All my Sons is going through an internal system switch. It made the pre-move stressful. Once this new system is completely implemented the companies will be great.

Before my next move I will reach out to All My Sons again… I will make sure that the internal system is properly implemented though.

Very timely, crew was very aware of wall, floors evan with large and heavy items. The crew was extremely friendly and polite.
Did have a 4 man crew do to preplanning of heavy and large items. That rep. Helped with when scheduling service.This all happend last minute and move was on a Sunday
Will definitely use again if the need arises.

The team from All My Sons was great. They listened to how we wanted to load/unload our furniture and they were very gentle with everything. This is the second time we used their services and have been very pleased.

The gentleman called in advance, showed up on time and did a great job moving our items. They took extra care to properly pack our fragile items and move them with care. These two guys were wonderful, friendly, courteous and dependable.

The team was great. Very professional, careful with our things and pleasant to be around. Thank you all!
