I’ve been working with Alliance Tool Hire for a number of years now, and they’ve always been great to deal with. Our go-to contact is Kelly Pattison, who looks after our account and she’s brilliant. She’s super responsive, always happy to help, and often helps us out at very short notice with reactive hires.

If I ever speak directly with the depots, everyone’s been really friendly and easy to deal with. The customer service across the board has always been spot on.

I used the South London branch for some sanders. Grant and Roger were fantastic. Professional, friendly and reliable. Grant was really helpful on the phone when discussing requirements for the project and the process couldn’t have been smoother or clearer.

Have been using the Rainham branch. Really helpful knowledgable staff. Deliveries and pick up always on time. Far better service than other, bigger companies that I’ve tried using. Nothing is too much trouble. I always recommend them if asked.

Very reactive providing a quick turnaround when in need.

Absolute cowboys managing. Their website and Google listing clearly state they’re open on Saturdays – so I drove 20 minutes to get there, only to find them completely closed. What a waste of time and petrol.

This isn’t just a one-off mistake – it shows a complete lack of care for customers. Whoever’s managing the place clearly doesn’t know what they’re doing if they can’t even keep basic business info accurate.

How hard is it to update your website, Google, or phone line to reflect when you’re actually open? Really poor experience – I won’t be back, and I’d suggest others double-check before making the same mistake.

Big shout out to Steve and Marcus at the Helston, Cornwall branch for sorting out my small plant requirements at short notice. I have dealt with these guys a few times over the years and nothing is too much trouble. Always quick, professional and will do exactly what they promise.

Very very lazy people working there. My ladder supposed to be collected today for example and they came 3 days after. So so lazy and giving people excuses so they can hold their equipment there instead at their site
