The garlic mincer is better than any…
The garlic mincer is better than any other. It’s easy to use, makes perfect minced garlic easy, and is easy to clean and put away. And that is important. I had the older, smaller style without the box on top and loved that too because of its simplicity. Gave that one to my best friend and she says it better than anything she has tried. It’s well made. I purchased 2 so I can give one to my sister. I was surprised when they were delivered so quickly AND with a free gift of a vegetable peeler! (Haven’t tried that yet) For me, it’s just perfect.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share this—it truly made our day to read your review!
We’re delighted to hear how much you love the garlic mincer and that it’s become your go-to tool for perfectly minced garlic. Easy to use, easy to clean, and easy to store are exactly the things we focus on, so it’s wonderful to know that this really comes through for you.
It also means a lot to us that you enjoyed the older model and even passed it on to your best friend—and that she loves it just as much. Hearing that you bought two so you could share one with your sister is incredibly flattering and honestly the best kind of feedback we can get.
We’re happy the quick delivery and the little surprise peeler put a smile on your face—hopefully you’ll enjoy using that one too. Thank you again for your kind words and for being part of the Alligator family!

I have had my chopper for probably 15 years and use it very often. It is reassuring to know replacement parts are available which reduces plastic in the waste bin.

Thank you so much for sharing this—what a fantastic testament to the product!
We’re truly happy to hear that you’ve been using your chopper for around 15 years and that it’s still an important part of your kitchen. Making replacement parts available is something we strongly believe in, precisely to extend the product’s lifespan and reduce unnecessary plastic waste.
Your feedback perfectly reflects the values behind the product: durability, long-term use, and sustainability. Thank you for your support and for being such a loyal customer over the years!

Beware of Tariffs
1) The price of 12.90 for several small feet and bumpers is exorbitant, especially since they should not need replacing every 10 or 20 usages. This is the second time I have had to replace them.
2) You neglected to warn of the ridiculous Trump Tax of 6.45 which would be needed to pay FedEx.
14 grudnia 2025
Odpowiedź od Alligator of Sweden
Thank you for your message and for sharing your concerns.
Regarding the price of the feet and bumpers, the cost is primarily due to shipping by air from Sweden. As these are small-volume spare parts shipped internationally, air freight is the most reliable option, but it does unfortunately result in higher shipping-related costs.
Concerning the import duties, we do inform customers on the first page of our website that local taxes and duties may apply. The so-called “Trump duties” and any associated fees charged by FedEx are imposed by U.S. authorities and carriers and are outside of our control.
We understand your frustration and appreciate your feedback, which we take seriously.

Great Product, But Service Needs Improvement
The product itself is excellent! I decided to buy it after talking with my friends who have been using it for more than 5 years and are very happy with it. The quality and convenience are great.
However, when I placed my order, I chose a set with two cutting grids (6×6 and 12×12). Unfortunately, I received only the 12×12 grid, plus an extra mini grid and a vegetable peeler. At that time, I was waiting for the delivery before the New Year holidays because I needed it for cooking a lot of dishes. We were also moving to a new house, so I didn’t have time to check or return the order. I thought maybe I made a mistake or missed some message from the seller.
In the end, I kept everything. The 12×12 grid is useful, and the peeler is very convenient, but the mini grid is almost not needed. Now, after checking my order history, I see that I ordered correctly, so the mistake was on your side. I hope this will not happen again because the product really deserves the highest rating.

Odpowiedź od Alligator of Sweden
Thank you very much for your detailed and thoughtful review—and for your kind words about the product quality and long-term performance. We truly appreciate your trust in us, especially coming from recommendations by friends who have used it for many years.
We sincerely apologize for the mistake with your order. You are absolutely right: if you ordered the set with both the 6×6 and 12×12 grids, you should have received exactly that. We’re sorry that this happened at such an inconvenient time, especially around the holidays and during a move.
We’re glad to hear that the 12×12 grid and the peeler have still been useful to you, but we understand your disappointment regarding the missing grid and the unnecessary mini grid. Your feedback is taken seriously, and we will use it to further improve our packing and order-check procedures to ensure this does not happen again.
Thank you again for your honesty and for highlighting that the product deserves the highest rating despite this issue. If you ever need assistance in the future, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly—we’ll be happy to help.
I haven’t received anything yet.
